They also cleaned and tightened the stones in one of my rings and did beautiful work on it. While I was there, we spoke about family, food, shared friends and acquaintances. This is an outstanding "gem" of a local business that I will gladly go out of my way to patronize.

I wanted a cushion cut stone, so she was able to pull many different stones in my price range and I found one that I absolutely loved. The fact that I had to wait a few years for my fiancé to finally propose and receive my dream ring is beside the point. It was worth the wait! I live in California now, but she is still my jeweler of choice. Over the Christmas holiday I was in town and I came back to Rachel for a smaller project - shortening the chain of a delicate 14k gold necklace. She took the time to help me find the exact length I wanted it shortened and then she is shipping it back to me when it is completed. I can't believe how many different style dresses they had packed into this little space. It is definitely a welcome shop to our town. I was greeted at the door by Martin and Rachelle, the owners of the shop. They welcomed me and my sister, took our coats, and made us comfortable as they inquired a few more details as to what I was looking for. On the previous day I spoke with Rachelle via phone to schedule the appointment and give some thoughts I had on dress style. She and Martin took that information and pulled a few dresses prior to my arrival. I was given a comfy seat in the pretty little dressing room and a silky robe to wear while Rachelle brought the dresses in one by one. My sister and Martin shopped the store for other options while I got started trying things on. Rachelle was very kind and adjusted the dresses, provided kind opinions and insight, and did not push me in any direction. Martin offered his styling input and quickly brought belts and sashes to add to the gowns. While I haven't decided on a dress just yet, I was not made to feel like I had wasted Rachelle and Martin's time. They even hugged me as I left! I had lovely shopping experience and would highly recommend any bride try the local shop first.
