After I graduated, and went to school in Maryland, I still flew home 3 times a year to get my hair colored and cut. Then I moved to Japan with the US Navy... and I still wouldn't let anyone color my hair. Colors just look so good, and so natural... she literally just makes you look like the best version of yourself. She does everything too. Cuts. Colors. Hi lights. Low lights. Funky to normal. Curly updos. I had to cut my hair for the Navy, and she still managed to do an updo that made it look like I had 10 inches of hair without a hair piece. But she also works well with pieces and does great dye to match jobs! Booking is always tough, because her clients are die hard fans. But the prices are UNBEATABLE. I've been all over the world, and you get the most bang for your buck here. Evelyn is so great the running joke for the last few years is I am booking her, and flying her out to do my bridal party because she makes any hair type look amazing in any style. If you take a photo, you will walk away with exactly what you want.

And my poor husband has to hear way more than he probably wants. He didn't have to say it, but I know that he's at least as delighted as I am that I found Candace. Lovely, informative website. Automated appointments. I live right down the street, but I did a dry a run because I had no idea there was a salon suite there! Our pets go to Metro Paws, and this is basically right behind them. Plenty of parking. (Biggie for me) Clean, cute salon suite. Sweet, super-nice stylist. She LISTENS. I needed my hair and makeup done for my engagement party, and I didn't want to pay a ridiculous price. I couldn't believe that the prices here were so reasonable, especially with the type of establishment they have. The place is REALLY nicely decorated and feels very upscale. They offered me a glass of wine (but alas, I do not drink) -- I believe they also offered me water. I had no idea what we were going to do with my hair other than a half-updo. However, the person I was working with (I wish I remember her name!) was amazing. We looked through books together and finally came to a conclusion as to what we were going to do. She was really into doing my hair! She added all these fine details (like ring loops which made me look like I was wear a tiara in my hair). I got compliments all night! My makeup was pretty awesome too -- she worked with what I wanted, and they use some nice makeup (though it is foundation based, not airbrush). If I needed something done for a formal event in Dallas, I'd go again.
