We recently attended hypnobirthing classes based on a friend's recommendation. We loved our experience and learned so much! Heidi (instructor), Keira (assistant instructor) and the fellow attendees were positive and helpful. We felt welcome, and we loved all the resources provided. You can expect a lot of birth information like anatomy lessons, terminology related to birthing, and comfort measures. Books are provided. There are some meditation and visualization practices-- maybe 10-30 minutes per class. Heidi is very knowledgeable and my birth partner especially appreciated the structure and information. Thank you, Brilliant Births! read more

I'm so glad that I reached out to brilliant births to find our doula for the home birth of our second child. I spoke with a few different doulas and ultimately chose Verana (aka V) for a number of reasons. The first is that our primary support need from a doula this go-round was to care for our 2.5 year old during labor, so it was important to find someone that connected with her and made her feel safe...my daughter LOVES V. During our first meeting, she really focused on listening to her and making her feel like part of the process. Our kiddo was so excited every time we told her V was coming for a visit Another reason was just her overall vibe...such a great listener, not pushy, not timid. It was a great personality match for our family. Because I dragged my feet committing to V, she had scheduled a development opportunity around our due date (which she was totally up front about with us prior to us making our decision). She ensured that we had fantastic back up support in place while she was away...of course, our daughter made her appearance during that time, haha. We were so fortunate that Celia was her backup. We'd met with her once before, and our midwife had actually delivered her son a couple of years ago. Celia was SO amazing with our daughter and she also was able to document our birth with some unbelievable photos. We consider ourselves lucky to have had the chance to work with two wonderful women during our birth experience! read more

This review is for my experience working with Brilliant Births on my placenta encapsulation. I am so happy that I went through BB to do this as I delivered in late December, around Christmas time and Heidi made me feel really confident that across her team, there would be someone available to come to the hospital to pick up my placenta for processing. Her team and process made it SO easy for us. As you know if you have given birth, it can get a little hectic/crazy going to the hospital and then also, needing to have the placenta packaged up to time the pickup correctly to get to your doula for processing. Heidi and Stephanie organized a group text with myself and my husband a few weeks before my due date so my husband could text them when we were heading to the hospital, and again as soon as the baby was born to coordinate the pickup. He said this was a seamless process once our midwife had everything packed up and despite how different hospital policies are during COVID, he said it was easy to get it to Stephanie a few hours after birth. They also dropped off a cooler with supplies inside a few weeks in advance right at our house so we could have it packed in our hospital bag. 2 days later (on Christmas Eve, no less!) Stephanie dropped the encapsulated placenta back off at our house which was so speedy. Most importantly, I loved all of the extras that Brilliant Births include in their placenta package - we got GORGEOUS photos of the placenta (it seriously looked beautiful the way they had arranged it, much more beautiful than how I saw it in a big bucket at the hospital) with a print that we will cherish forever - it doesn't look like a raw organ in the print version, it's something we would definitely hang up in the baby's room - we're hoping to turn it into a "family tree" with everyone's names. I loved that they returned the capsules in the original cooler bag with lactation treats and supplies and some fliers for local resources for postpartum support. They also provided very specific and easy to understand instructions for how and when to take the placenta pills and when I had a question about consumption when I experienced an infection a few weeks later, Heidi was very helpful in her recommendations to me. There can be a lot of logistics involved with encapsulating your placenta and it can be hard to know if the person you are hiring is going to get the timing right and be able to deliver for you - I fully trusted Heidi and her Brilliant Births team from day one and it was so nice to know that everything would be taken care of - it was truly something I didn't have to worry about. Her paperwork, contracts, communication, invoicing and payments are all very professional and easy to understand and she and her team are very prompt in their communication too. read more

This review is about a year-and-a-half overdue, but better late than never. Brilliant Births is a treasure, my partner and I took hypnobirthing with Heidi and worked with Stephanie as our doula for the birth of our son in May 2021. Every element of care was exceptional and helped us have a grounded and fulfilling labor and birth. I've recommended the service to friends who have also had delightful experiences. read more

My wife and I used Brilliant Births as our choice of Doula. We worked with the owner (Heidi) and Celia. Both were wonderful individuals to work with, always available and full of great insider tips. Celia helped us get antiquated with some the ideas of hypnobirthing and make the entire process much easier and natural. She helped us cut through the clutter to learn what was important and empower ourselves. During the birth, she came with us to the hospital and her voice was so soothing for my wife - the same voice that she heard during our meetings with her and some of our practice mediations. In summary - I highly recommend this team. They will help you see clearly through the sea of information out there - helping your birth AND birthing partner be better informed, empowered and comfortable for a huge life event. read more

