I'm so disappointed that this is the first place we went to for engagement ring shopping. Many of my friends had gotten their ring from brilliant earth online and loved it. This brick and mortar location has a lot of room for improvement. We arrived about 40 minutes very early to our appointment hoping they could take us early- not only were they unable to take us early, they were 20 minutes late to our appointment. There was no communication whatsoever that our sales person was running late. Our salesperson was friendly but seemed inexperienced and not very knowledgeable about their products. The order wasn't processed, or they hadn't even started the work. Then it took forever to get the ring back. To make things worse, just three months after our wedding, my gold band literally broke in half -- while I was drying my hands with a towel. This place is a joke. If you're considering a ring from Brilliant Earth, I strongly advise against it. While the initial selection and purchasing process is pleasant, their repair service is deeply flawed, marked by delays, poor communication, and what feels like unethical behavior. On July 27, 2024, a small diamond fell out of my wedding band during a trip. I took my rings to the Brilliant Earth showroom in Atlanta on July 29 for repairs. Since my rings were soldered together, I went without them for over a month. I ultimately decided to have the solder undone, which was a good choice. My rings were returned to the showroom on August 23, but I had already flown out of the country that morning, a fact I communicated to the repair rep. Unfortunately, no effort was made to expedite their return. When my husband picked me up from the airport on August 27, I was thrilled to finally have my rings back, only for the center stone of my engagement ring to fall out on August 31. I promptly emailed my repair rep with a picture, but received no response by September 3. I called the showroom, and they escalated my case to Caroline Pepple, the Customer Experience Assistant Manager, who had previously assisted us. I had high hopes, but was consistently let down. On September 8, Caroline informed me my engagement ring would be delivered on September 13. When I heard nothing that day, I emailed her. After following up again, I learned it was held for additional quality control and would now arrive on September 17. On September 15, I finally received a response from Caroline, who noted she was out of the office on Fridays and Saturdays. While I value work-life balance, I expected better communication from someone in her role. Especially given all of the issues I had been experiencing up to this point. The least she could've done was connect me with another team member who would've been working those days to ensure I was still receiving proper service and care. On September 17, I followed up again about the delivery. Caroline reported a FedEx delay, promising to keep me updated. She later informed me that my ring would arrive on September 18 but could not provide a tracking number. It eventually did arrive, but I was concerned about the lack of information throughout. On September 22, I noticed that the mark of purity was missing from my ring. Alarmed, I took it to a local jeweler, who tested it and confirmed that my engagement band is now 18k gold, even though I ordered it in 14k. I returned to the Atlanta showroom, but they only offered to send it off for further inspection, but how am I to continue to trust their process of repairs given all of the above? 1. Why is my ring now 18k instead of 14k? It raises concerns about Brilliant Earth's repair practices. 2. Why am I having to initiate all follow-ups? 3. Why are we paying so much for such poor service? You won't get your ring when they say and no one can assist you with shipping information. They blame FedEx for the delay and continue to claim it's being sent. Customer service is a joke. It's a random call center that can't contact the store. The sales associate gives you false information. My boyfriend had a surprised engagement planned and he waited because the ring delivery date couldn't be confirmed. He had to purchase a stand-in ring the SAME day because people flew in from out of town and he had already pushed back the date given the constant delays in shipping. We go into the store in atlanta and they say they don't give updates and there is no way to call. After we reiterate the process we went through they then realize the regular "I'm sorry it's delayed" wouldn't fly. Abracadabra they "find" the order and it was never shipped, but now being overnighted after 3 weeks of waiting. Do not buy from this company. They do not practice ethics like they preach. All they have done is lie to me. My ring has had stones fall out twice in one year. When I went for repairs this time- they told me 3 weeks. They STILL have my ring 2 months later and they still do not know when or if they will return my ring. At this point it is theft and fraud. I have fully paid for my ring and do not have my ring or any date that they believe I will have it. Every single week from week 3, I have been told only a couple more days. It was a shorter amount of time to make my ring than to repair it. If you want to actually wear a ring you pay over 7k for, this is not the company for you. Run. This is by far the worst company I have ever had the *dis*pleasure of doing business with. My partner and I love spending money and don't mind splurging so when it came to my engagement ring I didn't think too much about price and what we would have to spend to get something nice. If I could go back I would go to Kay jewelers and get the ring on sale at