The quality of care is top notch. I love all of the Providers. The Senars' are awesome. Batin, Encarnacion, and Gonzalez are awesome. All of nursing staff is awesome. The front desk staff is truly top tier and awesome. It is a welcoming environment. I highly recommend. I've always been able to get an appointment when needed. They have been very flexible. I have been struggling to find the appropriate words for this review, because I want to be clear. Dr. Senar was an excellent Peds for my son. However, that does not negate the many issues we experienced with his office/clinic. The 3 star rating is purely for the doctor whom I would give 5 stars if I could also give 0 stars for his office, so I'll stick with the 3 star average. We started taking my son to Dr. Senar after we met him at the hospital when our son was born. We immediately loved him and decided he would be our choice for our son, but from the beginning we always had trouble getting in to see him. The number of un-returned phone calls and messages would have been enough to upset any parent but tack on the issues we had getting follow-ups scheduled, prescriptions called in, or anything that wasn't a "routine" visit and you get a complete picture of what we have dealt with. And that was all PRE-Covid. Since covid, its been dead silence. No returned phone calls and, no appointments available. We were always forced to go to urgent care with absolutely no follow up with his office despite many calls trying to do so. Now we are being told that they dropped our son as a patient because he hasn't been seen in "over a year" (its been nearly 4 actually) and that their policy is to not retain any patient that isn't seen in over a year. It doesn't matter, apparently, that we have been trying and even refused at times and directed to go to urgent care BY the office. I have never felt like an office cared less. I want to start off that the Doctors are really great. I had a great experience with Dr. Senar and his wife. Dr. Senar was the on call doctor when my son was born. He actually listens to me and my needs. I have mentioned to him multiple times that we do not want to have shots that a combined and would like every vaccination in separate vials. I am very appreciative of him making this accommodation with all the babie's shots. However, I have horrible experiences with the front office clerks. The girls are rude, they barely say hello when you walk in, they cant even pronounce my son's name. They do not do reminder calls, texts or send appointment reminders. They fail to schedule my son for any follow ups after He has been seen. I ask them over and over can we schedule for next shot appointment and they mention to call a few months later. I am applaud how easy they forget who you are. Here we are months later and my son turned 1 and they never reached out nor cared to let us know about his shots that we missed. I called one day for a doctors note from a previous appointment that I forgot to get and they said "We dont do those" I kept on repeating that we need to clear my sons absence. I firmly yelled and demanding a doctors note from a day or so after his appointment and I told her "have it ready by 5pm and I will be on my way to get it" As I arrived they had it ready. It took alot of complaining and forcing the ladies hands just to get a doctors note. SMH. We love the doctors but absolutely hate all the front staff! read more

Please don't call me and say "we can still see your baby when you get here but you would need to switch her provider to us"...mind you I was not feeling well, my baby wasn't feeling well and I told her I'll do that when I can. We barely got my baby's insurance and Kern Family Health randomly assigns a doctor for you. But a month prior before, when I made the appt for my baby's 2 month physical, I was told by the medical receptionist that all they needed was my baby's CIN # -- she had the opportunity right there to tell me that they will be needing the primary doctor changed to theirs which she never did. Anyway, I got my baby ready and headed to Senar's office just to be told they couldn't see my baby because her provider isn't Senar. So I called KFH and she was switched to Senar but it would take 20 minutes. It's been more than 20 minutes and my baby isn't in the system and they still wouldn't see my poor sick baby. So I just fcking left without a word. Called KFH back and told them to switch back to the first provider they assigned my baby to. The girl at the reception desk when you walk in is sitting at the right, do your job better! Again, don't you EVER tell your patients they'll "still be seen" when you know damn well that's a lie. Such a shame too that Senar is a Filipino doctor, I'm happily going somewhere else. Mercy SW should've NEVER randomly assigned me to that doctor knowing how he and his team run their medical facility. read more

I cannot stress this enough.... Dr. Belinda has been my kids Dr since they were babies. My oldest girls (twins) are now 20 so we've known her for quite some time She is by far the best I've known. Ok so I don't come here for the doctors. I came to get my daughters ears pierced. I did my first daughters 5 years ago and knew I would come back if I had another girl, and I did! They are professional and clean especially during these times. They make the the marks on the babies ears and make sure you're pleased and if you want them to adjust they will. They use medical grade plastic so no chance for a reaction. I will definitely recommend to anyone who's looking to get their babies ears pierced! read more