I am so grateful for Brillant Births! My partner and I were able to take the 1 Day Childbirth Immersive with Thea. She was so knowledgeable and engaging - she held the space in a supportive way, helping to answer all our questions and ease anxieties. I had been having a lot of anxiety in thinking about my labor experience and this class helped to bring me a new sense of calm and confidence. I feel like I have a much better understanding of the birth experience, various options and interventions and have practiced how to advocate for myself and my baby. I appreciate how focused this was on the family and helping to get my partner and I on the same page about our roles in bringing our baby into this world. read more

My overall experience working with Brilliant Births was amazing! They were very quick to respond once I setup time to interview doulas and matched me with a selection of folks that would've all been a good match! Alyssa was my doula and she was amazing, so patient, and a calming force throughout my prenatal and birth. read more

My husband and I are away from family and we were a bit overwhelmed during the first couple of weeks with our baby. We decided to get a postpartum doula (we didn't even know they existed) and Mollie came to the rescue. She helped us cope with some of our issues (never ending crying baby), she explained some tricks and helped us with our first bottle feeding (we wanted to start doing both breast and bottle), explaining how to do it and even shared some thoughts on bottles she recommended afterwards. Mollie spent the night with us. I was very hesitant this would actually help me rest as I thought as soon as the baby cried, I would wake up, but Mollie was so fast addressing her crying that I could sleep most of the night, waking up only to breastfeed and go back to bed. TL;DR: It's totally worth the money. It's amazing what a good night sleep can do for you when you are a new mom/dad. She gave us the energy we needed to keep going! read more

Brilliant Births has been a huge part of my pregnancy and post partum journey, so I'll break up my review into the different services. Birth Doula: We worked with Hannah Addario-Berry and had a fantastic experience. Hannah was very trauma informed and worked to empower us to make our own informed decisions around our birth and aligned wholeheartedly with our vision. Our birth did not go even a little bit as planned, but Hannah was there with us every step of the way as a sounding board and grounding presence. Our hospital wouldn't allow doulas at the time of our birth, but Hannah was available via Zoom and was an incredible supportive presence even remotely. After birth, she has continued to check in and follow up and send resources for post partum healing. In short, she was amazing to work with and we miss our meetings with her!! Private Hypnobirthing w/Heidi: I am so grateful we did this training before birth. It was amazing to have these skills to draw on leading up to birth as well as during the big event! I have continued to use these skills while breastfeeding and for relaxation post partum. The class not only taught comfort measures and coping skills, but also went over what to expect during the early days after birth, as well as super helpful information on breast/chest feeding. Heidi was so knowledgeable and a joy to work with and learn from. Highly recommended! Placental Encapsalation: I had my placenta encapsulated after birth, and the process was a breeze. My husband handed off the placenta to the specialist shortly after our birth and I received the pills along with an adorable mug and book shortly after. I believe they have been instrumental in my healing process. Night Doula Postpartum: We have been working with Heidi as our night doula 2x/week for the past 5 weeks, since my daughter was born. I can't even express how much of a support it has been! Heidi was there for us the night we got home from the hospital and helped me get some much needed sleep after a long labor that ended in C section. Having someone to ask questions about breastfeeding, infant care, and post partum healing has been so reassuring as first time parents, and getting some real SLEEP during these early weeks has been indescribably amazing. My daughter loves Heidi as well, who has such an ease with babies! I was able to feel totally comfortable having her with Heidi so I could actually relax and sleep. I am so grateful for the team at Brilliant Births and so grateful to have them as part of our pregnancy/post partum journey! read more

My first birth traumatized me. I wasn't well enough prepared and in turn have been downright fearing my second. My goal was to have a shorter, less painful delivery and the way I thought I could accomplish that was to learn how to stay relaxed and to have a doula by my side during labor. Heidi and Davon were so comforting and knowledgeable, I knew they would be a good fit. I would never have believed it, but I far succeeded in meeting my goal. They taught me everything I needed to know to have just that birth I wanted to have. When it was over I couldn't stop yelling 'I did it!' and laughing in disbelief. After my first 42 hour birth, my second only lasted 5.5hrs including 3 hours of comfortable early labor. I believe this is because I did the exercises they suggested to do before labor, learned how to relax my body, how to breath through the contractions to help it along, and what moves my husband and I could do to ease the pain on our own. By the time I felt like I was uncomfortable enough to call upon the doulas, it was time to go to the hospital. Honestly things went so fast at that point so it was just my husband and I since my water broke in triage and baby came out 17 min later. No one told me 'push,' I just listened to my body and baby decided when to come. 100% natural and 100% in control. Couldn't be happier. read more

