In my opinion, he'd make a great event host as well. He did all the announcements from introducing the wedding party at the beginning of the ceremony, throughout the evening until dancing ended at 9pm. During the reception, he had everyone participate in a dollar game. That was fun and totally interactive; awesome idea for a table ice breaker if you didn't know everyone you're seated with.
