Unsafe living conditions…read more For two full weeks, we were living in an apartment that was under active construction, including times when parts of our ceiling were completely removed. The unit had exposed electrical wiring, exposed nails, and fiberglass, creating extreme hazards. Industrial fans ran throughout the day and night , and the caused skin reactions, which caused me to remain confined to the bedroom to avoid exposure. They were fully aware of the unsafe conditions but were not willing to take meaningful action to address them or provide reasonable accommodations

While the active leak was addressed quickly, the repair process that followed was prolonged and far more disruptive than originally communicated. For roughly two weeks, we were living in a unit under active construction. Portions of the ceiling were removed, insulation was exposed, and industrial drying equipment ran throughout the day. The constant noise, exposed materials, and ongoing work significantly interfered with our ability to live normally. We were unable to comfortably use our kitchen or common areas the way we typically would, and much of our daily routine was disrupted. During that time, we experienced skin irritation and respiratory discomfort that coincided with the exposed materials and ongoing repairs, which added to our concern. Our frustration was less about the need for repairs and more about how the situation was handled. Completion timelines shifted, communication changed, and follow-through felt inconsistent. We made multiple efforts to resolve the matter respectfully and directly. A rent concession and legal agreement were discussed, but timelines continued to move and communication stalled. We were also presented with the option to transfer under a new lease term rather than adjusting our current lease, which would have added additional cost and disruption. Unexpected maintenance issues can happen anywhere. What matters most is communication, clarity, and reasonable accommodation during the process. In our experience, those elements were lacking, which made an already difficult situation significantly more stressful.

My wife and I have lived in this apartment complex for almost 2 years now and we love our…read moreapartment! The layout is great, there's a huge island in the kitchen, and all the appliances work perfectly. We have never had any electrical problem other than lights going out every now and then, for which the maintenance crew generally responds to quickly. There are only a few things that I would would be improved on in the complex, first of which is the dumpster situation. Although there are signs posted for residents to not throw furniture away in the dumpster area, many still fail to read them/don't care and just dump their furniture anyways. This creates a block where others can't reach the dumpster and they just leave their trash bags at the entrance. A possible way to fix having copious amounts of furniture laying around is to have cameras installed that can monitor the area so managers can take action to clear out the debris or contact the residents responsible. The second thing I would like to see improvement on is the gate situation. Although having gates is a privilege, they regularly break (except recently, so hopefully I don't jinx it), and when they do they're out for weeks. Additionally, when having visitors come to the complex they're required to type in a code that calls a single phone. This is normally fine except for when the person with that phone is busy elsewhere. A nice option would be to have a code that is regularly changed that is stated in a weekly (or monthly) email for people to use to enter (especially if you forget your key card!). Aside from these minor complaints, this complex really is great. Packages are delivered to the front desk/your door, and you can feel secure knowing that they're locked away until you get there or the gate at the front of the complex is preventing outside people from stealing it. The pool is very nice and the grills are used frequently in the summer, and the dog park is great for letting your dog run around. The workout room is a little small and lacking variety, but there isn't much room to bring in new equipment so that's understandable. For the price point, however, this complex is awesome.

I Put in a…read moremaintenance request 8 weeks ago to get 2 leaks fixed in the bathroom one coming from behind the shower and one from the ceiling that had mold on it, after hearing nothing from them for 2 weeks I called them and then they finally came out and cut a hole in the ceiling to find the toilet in the unit above is leaking well now 8 weeks after putting in the request the hole is still open and everything is still leaking. Have not heard anything for an update on when it's getting fixed and have asked multiple times and when asked they're like oh you have a second leak like they didn't even read the maintenance request or look at the pictures I attached to it. I have to change the towel that I put on top of the cabinets to catch the water every other day because the towel gets soaked with the toilet water coming down. this is absolutely ridiculous on how long it takes to get something fixed. Previous management would've had this done in less than a week, but it seems like everything they do around here They just wanna save money and do the bare minimum. And when they did come to cut a hole, they didn't move anything out of the way and just left all their trash and debris. I had to clean it up and clean all of my stuff in the bathroom due to having sheet rock and insulation all over it and then left sheet rock on top of the cabinets. How long does it take to get leak fixed? Now the cabinet is swelling from absorbing the water and the office is not answering my calls and I still have toilet water leaking down.