Christmas. First, they sent a size 7 ring when I'm a 5.5. Good way to ruin the best day of my life. Anyway I don't wear rings a lot so I didn't know how off that was. So I went in to request the proper size we had ordered. That was too confusing for them even when we had email receipts. Finally got it two months later maybe? Too late for my engagement party at least. Because I don't wear rings and didn't know what size would be best 24/7 I went back to get it sized down after wearing it a few days which is totally practical. They said they couldn't do it because it was "already resized" ... no you sent the wrong size. So fiiinally get that back. Had to delay engagement photos. Now it's just a few weeks before my wedding and I finally get my ring. Oh and because I didn't learn my lesson I ordered my wedding band from there too. The day after my wedding both rings break. I didn't even have time to get insurance on my wedding band so that was a total loss. They repaired my engagement ring at half price but didn't do a good job because it broke 6 months after that. We visited the showroom in January 2022 and were told they would keep my ring size and setting we chose on file for whenever we were ready to buy. Months later when my fiancé went to purchase, they didn't have note of my ring size or which setting we chose so my fiancé guessed. When he proposed a few months later, we discovered the ring was too big. We went to the store to have it resized the day after we got engaged and were told they couldn't resize it down more than one full size and I needed 1.75. Even though my fiancé had purchased their $500 extended warranty, BE was not willing to resize it or swap the setting for the correct size so we had to buy a whole new setting. The original setting was $1100 yet they were only willing to give us a "metal credit" of $260 toward a new setting. We paid the difference and sent the ring to their headquarters with the promise of delivery by December 14th as we needed it by the 17th. This delivery date was also advertised on their website. On December 12th, we called to verify the delivery date and were told we wouldn't receive the ring until January. We spoke with several BE representatives to see if there was anything they could do and they offered no assistance so I left a review. After I left the review, a rep called my fiancé and told him the reason for the delay was because we hadn't let them know if we wanted to purchase the $500 extended warranty or not. He told her he'd already purchased the warranty and she informed him that that warranty only covered the first setting and if we wanted a warranty on the new setting, we would have to pay another $500. My fiancé told them he wasn't giving them another dime. The rep then asked him if we would be willing to remove our review if they could refund part of the second setting. He said no and hung up. I emailed them about how unhappy we were with the situation and said we wanted them to keep the ring and refund our whole purchase. The next representative called to let us know they were only willing to refund the second setting. She said it was against Brilliant Earth's policy to issue refunds while reviews are up so in order to receive the refund, I would need to sign papers stating that I had removed all reviews and I wouldn't leave any more or discuss my experience (an NDA) first. For a company that bases its whole brand on being "ethical," this is extremely unethical business practice. I did not sign the NDA and the new ring arrived 17 days after the promised delivery date with an obviously crooked center stone. After a lot of back and forth, they finally agreed to refund our money. The whole experience was a nightmare and fully occupied the first month of our engagement. The customer service is awful and the craftsmanship is lousy. I highly recommend researching this company on consumer affairs, the better business bureau and reddit before shopping. read more

Jasmine helped us out and she was so wonderful! She brought out a collection of rings for me to try on, and helped me narrow down what I wanted. She also helped me figure out what band would look great and to consider what a wedding band would look like with the ring I chose. She's so knowledgeable. Once I confirmed the shape, she recommended I book a second appt so they can have more selections of what I liked. My fiancé and I went to brilliant earth to look at engagement rings in January 2022. We weren't ready to purchase that day so the woman who we had the appointment assured us she would keep notes on our file as far as the ring size and setting preference we had discussed. Once I was ready to purchase the ring in July, I called brilliant Earth to get our notes. Not only was there no note regarding her ring size but there was also no note of which setting she had chosen, just three we looked at. Wanting the proposal to be a surprise, I ordered the ring and guessed on the size since there was no note on file like we had been promised. My fiancé was pregnant with our child so I did not propose until November, after the baby was born. As soon as I proposed, we discovered the ring was too large. My fiancé drove an hour to brilliant earth to take it in to be sized the next day. We were told it could not be sized down to her size and we would have to purchase a new setting. They didn't have any available appointments to let her look at settings while she was already there so she had to drive back again on 12/3. She ordered the setting and dropped her current ring off. She made it clear to the associate that we needed the ring back before Christmas. When my fiancé dropped the ring off