I took an online hypnobirthing course with Isadora and learned so much. As others have mentioned, she is very easy to talk to and so knowledgeable. Her class made a natural, unmediated birth seem possible and not at all like what they show in the movies. 100% recommend! read more

We had a great experience working with Hannah from Brilliant Birth as our prenatal doula. She is on time for each of our scheduled appointment, and it's clear that she has planned ahead for our meetings. And we have always received a follow-up email from her after our meeting. This is extremely helpful since there are A LOT of information for us to learn and many decisions to make. Overall, we really felt that Hannah is working with us every step of the way to achieve our goals. The pandemic has made things harder for new parents like us, but with the great support from Hannah, we felt very well prepared. She was able to answer all of our questions, and she walked us through many different options for labor and how to cope with the pain, stress and exhaustion. She was constantly on zoom with us during labor and kept us informed on what to expect next. I would highly recommend working with Brilliant Birth if you're looking for a doula. From pregnancy to labor to postnatal is like a contious marathon, any help you can get will go a long way. read more

Attended the childbirth prep class - 1 day immersive! It was a last minute decision as I'm a few weeks away from my due date. I am soooo happy that my husband and I were able to attend this very informational course! We learned a ton from Thea who led the class. She was so thorough and answered everyone's questions with ease. She made it fun and engaging which was nice since it is a long day of information. The time went by actually pretty fast to my surprise! Highly highly recommend. You will leave feeling so much more confident and prepared. I feel like I have so many more tools now and a better idea on what to expect when baby is ready to make their debut into the world. Thank you so much Thea for today, we really enjoyed your class and look forward to coming back postpartum to try out some of the other classes offered! read more

We had a great experience even though it was all virtual due to Covid. Stephanie was great and gave us tons of good advice and we were able to ask he all our anxiety questions with quick responses on the day of our babies birth. She tailored our experience to what we wanted and while in the end we didn't need her during the actual birth it was largely because she had helped us prepare so well for that moment. If things hadn't gone as smooth I'm sure it would have been even more valuable. Thanks again! read more

My partner and I took the childbirth preparation course at Brilliant Births with Thea and it was great. We chose to take the 5 week series, and I was really glad we did - saving the time each week to be together and talk and drive to the class and remember that the baby will be coming was a great ritual in and of itself. I was worried the class might be too "hippy" for my partner but it wasn't - there was a great balance of learning lessons from holistic and medical fields accompanied with engaging activities and a lot of time for Q&A. Our one lowlight was not receiving any email communication from the instructor outside of class - a few times they said they would send course materials or connect the group of us students via email and that didn't happen (although our course just ended a few weeks back so maybe there is still hope!). Overall we loved the class - I'd just suggest to future students if you're looking to connect with your group make sure to ask for contact information yourself to make sure you get it! Overall I will definitely recommend Brilliant Births to anyone expecting a baby and myself (and importantly my partner) are now going into our birth more prepared than before! read more

A great experience. It gave me lots of knowledge and tools to keep me grounded though the labor and delivery of my first child. Thank you!

We were so grateful to work with Stephanie and Alyson at Brilliant Births throughout pregnancy and the birth of our son. We connected with several of the doulas at Brilliant Births and ultimately chose to work with Stephanie. Stephanie was AMAZING - one of the reasons we wanted to work with her was because of her foundation and understanding of all the medical elements of a hospital birth. We loved that she would share with us the pros and cons of any potential decision, completely without judgment. Both of her prenatal visits left us feeling confident and equipped for the actual birth, and like we had the tools we needed to make it a wonderful experience. We loved that Brilliant Births also offers a backup doula - Alyson was such a great resource when we needed her. She also made us the most delicious chocolate peanut butter treats...seriously, ask her for the recipe :) . Our birth experience was an absolutely incredible experience, made so much better because we worked with Brilliant Births. I cannot recommend enough. read more

We used them for help with giving birth and postpartum night doula services. Amazing and very professional service for both birth and postpartum doula services. We loved our doulas and hope to use them again for our second child. Highly recommend to everyone. read more

