I didn't like a shelf so close to the floor, because I wanted to be able to clean under it, with ease. I also wanted the shelf to be 14" below the drawers, so that my CPAP machine could reach my bed. When it was delivered, those instructions were on the bill, and yet, they still didn't adhere to instructions. They did not communicate with me, unless I called and called. I paid nearly $600 for this sofa table, so I expected to get what I ordered. I was so tired of hassling with them, that I chose to keep the piece, rather than wait another 3 months. I will not shop at The Granary again.

Immediately, I was beyond impressed with the hometown feel, kind service, and personal attention that was paid to me and my project right away. The interior designer there was SUPER knowledgeable and helped me take the samples that I had originally picked out at the other store, and find comparable materials for my home. She also helped me to learn more about which items would look best together (different types of flooring with the paint that I had already chosen, etc). Within an hour, we had products all picked out, and within 2 hours, they had someone out at my house to do a measure so that they can provide me with an accurate estimate (the other store charged me $35 to send someone out for a measure and I had to schedule them about a week out). The Homeworks estimate came out to be a couple THOUSAND dollars LESS than the other store and they were able to begin the installation work right away (the other store estimated about a month out). Everything with Homeworks was 100% included in the estimate. Shawn came out and did all the installation work and IT IS GORGEOUS! I love everything about the flooring selections and how beautifully it was installed. The other store was going to charge me for everything and I was going to have to un-hook and re-hook the appliances, take out the toilet, and pay a separate charge for them to carry the materials from the delivery truck (which I would have paid a delivery fee to have driven there) into the house. They were literally charging for every possible thing, individually. None of that with Homeworks. They price they gave me for the total included every aspect of the job. I am so beyond happy that I stopped in Homeworks on that day. I'm so glad I decided to shop local and will ALWAYS recommend Homeworks to any of my friends and family in the Bowling Green, OH area.
