Saw an advert in the local newspaper - the Llanelli Star a little while back for the Bell Inn. Was unaware is doing Sunday carvery until seeing the advert for a modest £6.95. The advert stated they are available to take your orders now and to book your table, delivery or takeaway.
Often passed by the pub as it is on the main bus route to Swansea and about 10 minutes ride from the center of Llanelli. This unassuming village pub is in on the main road in Bynea.
Decided to go with two friends it check it out and give it ago. Never set foot in the pub before, it was small cozy and friendly. The staff was pleasant and very helpful.
We were served swede, mashed potato, carrots, cabbage, roast parsnips, soaked peas, roast potatoes, stuffing, Yorkshire puds and homemade gravy! Myself and my companions tucked in and found it very enjoyable.
We followed on with dessert ay £2.95 each; I had chocolate fudge cake & cream whilst my companions had a jam sponge and ice cream.
Also understand the landlords are relatively new and the pub also does evening meals & breakfasts too.
Highly recommended will go back again soon. read more