I was very grateful to have the opportunity to work with Heidi at Brilliant Births to encapsulate my placenta. (I also worked with one of their doulas, Nattasha Bender. *Highly* recommended, see separate review). Heidi was incredibly professional, kind, and efficient during all stages of the encapsulation. The website makes it very easy to select the type of services you want. She provided our doula with a cooler and supplies to transfer the placenta (or you can use your own). She finished the encapsulation and dropped it off within a few days of the birth. Even in just that short visit, she radiated warmth and made me feel like everything was going to be okay when I was feeling pretty overwhelmed after just getting home from the hospital. She also made a beautiful placenta print and umbilical cord preservation and accommodated some special requests we made. My recovery was fast and I'm feeling great! Thanks Heidi! read more

Heidi and brilliant births helped us connect with our amazing doula, and prepared our placenta encapsulation. The process was easy, thoughtful, and genuine. Our doula, Marta, gave us the support and guidance throughout our first pregnancy and I'm so thankful to have gone through brilliant births . Looking back and I can't imagine having done it without the support of this amazing team of women. I highly suggest to anyone considering a doula, that it is completely worth it, and especially through brilliant births. read more

My wife and I took the Lamaze Childbirth Class with Heidi and we are so glad that we did. The care and attention that Heidi put into our sessions was far beyond our expectations. Prior to taking the class we had read numerous articles and books on birthing but did not feel like we had a clear idea of how we wanted to approach the birth of our first child. The information and perspectives that Heidi shared was evidence based, clear, and balanced. It really helped us learn about how we make decisions that were right for us and enjoy the process. I would highly recommend her class to anyone and will continue to recommend her to friends going through their first pregnancies. read more

We had a wonderful experience working with Heidi Kate to prepare for the birth of our second child. She was so personable, friendly, supportive and warm and really exceeded my expectations in every way. We were looking for a little different kind of support than a typical full doula package and she was great about offering us a consultation so we could talk through what made the most sense in our situation. I was preparing for a potential induced birth and she was really supportive in helping us figure out how to think it through and come up with a plan for that scenario. In the end, I ended up going into labor spontaneously and not working with Heidi at the actual birth but was very touched that she followed up afterwards to see how I was doing anyway. Would highly recommend brilliant births to anyone looking for birth support. read more

We are so thankful to have met Hannah through Brilliant Births and have her by our side during our first pregnancy. We moved 8mos pregnant which allowed for very little time to go through birthing classes, etc. I really wanted to have an unmedicated birth, but wasn't exactly prepared when we had moved to the Bay Area but the BB team made it happen! Mollie and Heidi were quick to connect us with available Doula's for us to meet with (at which point we met Hannah). Due to COVID and the move I was unable to join HypnoBirthing classes I had hoped to but Heidi worked with my husband and I to develop a birthing crash course per say. Truly an awesome team that went above and beyond to make sure we went into our labor educated and equipped, allowing us to enjoy such a special moment. Hannah graciously squeezed us in for 2 prenatal visits, helped develop our birth plan, taught us a variety of birthing positions and techniques to work through the discomfort. Most importantly she was there guiding us hour by hour through a long labor (making sure my husband stayed hydrated and fed) advocating for what we wanted and when the baby was stuck she knew exactly what position to get me in to get things moving again- that moment itself is why we would highly recommend hiring Hannah! Bonus, she captured every moment of it for us (which was 100% not her role but with limited persons allowed in the room she understood our desire and for photos and delivered!) read more

Heidi put us in contact with our postpartum doula Mollie, and she has been fantastic!! Mollie started working with us about 2 weeks after our daughter was born, and she has done so much more for our family than child care. She's been an amazing resource, guiding us through a big range of questions and issues we faced as new parents. From breast feeding, pumping, and bottle feeding, to carriers (she's a ninja with a boba wrap), and sleep, Mollie always had great advice without pressuring or making us feel judged. I don't know how we would have made it through the early days without her. read more

We signed and worked with Nattasha for our prenatal and postpartum visits, but Alyson was with us for the birth. Both women were fantastic. It takes a very special type of person to do this work and both Alyson and Nattasha were everything we needed: supportive, encouraging, empathetic, knowledgeable, patient and incredibly kind. I highly recommend either of them as well as brilliant births. I would also like to encourage anyone on the fence about using a Doula to absolutely do it. Now that I've gone through a birth I cannot imagine doing it again without a doula. My husband and I were prepared & confident thanks to the prenatal sessions, and during the actual event both my husband and the doula were helping me continuously- hour after hour - tirelessly through every contraction. Don't think twice about it. Do it! read more

