Upon entering the store I was hit with a wave of pungent perfume. Once I regained my composure, I realized I was in a sea of white women; many of whom were radiating real "Karen" vibes as they say. We looked around for a while; none of the employees greeted us once, apparently, they'll only say hello if you're at the cash register. We even looked at items directly left to the registers and I looked over at them and they looked at me as if I was a vagrant. That's kinda funny considering I was wearing a very expensive jacket & had several hundred dollars in my wallet. In the end, they didn't have what my mom was looking for, so we left. I'm glad we did because throughout our shopping experience, I heard numerous customers make snide remarks about people in California and how they "need to go back where they came from" Bigotry has no place in Idaho!

And now we're going to be late. He thought of using suspenders, but we didn't have any. So, I looked at Kohl's online and it showed that they had them at this store. Because we were already late and in a big hurry, I decided to call the store. I called the store, asked for the men's department, and got Scott. Scott was the most polite and helpful person ever with his "yes ma'ams." I said "Scott, I need a huge favor" ... and I told him the story and asked him to get the suspenders and put them at the checkout for us because we were already late. And he was on it. We got to the store, kid ran in, suspenders were at the checkstand and he's set. Now we're in the parking lot trying to put on the suspenders. And we're late, and we just cannot get these things on, and they keep popping off him. So, my son run's back in to the store to see if someone in there can help him. And they did. The lady paged for someone, couldn't get a response quick enough, so she did it herself. (We didn't get her name.) We were super grateful for the extremely accommodating and eager-to-please/assist customer service that we received from this Kohl's. Side note - the suspenders were on sale, and it showed a promo code online. So, the kid showed the bar code at checkout to get the additional % off. Kohl's has great sales too.

It says prices start at $39, but that's just for the cheaper metal. anything gold filled starts around $64. I wish the prices were a bit more transparent online, because it still ended up being pretty pricey. The shop was cute, and the owner was really nice but I will be looking for a less expensive spot for permanent jewelry next time.
