I booked the 90 minute Nuansa classic massage. You know how some places start the clock before you've sat down and finish the massage early (aka you pay for an hour and it's only about 45 minutes)? Well! That's not the case here! I got all 90 minutes of my massage. The massage itself: not to be believed. Lukkana started by saying "time to relax". And boy did I. Let me tell you one thing about me - I have the most ticklish legs of anyone I've ever met. Usually, when I have my legs massaged, I kick a hole in the wall and the masseuse files for a lawsuit (this is an exaggeration). Well! Somehow, Lukkana was able to work the muscles in my leg without triggering my dainty ticklish reflexes. I was astonished! My husband repeatedly asked her to focus on his neck and shoulders and avoid his feet. His requests were ignored. The technique was lazy and mechanical - repetitive forearm circling with little to no pressure, despite requesting deep tissue. He left feeling like he didn't receive a massage at all. When we raised the issue, the owner acknowledged the behavior was "unacceptable" yet offered only a 25% discount - as if actively texting during a massage, ignoring repeated client requests, and delivering a substandard service were minor inconveniences.