Dr. Senar was the pediatrician at Mercy Southwest Hospital when my daughter was born and he was so nice that I thought I would use him for our primary pediatrician. He referred me to his private practice and I immediately scheduled a newborn screening there. When I showed up for my appointment, I was less than impressed with the experience. The front desk staff was very short with us while we were signing in and even more so when we were checking out. The medical assistant that led us to our room and took the baby's vitals was the only pleasant person in the place. The doctor I saw at the hospital was not the same doctor I saw at his office. Apparently she was his wife - she made sure to tell me about 5 times. She was very quick to run in and run out, barely looking over the baby. She didn't ask if I had any questions or anything. She just quickly looked her over and said we should come back in a month. I dont know if we would have had a better experience when Mr. Dr. Senar was in, but I won't be back to find out. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. I arrived and checked in 20 min early for my set appointment time. After waiting for 1 1/2 hours and seeing others who had just arrived be called in before me, I went up to the receptionist and asked her how much longer for my time , she replied by saying I don't know. After seeing a patient wait no more than 5 minutes after their arrival, I AGAIN asked why I was still waiting after so much time even with an appointment and the receptionist states" SOME KIDS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOURS" ( I had a 1 month old baby that was wheezing and coughing persistently). Needless to say I had them remove my child from their patient list and will NEVER RECOMMEND OR ATTEND THIS OFFICE AGAIN. read more

This place is a joke we have legalized medical exemptions and they discharged us as patients because we refuse to poison our kids with vaccines even though we home school. They pressure parents and try to scare them into doing what they want.This place is unprofessional and the staff is rude. The clients are made to wear masks meanwhile the sharp waste person didn't have to wear mask or gloves while handling the used and contaminated sharps waste bins while touching all the door handles. read more

The front office staff is incredibly rude. They act like they don't want to be there and anything is an inconvenience to them. Anytime I call to make an appointment it takes at least ten mins to get ahold of anyone. Sometimes it takes days to get an appointment and when we do, the wait time is never under 30 mins. As a newborn my son had a problem that needed surgery. I knew something was wrong but the doctor had us go to get x rays, which were not needed, sit in the emergency room for 8 hours and then finally told us to just drive to the children's hospital for an emergency surgery. The doctor at the children's hospital was amazed that he had us do all these different things rather than tell us just to go straight there for surgery. We always leave feeling like we are just money to them, definitely not a family doctor. read more

I would not recommend Brimhall Pediatrics. I took my children in for our first appointment and saw Dr. Belinda Senar. She was pretty inattentive, seemed in a hurry, and was not listening to my concerns. She hadn't been in the room for 5 minutes and was already talking about putting my daughter on meds for ADHD. My daughter does not have ADHD, she has anxiety. She was not listening to me and jumped straight to a diagnosis without even saying a word to my daughter. I left there feeling very frustrated and immediately took my children elsewhere. read more

Been going to them for 7 years and now all of a sudden want to deny our new born son care, because they don't want to wait for the turn around from our insurance. Making appointments for my son just to call and cancel the next week, when I could've been looking else where to take him. Now he is over a month behind on his vaccines. The office staff is the most uncaring, rude, incompetent and unorganized people I have ever dealt with. I cannot emphasize enough how rude the girls behind the desk are. I ended up cancellong our appointment and switching doctors because of the way we were talked to and treated by the staff. If you care about your kids don't take them to this place. Dr. Senar was the on call at the hospital for my son so he knew about my son's health condition already. I went here to do the check up that we were told he would do the next day and that he would handle my son's x rays. The wife forgot about my newborn son in a room for almost 2 hrs and then they told us that I would have to wait to know if my son gets approved for the procedure. However he refused to answer my questions he just instead tried to give me the run around. When they went to schedule the follow up the nurse forgot what day he said after she had literally told him not even 5 minutes ago. I don't even know if he did the referral yet or his office forgot again since that's the only thing they're good at. Not to mention I had to call 6 times to know what time to come because I was told they would see me that day but they then took the entire day to let me knows when I could come by. Eventually I was told I needed to rush over there last minute after the 6th phone call. And they didn't even seem concerned over my son's kidney issue that could potentially be extremely serious. The prescription order is always a problem. They always make a mistake as to where they send the prescription and I am sent from pharmacy to pharmacy to look for the right medications . It has happened repeatedly , I cannot believe this is handled so poorly. It's been more than 12 hours and I'm still waiting for the medication to reach the pharmacy successfully read more

