It posseses open fireplaces, and a choice of cozy tables for 2 or 4, and long tables for larger parties in the back. HRH Prince Charles, Dylan Thomas have both visited here, to sample the beer still brewed on the premesis. The food is pricey, but what a meal you get for your money! A huge plateful that would be enough for two! the most reasonable is the Roast dinners, approx £10 a head. The walls and ceilings of the Inn are covered in memorobilia, from horse brasses to farming tolls, there is enough to occupy your mind while you wait for your meal. On your way to the loo you will encounter a full suit of armour, and in the back are fish tanks, and a talking parrot!

Mine host, Mike, brought this pub back into the mainstream five years ago. It had been a house for…read morethe previous 18 years. Mike keeps Reverend James and London Pride on the pumps at all times and there is always a great guest ale too. Last night he started with Sharp's Doom Bar and then changed the barrel for Tribute two great beers that were well kept. The place was a hive of activity last night and the locals and visitors alike obviously enjoyed the beer and the good company. Mike has created a fantastic beer garden too, which overlooks the marsh and the beautiful church at Llanrhidian. He keeps ducks and chickens, which children enjoy watching, and these birds provide fresh eggs both for the kitchen and for the out sales customers. A large car park is available, and the pub is just down the hill from the bus stop. The Rake & Riddle caters for everyone with a tidy sized restaurant, sports bar and cafe. There is an outdoor seating area and play area for the kids. With a tidy sized car park to the rear. The chips that came with both are cooked just like regular chip shop chips, which is a major plus from us.