A+ birth Doula. Verana was amazing, she was super kind, caring and helpful for pre-birth help, for the birth itself, and for a postpartum visit. Would definitely recommend. read more

Heidi was recommended to us for placenta encapsulation, and was fantastic to work with! She gave us an initial consult to explain the entire process, dropped off the cooler and checked in with us about questions or concerns. We then received an amazing care package that included our encapsulated placenta, the dried umbilical cord in the shape of a heart, some lactation treat samples, and an adorable board book. Heidi continued to check in to see how the placenta pills were working for me. She also gave us information on using Brilliant Births for a postpartum doula if we needed. It was a great experience and we felt very supported and taken care of without even meeting Heidi and getting a very small service from her. read more

We love Heidi. She helped us make our birth so beautiful! She not only helped ya with hypnobirthing but also postpartum and breastfeeding. I was in tears after we came home from the hospital because of the lactation specialists and pediatricians. She sat down with me for a couple of hours and really helped me. Breast feeding is so much more fun now. It also helps that she has such a big heart! read more

We loved working with Heidi! My husband and I unfortunately lost our son in the 2nd trimester and lost several more babies in the 1st trimester, so my pregnancy with our daughter was high risk and very stressful. Given our history and stress levels, we thought we'd need extra support getting through pregnancy, labor, and the first few weeks postpartum. Heidi was wonderful at providing that emotional support and also provided so much information as we navigated various decisions. I ended up being induced and it was wonderful to have Heidi's company through labor. Our daughter's birth was a wonderful experience and we can't imagine it without her. We would recomend her without hesitation - dependable, reassuring, and very knowledgeable! read more

We cannot rave enough about Brilliant Births, Hypnobirthing, Heidi and our doula Alicia! The location, facilities, safety precautions, classes, ambience and community is incredible. Heidi is exceptionally organized, prepared, helpful, knowledgeable, personable and is a phenomenal teacher. We gained SO much through the Hypnobirthing classes led by her. Thanks to her, the class and our amazing doula Alicia, we had the natural birth of our dreams. Alicia provided (partner) yoga classes, birth plan preparation, emotional support, breathwork, massage and more that was instrumental during the prenatal, birthing and postpartum experience. We would HIGHLY recommend her, not only is she an outstanding doula and teacher, but now she is a lifelong friend. We will definitely work with her and Heidi for future pregnancies. Thanks SO much to Brilliant Births Team, the name is spot on! read more

Mollie was amazing. She brought a professional demeanor and knowledge of relevant scientific studies on most if not all of my questions, & the ability to quickly locate and share sources for further information as needed. She had helpful practcalsuggestions for dealing with the difficult last few weeks of pregnancy, labor, and postpartum issues. Her presence during labor was incredibly helpful, calming, reassuring, and also empowering because she made me feel that my needs and desires came first in the birthing process. read more

Heidi and Davon were a real pleasure to work with for my VBAC. I previously had a harrowing birth experience with my firstborn that ended up in unplanned cesarean. This time around with our second child, despite being given a 50% chance of successful VBAC by my OB, I was so glad to have Brilliant Births as part of my support team for helping me work through the trauma of the previous birth and preparing me for a more joyous second birth. The reason I chose Heidi and Davon is because of their combined experience with working with women wanting VBACs. Heidi helped me understand the pros and cons of 'trial of labor' and most importantly, gave me the tools to manage my fears. Moreover, these women are so wonderfully down-to-earth and are truly there to support and empower you. They are respectful, responsive, and caring. My entire view of birth has changed through working with them. My second birth experience was transformative, both for me and my husband. I did have a successful VBAC, thanks to Heidi and Davon! I would recommend them in a heartbeat. read more

I decided to get a doula last minute and was recommended Brilliant Births by a friend. We booked Heidi with a week until my due date. From my first phone conversation, I knew it was a great decision. Heidi provided invaluable service before, during and after the birth. She helped me write my bury plan, made sure I got what I needed/wanted in the hospital, including kicking out a distracted nurse and teaching the hospital staff some helpful tricks. After the birth, she provided lactation and newborn support, giving us tips and recommendations we use constantly. We loved working with Heidi and Brilliant Births. read more

