I was kind of overwhelmed with dealing with hospice to get my friend home from the hospital and trying to get her home ready. Mike sent Diane out early the day my friend was coming home. You couldn't ask for a more caring person than Diane. She helped me get my friend's house ready for her to come home. She had the house whipped in shape in no time. During the almost 4 weeks we had my friend at home, Diane would do everything and anything I asked of her. We had some really tough nights those first few weeks. She toughed them out right with me. Diane was very knowledgeable about taking care of a bed patient and was often mentioning concerns to the hospice staff before they mentioned them. I always felt like my friend was in the best hands when I was away. I would highly recommend Mike at Senior Care Solutions and his staff.

Last time, they canceled on me less than 24 hours before and did not provide a replacement. This is the third time I do not have reliable care as scheduled and I have only used this company since mid-September this year. I tried to reach the respite care worker from Comforcare but no answer. I also called and texted the owner Pragna, but no answer or reply either. It is horrible for people who need respite care to sit and wait on someone who isn't going to bother to show up. It's also really hurtful to my daughter who is expecting someone she's really upset now and doesn't understand why "no one came to play" with her. Having to cancel plans is not just inconvenient. It's really devastating. We fight long and hard for our respite hours, and cannot even use them. More importantly, I do not get a much needed break. I also disappoint others when I have plans and then cannot show up because I do not have care for my child. I don't feel that this company takes reliability of their employees very seriously at all. Think twice before you hire someone from Comforcare. If I hear back from Comforcare and they resolve this issue, I will update my review.

Hi, I'm writing this review to inform any family members to think twice before you place your loved…read moreone with Paramount Home Health Care. I had a horrible experience with this company. They were very dishonest about their service from the start. Let me start by addressing the fact that my mother was air med from Louisiana to California, and it was critical that everything was in place before the transport would take place. They lied to the hospital about the equipment being in place just to get the business. The representative had me to tell the hospital that the equipment was in place, due to them promising me that the equipment would be in place hours before my mother would arrived to Ca. They said in doing so, my mother's transport would not be delayed. In the meantime, my mother was transported, hours later, and her wound vac, and the wound vac would not be delivered until days later. It was vital that the wound vac was in place to continue to extract the fluid from my mother's wound, which was a stage 4 ulcer. instead, the wound was collecting excessive fluid, which could have made the wound more susceptible to developing an infection. When we received the wound vac; it was not working properly. also, the prescription formula that was required for my mother's wound did not arrive, and two weeks later my mother still have not received. They supplied her with the over the counter formula. I'll explain below. I have had to deal with the wound vac issues, as well as my mother not receiving her proper tube feeding formula for two weeks. I felt like once my mother was accepted into their organization the caring went south. I had to contact the wound care company and the company that supply her feedings to rectify the problems myself to get results. They shared with me that Paramount was not submitting the proper information that they had been requested weeks ago prior to me calling. When they shared this with me; i was in disbelief how the company could be so negligent with the service that they should be providing to my mother. They need to hire qualified employees that are knowledgeable in these crucial areas. I would also like to share that the nurse would be hours late. For e.g. The nurse would say that he would arrive at 4:00 and he wouldn't show up until 9:30, over 5 hours later. When I reported it to the representative who lied about the equipment being installed, shared with me that the nurse should never come to a patient's house that late, unless requested by the patient; and that all nursing visits should be done by 5:00. The other issue i would like to share is that they will not supply me with enough supplies. My mom would have multiple bowel movements, due to the tube feedings. They would only send out one pack of wipes, one pack of pads and a small box of gloves when I questioned them about the lack of supplies being sent; there reply was, they didn't have any in their warehouse. They never ever supplied us with enough supplies even when they were fully stocked. In closing, we requested to be signed up with another company. They shared with me that their company was small. Although, the company is small, they should have never chosen to take on more patients than they were equipped to care for. I think the company need to hire more help, and make sure they are hiring compassionate people that are there for your loved one and not for the money. This company seemed to have been all about collecting from medical (California). Remember, the equipment rental, food, and medicine is paid for by Medicare and Medical. I hope my experience with this company has enlighten you. I rate this company with a 1 star. They really need to improve their services before taking care of anyone's loved one.

I find myself torn between keeping a strong face and tears often. Sometimes you simply need others who can help carry the burden of loss. My beautiful friend deserves patience, love, and dignity. I feel good knowing we have someone who isn't afraid to speak about the hard truths, while completely allowing us to make the decisions that are right for our family. The team at Paramount is amazing. The nurses I met were completely focused on the wellbeing of their patients. I think one of the best things we did was find a hospice provider early in our journey. I feel empowered and educated to handle what is coming.

When we get a call from a nurse and set up an appointment for the following day and then she doesn't show or call, it's neglect. I had to change the bandage myself with the only set of supplies provided me by the wound center, so there is no coming back when you feel like it. My regular nurse, Mimi, has always provided excellent care. I had a problem with Maria day one. She didn't want to show at the time I requested and then didn't show at all on the day we scheduled. Very poor customer service and care.
