My experience with Suburban Door was frustrating from start to finish. They had no-shows on the scheduled installation day, and they even ordered the wrong-sized doors after taking three separate measurements. To make matters worse, the ProVia screen door frames arrived damaged. Instead of standing behind the product and resolving the issue, I was told by ProVia that the damaged frames could simply be "touched up." Who wants to pay for brand-new screen doors that already need repairs before they're even installed? Suburban Door then had me meet directly with the manufacturer to point out the damage and essentially plead my case. Isn't that what I hired Suburban Door to handle? I am **their customer**, not the manufacturer's. I wasted countless hours, took time off work, and dealt with unnecessary stress over what should have been a straightforward installation. No customer should have to go through this experience when purchasing new doors for their home. I would not recommend Suburban Door based on my experience.

I stressed the importance of this for my 2020 Subaru Impreza, which the tech assured me they were trained and efficient in this. I canceled my appointment with Safelite, which gave me a 1 year guarantee that if the camera wouldn't calibrate as promised they would put new and different glass OEM on my car. Needless to say because of the $600 savings, I went with Kosin. Their glass is spectacular, their speed was great, but then sorry your eyesight doesn't work anymore.... I asked to have the old glass put back in, but it had been thrown away. They ensured me the car was fine to drive as-is, and let me leave without paying. They allowed my word to be good, that if at least the glass and car drove fine I'd pay for the work down, which was now down from $885, to just $625. They offered to order OEM glass, but that I would have to pay the difference another $640 dollars, but THEY still refused to say the eyesight would calibrate or that they could get it. Now I feel kinda stuck, having to drive my car as-is. They're lucky I kept my word on paying them for the glass, as part of me felt like I shouldn't pay. Now, if the car ever needs to, I have to go to the dealership.. Which they told me I'm looking at NEW glass and camera work... $1600... I recommend Kosin's Glass for speed, and price, but only if you need glass. They tell you they can handle calibration and are trained to work on Subaru... they aren't. I wish I would've spent the $1200 with Safelite, as they were able to promise and guarantee the camera calibration. That $1200 also included wiper blades, cabin air filter, rain repellent, 1 year guarantee on the calibration, and lifetime on the install of the windshield. Safelite is always recommended by Hodge's Subaru here in MI. OEM glass, and knowing the right people to go to is crucial. But, at least my car still drives fine. A+ on the glass, and work. F on the "We calibrate these cameras all the time" sales pitch.

I purchased a garage door opener from Rashid Garage Doors on November 21, 2024. I used them because…read morethey installed my old opener twenty years ago. When the young man came out and installed my opener which was a LiftMaster power by myQ. Once he installed the opener, he was unable to pair my myq video keypad. He said this was not something they know how to do (which I found odd). I said I would try pairing it myself. In the meantime, I did call Rashid Garage back with a few questions. However, I had my godson to help me with pairing the keypad. This did not work, and we ended up getting the opener offline and had to call Liftmaster Support who tried to walk him through the process. We had no luck and had to manually close the garage door. I called Rashid Garage Doors to see if I could get someone out here to check the opener. I tell you when I called, I got Pat, the front desk person. Immediately when I told her what I was calling about she got rude with me and said, "I have never had anyone have as many problems with their opener as you". This really ticked me off. I told her that was not true. When first called it was to check my old opener which they informed me needed to be replaced and the second time I called was to give them the business. After it was installed, I had a few questions which should not be a problem to call for answers. When I got off the phone with her after she said we have no one to come out today and she would have Christiam call me when she comes in, I felt so emotionally upset and was in tears after the call. After I thought about it, I decided to call someone else to come out and look at it. I called Global Garage Repair and Installation and told them what the problem was. His name was Terrell Thomas. I told him my situation; he had other appointments but worked me in and came right out and did a fantastic job. I called Rashid Garage Doors back and got Pat again who was still very rude and did not want to give me a chance to voice how I felt. She hung up on me and I called back. She said I was being rude to her, which I was not. I was letting her know how she made me feel. She then said she was sorry. I told her it was none of her business if I had to call there a hundred times I should not have to be treated and talked to that way. Actually, no one needs to be talked to the way she speaks to customers. I read some of the other reviews and quite a few mentions of the rude person at the front desk. I am sure they were referring to Pat. Pat is either underpaid, overworked or just doesn't give a dam. She then again said rudely we have no one to come out today and if they do come out you will be charged a service fee because this is not warranty work (how dare you tell a customer you just installed an opener they will have to pay a service fee). I told her no need to have anyone to have anyone come out or Christian to call me back. I would rather pay someone else a service fee than do anymore business with Rashid Garage Doors. I will take my business elsewhere. I hope Mike the owner reads this and takes note that Pat is taking his business to a very low level. For the number of years, you guys have been in business you should have more than 44 reviews. I am also going to see if I can report this to the better business bureau. They should be report. A very dissatisfied customer!

I think I spoke with Nicole on the phone, and she was very helpful. She was always prompt to check on things (like a time for the visit, and confirmation that the job was done) with the technician and got back with me as agreed each time. Nicole relayed that the technician said it wasn't easy, but he got the door open and the spring replaced. She also said that he warned us that the door opener is old and will probably need to be replaced instead of repaired next time. If you find yourself with a garage door stuck open..or shut...
