We have a unique post and beam structure that is not amenable to serious modification. As a result virtually all other designers wanted us to significantly modify the exterior profile of the house to get the cabinet storage and counter tops that we wanted. When we first spoke with Emilie she offered to create a side by side design with our current front running design. She had great visualization software that gave us 3 dimensional views which were very helpful. Her design and cost break down were significantly competitive with the previous designs we had. We then agreed to have her run her own design to see what she could come up with. Her design was an immediate favorite. She was able to accommodate the need for cabinets and countertops without modifying the exterior profile. The quality and configurations of the cabinets were a big selling factor. Emilie created an extensive and comprehensive design for the final cabinet purchase. She worked with us to successfully utilize every inch of available space. The final installation instructions were highlighted with extra notations to emphasize installation requirements. Her attention to detail is remarkable. She came out to the sight several times to facilitate the design and discuss special placements with the primary contractor. Overall we are exceptionally happy with the effort Emilie contributed and the final product is better than we had hoped. The only negative issue we had was a couple problems with delivery. There were a few damaged cabinets which delayed the finishing the final product. However, the cabinets were replaced and we are happy with the final product.

He even caught an issue with a small shed door that had been letting in water for years. He recognized the problem right away, made the proper adjustments, and explained everything clearly. The work was done efficiently, and the quality stood out. In December 2022, I needed all three of my garage door openers upgraded, and I didn't hesitate to call Thomas again. He installed new LiftMaster units, and the difference has been incredible. The openers are quiet, smooth, reliable, and far more modern than the old systems they replaced. Once again, he handled everything professionally, tested all the features, cleaned up afterwards, and made sure I understood how everything worked. What I appreciate most is that the level of service has remained consistently excellent over the years. Thomas takes pride in his work, shows up when he says he will, charges fair prices, and treats your home with respect. It's rare to find someone who maintains this level of quality across multiple visits. If you're in the Merrimack Valley, the Seacoast area, or anywhere in Essex County, Thomas is absolutely worth calling for anything related to garage doors, repairs, or opener installation. I've referred many people to him and will continue to do so. He's a reliable professional you can trust.

Our old…read moreCambridge home, while beautiful & full, held some noticeable "off-juju" in various rooms & corners. Cosmically, we had the fates help us to find & call upon Janine Whitaker. After living for almost 2 decades in CA, I had moved home to Boston where my sage & Palo Alto sticks + crystal sprays often attracted strange stares from my hometown friends & family.  However, after years of subtle yet undeniable balancing & intention manifesting using these tools, I was adamant they would still hold a place in my East coast life.  We lacked the professional experience to tap into expanded levels of spiritual, energetic tools (Janine uses all of the best of them!), thus we needed a shaman.   Not surprisingly, the universe led us to exactly the person we set our intention to find.  After locating Janine's website in the local google search, I phoned & in one conversation felt she was our "it".  Along with her lovely assistant Kate, we scheduled Janine to come to our home and in a warm & easy ceremony (which my husband & I chose to participate in!), we cleared & blessed our home.  The difference was immediate, even my somewhat skeptical (& intensely practical!) husband "felt" a profound difference.  We were so happy that within weeks, we asked Janine to travel to "clear" our vacation home too & similarly felt old juju's lifted & welcomed in their place a palpable sense of clarity & harmony after her work there. As my husband & I approached our New England August wedding, we both began feeling that we needed a spiritual element, authentic to us and at once infused with sacred ceremony.  We called Janine who presented us with a handful of extraordinary ideas.  We asked if she would "bless our ceremony space", share spirit stones with our guests and perform a Celtic hand-tying ceremony as part of our wedding. Janine Whitaker will forever hold a most special place in our lives!