They got us in quickly, and as new patients made my kids feel at home. My twelve-year-old twin boys were squeamish about the pee sample, and they waited without shaming or really any comments at all, for the boys to pull it off and get the rest of their physical. Dr Lyndon Senar M.D. has seen my daughter twice. In both of those visits he never washed his hands or wore gloves. He proceeded to touch my daughter in her face mouth ears and also opened her diaper and touched her down there to just look. After that he went to the other room for a different appointment and I listened the second time to hear if he washed his hands and he didn't. Dr. Belinda Senar- Santos was my son's pediatrician since he was a newborn. I don't recommend her at all nor do I recommend any of the doctors there. The staff is very rude as well, and make you feel like you're an inconvenience to them when you ask a question about a certain appointment or just in general. We've never had a good experience during our time with Dr. Santos. It always felt like she was in a hurry to get us out of there. We always had different concern's or questions and she ALWAYS brushed it off. Our son rolled his ankle recently (15 months) and started limping. She sent us three different times to get x-rays done and she still wanted us to wait another week, and wanted us to just wrap his ankle in a bandage you buy over the counter. We immediately switched doctor's and our new doctor immediately refered us to an orthopedic specialist for our son. We weren't suprised with Dr. Santos because this wasn't the first time she's neglected our son. He was born with ezcema and he would scratch his face, body until he would bleed. We tried asking her questions and solutions and she literally said "Just change your diet, and just use Aveeno products". We didn't see any improvements and it got worse and worse. We took him back after a few weeks and she was like "Wow he definitely needs a strong hydrocortisone cream". She FINALLY prescribed us a hydrocortisone cream you cannot get over the counter. My point is that it took her weeks for her to actually do something. She has no bed side manners. She walks in and immediately walks out without saying I'll be right back and sends in the girl that did the vitals to discharge you. It's very rude and very unprofessional. read more

I love Dr Belinda Senar. We've only seen her husband once when he did the hospital round. She has always been friendly with the kids and approachable. Front staff is efficient & good at getting us in with an appointment when needed. I don't think I've ever waited more than 40 minutes to be seen. We switched from Riverwalk pediatrics clinic because the wait time was ridiculous there and the waiting room was always crowded. I'll be sad when my kids graduate to an "adult" doctor. read more

The Senior Lady Doctor that's covering Dr. Senar and Santos is very rude to my wife. My 16 year old Son is a Mt climber who's going to Nepal to climb base camp of Mt Everest to raise fund for clean water for Africa in two weeks this November and made an appointment to secure an emergency prescription for possible use of Antibiotic, anti nausea and Diamox for altitude sickness. She literally doubted my wife, didn't even assess and check my son , refused to give emergency prescription for my son and literally made a 2 minute encounter and dismissed my family. I'm a senior RN and a leader at San Joaquin Hospital and this practice is infuriating. Legally, you have to spend at least 15 minutes with your patient and make your assessment and listen to your pt. Concern. We paid our copay with this and I believe our insurance have to pay $180-210 visit fee. This is unacceptable. Both Dr. Senar and Santos is great. Dr. Santos prescribed all this emergency prescription last year when he climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro and the relieving Dr. didn't even bother look at my Son Chart/Record. This happened Friday and I will sure follow this up on Monday. read more

Can not say enough wonderful things about Dr Senar. From the very beginning when I had my daughter he was amazing. At a few days old my daughter was throwing up blood and he made sure to call MSW and Madera children's hospital and personally talked to the doctors at both hospitals and made sure they had a bed/room ready for us when we got to both. He even had them have the ambulance ready to go to take us to Madera. My daughter is now almost 3 and a half and every time we see him he remembers her. She even asks to go to the doctor to see him and get shots! He is the most caring dr! My daughter could not be in better hands! The other drs and staff have been awesome to us as well! read more
