They have two locations during the holidays - their main store is off of Chinden and the holiday pop up is in the Village in the old Charming Charlie location. During the holidays they only have holiday decor plus a few big pieces like coffee tables and chairs. So if you're looking for every day house decor - wait until after the holidays. They do carry some local makers (soaps, wood cutting boards, ornaments, etc). But there is plenty of large scale manufacturing items. Prices are mid range - not terribly expensive but you probably won't find any great deals either. The staff who work here are sweet and helpful, though none of them were masked when I went into the Village location Nov 2020. Overall, pretty cute but you won't find anything super unique.

Handmade Idaho…read more Handmade Idaho opened in 2019 with the goal of featuring and supporting local artisans, some of who make food products. They have an Annual Holiday Pop-Up. The rest of the year, you can order from their website. This year, the Handmade Idaho pop-up is at Boise Town Square Mall, located on the ground floor level, between Banana Republic and Lolli-Pop. It will be there through December 26. On 12/15/21, KM and I went to check out it out. KM left with a large bag full of gifts for friends and family. I got a ceramic Squirrel piggy bank from one of my favorite local artists. We went as part of a Yelp Elite Experience that included a Hot Chocolate Bar, 20% off of an item and a swag bag. But if we had known this store was in the mall, that would've been enticement enough. Whether you're looking for artisan food products or last-minute gifts, Handmade Idaho has just what you're looking for. Handmade Idaho has a FB page. Highly Recommended!!!

Looking for the golden nutcracker is an amazing event. What is disappointing is the lack of French cookies and chocolates especially for the Christmas season. One of the best well known traditions in France for Christmas and New Year's are Papillotes. They are French chocolate confections, traditionally filled with nuts, fruit paste, or nougat, and individually wrapped in foil or paper. They are a popular Christmas treat in France, with each package typically containing an assortment of different flavors and a small message inside, like a fortune cookie. One popular brand is Révillon, yet absent from the shelves at World Market. I appreciate the Bonne Maman jams Advent Calendar but that's it. There's a tremendous opportunity here for World Market to have more French chocolate and candy offerings. The Provence is famous for their nougats and they would be an excellent addition to the assortment. Looking for a cool gift idea, pop-up Christmas card, English shortbreads or KitKats from Asia, World Market has it but they don't have any Papillotes from France.

It says prices start at $39, but that's just for the cheaper metal. anything gold filled starts around $64. I added a charm on mine which was an additional $40 which I thought was outrageous but I went ahead and did it cause I was getting bracelets with my friends and figured it was just a one time thing. The shop was cute, and the owner was really nice but I will be looking for a less expensive spot for permanent jewelry next time. One spot on my bracelet was fused a little wonky so it doesn't lay properly (I wish I would have noticed right away so I could tell the lady immediately.) I can't go back and have her fix it cause I live out of town. Not to mention the two spots where it was fused are black.. very disappointing considering I paid $110 for my bracelet. I also wanted to mention that I have very sensitive skin so need things to be gold plated or gold filled at the very least, which is why I couldn't consider the sterling silver or cheaper options. Even tho I opted for the more expensive gold filled chain, I noticed my skin feeling a little irritated here and there.