on 12/3, the associate told her that she didn't need to pay anything upfront and someone from Brilliant Earth would contact us once they decided how much "metal credit" they'd give us for the original setting and at that time we would pay the remainder. Well, we waited until 12/7 and still hadn't heard anything so I called to check on the status. They'd already done the evaluation and told us we would be getting $260 credit for the setting we just paid them $1090 for and we needed to pay an additional $786 for the new one that would fit her finger. At that time, their website clearly stated "order today for delivery by December 14th." I made sure to verify with the woman I paid on the phone that we would receive our ring by December 14th and she assured me that we would. On December 12th, the tracking information for the new ring said it still had not been picked up by the carrier. I called to verify that we would still receive it by December 14th and was told it would actually be January 2nd. At this time, the Brilliant Earth website was still advertising "order today for a Christmas proposal!" I was told that even though we'd been promised delivery by December 14th, and even though new customers could order a ring and have it by Christmas, we would not get ours until the new year. If we would've been told an accurate date for delivery, we would've waited until after Christmas to drop it off. We went to see family out of state this weekend to celebrate our engagement and had no ring to show. This was devastating for my fiancé as this only happens once in a lifetime. Customer service has been extremely unaccommodating. Only AFTER my fiancé left a negative review online did someone reach out to us. When we got the call, we were given the excuse that the ring wouldn't be ready in time because we hadn't let them know if we wanted to purchase another $500 warranty or not. This is simply false. That is not the reason as nobody had ever asked or mentioned that during our several phone calls and chats online with customer service about the delay. We were told that that's the date production has given and there's nothing we can do about it. After I told the woman who called that I was not spending another dime with their company, I was asked if I would remove the negative review if I was refunded the $786 I'd spent on the second setting. It is my understanding that proper customer service would require doing everything in your power to resolve the issue and make the customer happy, THEN ask if they felt the issue was resolved and would mind updating their review. I don't think future customers would trust this company if they knew they were offering people "resolutions" that were contingent upon review removals. How can they trust existing reviews if they knew the bad ones were being manipulated to be taken down? We are unsatisfied their idea of a "resolution" and believe that other customers should be forewarned before shopping at a company that doesn't value them or their experience. We would consider the issue remedied if we were refunded for our total purchase at Brilliant Earth. We mentioned this already and were told that is not going to happen due to "policies" and were asked again if we would "consider the other resolution we discussed" being Brilliant Earth refunds the additional money we had to spend on a new setting in exchange for removing a review and signing papers saying we wouldn't leave any in the future. If the original sales person had kept proper and thorough notes on our first visit like she assured us she would, the wrong size wouldn't have been ordered in the first place and we wouldn't be in this situation. read more

You don't technically buy anything here, it's all done online but it is a very smooth process and I would recommend looking in person as well as sizing in person. You can then pick up in store or have it mailed to your house. Overall I thought they had an excellent collection of contemporary styles. Morganite was new to me. I really like the color (and price). Staff was super helpful and was able to give me some good suggestions (ie you might want an engagement ring that pairs easily with another wedding band you like). But when I got to the door, I rang the buzzer to be let in and it sounded like they were unlocking it but we did this 5 or 6 times and by the 6th time I was just fed up and just left. No one got up to let me in after they clearly saw the door wasn't working. It just felt like a let down and it seemed so uninviting. 1 is as low as this goes and I HATE to do this because maybe it was a fluke.... but my boyfriend and I visited the showroom near us on 5/28/22 and that was an amazing experience. We were looking at engagement rings. We found one we loved and purchased that day. We went back on 6/20/22 to pick up the ring. Stunning. Exactly what I wanted. He proposed on 7/16/22. on the morning of 8/7/22, I was doing laundry and the basket that holds my stone completely popped off of my band where it was soldered together. I was so upset. I called the company immediately and was asked "When do I wear the jewelry" I was a little shocked at that because it is my engagement ring and I always wear it... I was made to feel like it was my fault that after less than a month of wear I did something to cause this. I informed the person that I only take it off to shower and if we are at a water park or kayaking. Needless to say, we purchased a ring for quite a bit of money and I am forced to wear a silicone ring I got myself on amazon. It makes me feel sick and I now feel like I will constantly worry if I have the whole ring or if it is going to break again.
