He and his team worked non stop for almost two weeks. They prepped and painted our ceilings, prep sanded all the woodwork for painting, as well as removed unwanted wallpaper. He and his team are pros through and through. Clear and fair pricing for excellent work. They are trustworthy, will take any type of feed back and input to finish the job to your exact specifications. Even a year later when I found a couple of missed spots, he immediately got back to me and sent someone out to touch up the paint job. The house is perfect, the paint job on the interior and exterior changed everything.

From the outset, Tyler was a great listener and really thoughtful about how to get our house exterior looking just the way we want it. He would tell me if he thought something might not work well (like my too-light color suggestion for our concrete patio) or which colors might not hold up well over time; and then give suggestions on what could work better. He's a true expert on old houses like our 1938 house with original cedar shake siding that has some layers of lead paint. Regarding cost--they were the second-lowest bid out of five bids (probably partly because they are one of the only ones who really listened to our desires and didn't add a bunch of stuff we weren't looking for to the bid) and the only company who was willing to remove & replace all house attachments needed such as trellises and storm windows, including a very large and heavy storm window on our front picture window. Worth every penny of investment to absolutely LOVE how our home looks. Tyler and crew are everything we hoped for...professional, punctual, super hard working, easy to work with, great attitudes; and they paid great attention to detail. Just a bunch of incredibly nice people! We will definitely contract Shades of Rose again for our next painting projects and highly recommend them to anyone who wants painstaking care taken to maintain the original aesthetics of their home (or to update it to a more contemporary look, if that's what you desire)!

They painted our entire exterior when we first met them, and when Tyler was out recently to bid a job, he told me that we did not need to paint the exterior again yet! Talk about loyalty inducing! They painted our 2-story living room when the paint began to "chalk" (gets dusty looking, nothing fixes it, except Shades of Rose) and in 2 days they fixed a problem that was making me embarrassed for two years... Most recently they did a great job painting the front door so it looks good as new. Definitely recommend.

First the good - The main painter on the job (Lucio) was a conscientious and hard worker. He…read moreclearly cared about his work and did a good job. (Thank you Lucio). The main problem - Our house has cedar shingles. The rear of the house is painted, the front is stained - and we wanted to keep the staining at the front. We pointed out to their estimator that some of the stained shingles has caulking marks on them - he told us the stain would cover the marks. He was wrong, but we didn't find that out until they'd finished painting the rear of the house. The team did their best to cover the caulking marks with touch up marker - they look ok from the street, but are very obvious close-up. Had the estimator told us that the stain wouldn't cover these marks, we would have had the whole house painted a single color - but in a different color than we chose for just the rear. There were also some smaller problems - - The quote stated that a porta-potty would be provided - it wasn't. Presumably the quoted price included this. - The quote stated that plants would be covered to protect from spraying - the rhododendron bushes in front of my house now have paint-spattered leaves, and look like they might not survive. - Some of the painters who helped out for just small part of the job weren't very careful - two of my path lights were broken (which they tried to hide by balancing the broken lights on their stands), and someone ripped most of the branches off one rhododendron bush instead of tying them back. - A petrol stain was left on our front path where they refueled their pressure washer. I pointed out these issues to the project manager. I'm very disappointed that no-one from the iTech office has contacted me to apologize, and I can only assume that they don't really care. Therefore I would not recommend them.

From start to finish Randy from Alpine Painting showed professionalism and reliability…read more I met with a few other local paint companies and all of the quotes were within a reasonable range. During our initial meeting I could tell Randy truly wanted to do the work and was confident in his crew and the quality work they would perform. He was very informative, patient and answered all of the questions I had for him. I had a pretty large interior painting job completed and I can say I was left 99% satisfied. I met with a color consultant for advice on colors that would brighten up my home which does not receive much natural light. Randy's crew showed up on time, followed the color plan I had worked up for them, took good care of my home and exceeded my expectations with the quality of their work. They also did a good job cleaning up after themselves. I had a bit of everything painted baseboards, walls, ceilings, doors, window trim, cabinets, fireplace mantle, kitchen island and can say I did not see any corners being cut. No spots were missed, not many drips or overspray was left. 9.8/10 (what can I say I'm a perfectionist). What's an honest review without listing the Cons: The small issues we did run into was my refrigerator was left unplugged for an extended period which caused me to lose everything inside & one of my alarm sensors went missing, most likely in the cleanup process but accidents happen and I'am completely understanding. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone in the area looking to hire professional painters. You will not be disappointed.