I connected with Brilliant Births right before Covid and thus got to meet my doula Marie Haller one time in person before we had to switch to doing everything virtually. Unfortunately my hospital had a policy that allowed only one birth partner during the birth, so Marie was not allowed to come with me to the hospital when my baby was born in July. Nevertheless, I can't imagine not having had Marie there to support me virtually throughout my pregnancy and throughout my labor. She even got tested for Covid the week before my due date so that she could be on call to come to our house to help me labor at home for as long as possible. Marie is so friendly, calm, nurturing, and extremely knowledgeable. She eased my stress and helped me prepare to have the natural unmedicated birth that I was hoping for. If you are pregnant and looking for extra support during this uncertain time, I highly, highly recommend hiring a doula through brilliant births, especially Marie! read more

We loved our experience with Brilliant Births and our doula Nattasha Bender. As first time parents we didn't know much of what to expect, except for what we've read, but Nattasha went above and beyond to help us feel at ease with in-person and video visits. Her energy and passion for women, birth, and families along with her calm character all came together to help us have an even better birth experience. Even though our hospital only allowed one person in, and I went with my husband, Nattasha helped over the phone and always encouraged us to advocate and do what was right for our birth preferences and family. It was amazing to have her support during pregnancy as well. She is intimately a part of our son's birth story and she feels like family. We feel so blessed to know her and will request her as our doula for any future births. As an added bonus she was very covid safe and professional. Pregnancy and birth were particularly scary as it was the first time, and I felt like she was an extra hand to hold and safe person I could call. We hope our son can meet her one day. read more

I took a Hypnobirthing class with Isadora and it was everything I hoped for and more! The class made me feel so much more relaxed and confident for my upcoming home birth. The class material makes a lot of intuitive sense. It's not a lecture that sounds foreign to you and you have to forcefully memorize. It's also not things that most women (including me) would realize on their own after being conditioned by society/media our entire lives to believe birth and hypnosis are a certain way. It was effortless learning but so so so helpful. For the ladies who may be hesitant because of the term "hypnosis", I don't really see how it's different than deep meditation. Eastern religions have been preaching the spiritual benefits of deep meditation for a very very long time and lots of folks in the medical profession believe in the mind-body connection. Isadora was a wonderful instructor! She's passionate about the spiritual aspect of birth and it shines through with the encouragement and dedication she brings. She's always happy to connect outside of class and promptly sends useful additional resources after each class. She also tailored the classes to be more relevant to the style of birth the class participants were having and the questions we asked. She also has a calm nature which means she doesn't rush through material too fast and the meditation scripts she read would deeply penetrate. We had a fear release session that was so powerful it actually caused a physical reaction from me. I was very impressed. read more

Having Mollie Lam as our doula during my pregnancy experience was the best thing we did for our family. She was an incredible source of information for all things pregnancy & birth, and she was super helpful in the postpartum period as well. Mollie gave us as much evidence-based information as we requested without it ever feeling overwhelming. She was also a great listener, never pushing her thoughts/opinions on us, just supporting our decisions along the way. She presented us with a great outline of what birth would be like, giving us the power to make informed decisions about every step in the process (including things that we didn't even know were options). During labor, we were lucky to have her by our side for the entire time, and it was a long labor! She was great about being my voice when I wasn't comfortable asking for things - snacks, moving positions, etc. She was completely supportive of my birth plan and supported my decisions to change things on the fly during labor. Birth is unpredictable; having someone by your side that will support you and advocate for you is so important. And we are so grateful to Mollie for being that person for us. The postpartum support was so incredible as well. She was responsive to texts and even volunteered to come by to help with breast feeding issues. As a new mom, there is nothing more helpful than having someone who is there to check on you and ensure that you're doing well after labor. If you're thinking about having a doula at your birth - do it. Mollie is excellent, supportive, and incredibly well educated & informed about pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. She will empower you during this time of your life and you will come out stronger on the other side! read more

Working with Nattasha at Brilliant Births was one of the best decisions I made for my birth experience. Nattasha is so knowledgeable and kind and was just amazing, before, during and after the birth of my baby girl. In the home visits before the birth she was thorough in taking notes to come up with a birth plan; what your preferences, questions and needs are. We also went over things we could do to prepare for the birth, from exercises to reading and helping prepare you mentally for birth. During the birth Nattasha was beyond supportive and kind, as well as very present and focused. During my birth she was with me 20+ hours and through the many complications that arose that day and helped me ask the questions I had about the things that came up, I was able to make informed decisions. She was my rock and I would definitely have Nattasha and Brilliant Births on my team if I decide to have another baby. read more
