Run as far and as fast as you can unless you want your device held hostage until you are completely…read moreok having your device held hostage while the tech accesses and enters their own SELF-REVIEW ON YOUR PHONE, while you stand there DEMANDING THEY STOP WHATEVER THEY ARE FURIOUSLY DOING SOMETHING WITH YOUR PHONE LONG AFTER WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED. This young man, SABBIR, refused to stop speed-typing, scrolling, even with increasing more forceful demands to STOP. I did get a "one moment" index-finger gesture while Shabbir continued! He had my phone for a least a full minuted while I and demanding, leaning over counter to see what he was typing and the scrolling. Finally, he stood up, stepped up to counter, both hands gripped holding MY phone, rotates so screen is facing me, his right index finger now pointing to my phone's screen and there he had pulled up a Google review screen, MY name entered as though it was my Google account and he had given himself a 5-star review. SCREEN REPLACEMENT FOR IPHONE 15PRO not even TEMU quality!! Sabbir's older brother, Movarek Shebab, admitted days later he had had words with his younger brother over this criminal act of refusing return of phone with repeated demands. Refused to honor warranty. Demanded someone NOT Sabbir to either properly calibrate their crap screen or replace it. No show when I returned to store on Wednesday and even after Walmart manager met with Sabbir & had to demand name & number of actual manager after he repeatedly lied. Then after I had to finally have that nonworking POC screen replaced at the Apple Store after checked out by Best Buy Geek Squad and diagnostics confirmed phone itself registered no issues, our last day in Jax I returned to the store, demanded Sabbir get his manager in the store or on the phone--I was not leaving until! Spoke to Shebab on his brother's phone set to speaker and my phone right there next it as I said, I'm recording and pressed the record button, Sabbir standing right there. To stop further legal action, just refund my money. APPLE keeps all screens they remove, even if new crap not damaged! THEY were provided with all evidence but refused to refund. Now let the chips fall where they may as APPLE was notified, in turn they advised filing police report (which was already on my next to do and then FCC. It was JAX sheriff's deputy who also advised filing formal complaint on line with the FTC, which that is now done! You're better off wrapping cracked screen with clear wrap until you get it to a REPUTABLE shop that BACKS up their product and warranty and don't commit blatant crimes by confiscating your phone! They say first time for everything but this was just beyond over the moon. AVOID TALK N' FIX in that Jacksonville, Fl area. There is more than this store so maybe others NOT connected to these two brothers are ok but I wouldn't trust these two with looking after their own mother.

I have a Motorola Edge 2022 256Gb Cellphone that I purchased with a bent screen. I came in with…read morethe cellphone and a new replacement screen and spoke with Mike. He told me he would give me a call the next day with an estimate of the repair. He quoted me a fair price of $75 to replace the bent screen with the new screen. The next day he called me and said the phone was ready. I picked it up and it works great, just like new. Many Thanks! Highly Recommended!! Mark C.

This man means well but has a lot to learn about professional accountability and customer…read moreinteraction. I took a phone in yesterday with a cracked screen in order for him to replace it. After he replaced it, I noticed that the battery would no longer hold a charge, and would continuously reboot every 2 minutes while plugged in. None of this occurred prior to handing the phone over to him, the battery operated completely like normal prior his "fix". He denied responsibility and argued with me for a whole hour while he was trying to figure out what was wrong with the battery. He even claimed that my phone was crappy and its battery was already bad by the time I gave it to him which is not the case at all. It held a charge and it certainly didn't try to keep rebooting while plugged in. Basically, he simply didn't believe me, and never considered or accepted the possibility that he may have damaged the charging port or battery connection, or motherboard component when replacing the screen because he said they were separate systems. He also said that because he "couldn't test the battery" before replacing the screen, he "did not know how well it worked" before the screen replacement, which was his way of insinuating that the battery was already bad and I'm using this as a ruse for a free fix for a pre-existing issue. Thing is, he actually could have tested the battery if he wanted to before opening the screen, it was still holding a charge and working even with a busted screen. But he didn't and he was using this as an excuse to avoid accountability. I saw that he wasn't going to be able to figure it out any time soon and I had to catch a flight so I demanded a refund. He refused, and kept on arguing that the screen replacement had nothing to do with the charging port or battery and his only argument for not having anything to do with it is that he's replaced many screens and "you're the first customer who's had this issue". Well guess what? I googled "iphone se won't charge properly after replacing screen" and literally the first result was an iFixit thread with over a dozen answers from people experiencing the same issue, with one user saying it's happened 8/8 times they've done screen replacements on the SE. The most common explanation from reading the threads is that he dislodged a connection called FL2400 in the logic board, which is common when applying too much pressure from the wrong side of the battery connection with a spudge tool. He could have figured this out in 2 minutes by doing a simple google search but instead chose to argue that he had nothing to do with it; I only found this explanation later at the airport. It was only after I threatened to write this review that he agreed to issue me a refund. But not before removing the fixed screen, and re-attaching the old broken screen. If he didn't issue the refund, this review would be 1 star, but this is the outcome I'm left with: I gave him a phone once and he made it worse. I gave it back to him a second time to rectify that mistake and he returned it in even worse condition. I used to have a cracked screen iPhone that held a charge and was still usable. Now I have a cracked screen iPhone that doesn't hold a charge and is effectively useless. And while I did get my $80 back, I lost 1.5 hours of my time and countless words of arguing to a man who was careless in his trade and in utter refusal to consider that mistakes like these are possible for him, let alone take responsibility for them. I suggest anyone reading this to take their phone to a more professional operation, both in terms of technical skill and people skills. (FYI, the first 5 star review below is fake. It's by the business owner himself. His name is Mike, I know because it's on his business card. As far as I know this is the first real review)
