Afterwards, we were consulted on everything that occurred and were given valuable information on what other steps we could take. I really appreciate Dr Cohen taking her time to discuss with us everything and both sides asked and answered questions. She was very kind and as our first vet to come across, she didn't make us feel worried and eased our stresses. The standard of care here was very amazing and I have no worries coming back here in the future for invaluable pet care.

On the basis of recommendation, we went ahead with the booster but the this office made a error in reading all the documents I provided (they did take all the coduments and made copies of them). My puppy didn't need to have another booster for a year. Spent money on unnecessary procedure and I felt so guilty for putting my puppy through a shot he didn't need. On top of that, they asked me to come back in a month later for ANOTHER BOOSTER SHOT!! They are very eager to schedule your next appointments but wasn't competent to take proper care of my puppy.

The last thing you want when your fur baby is suffering is to reach voicemail after voicemail. Hearing a compassionate human voice on the other end of the phone brought me so much comfort. She came to my home first thing the next morning. I was worried about my younger Golden Retriever jumping on her or interfering with her care, but she was absolutely wonderful with both of my dogs. She encouraged him to stay in the room with us once he was comfortable with her, and I truly believe that helped him understand what was happening. She was incredibly professional, but I'll never forget one small moment. Out of the corner of my eye, while I was saying my final words and paying my last tributes to my girl, I saw her quietly wiping tears from her eyes. As a healthcare provider myself, I know how often we're expected to wear a mask and stay composed. Seeing that genuine emotion didn't make her seem less professional, it reassured me that she truly cared. In those final moments, your mind races. You question whether you're making the right decision. Seeing her emotion gave me peace because I knew she wasn't simply going through the motions. I knew that if she believed my girl wasn't ready, she would have told me. Most of us are fortunate enough to experience this kind of heartbreak only a few times in our lives. She carries families through it over and over again. That takes an incredible amount of compassion. I always say to people I give her card to: "you will discover she is an Earth Angel - if she moved to a different town, I'd take my pup there... When you find a great vet, they are Gold! Besides all the regular check ups, Dr G. has performed 2 substantial surgeries on my pup in the last 8 years, and has been extremely kind, providing valuable reassuring step-by-step updates throughout, especially aware that I had lost my beloved first dog, (with a different vet), when he did not make it through the anesthesia... In the 8 years Dr G. has been our one and only vet; everyone I have sent to Dr G. has fallen in love with her, and has thanked me for the referral. I trusted Dr G and her small compassionate team with the euthanasia of my precious second dog, Handsome. She is truly an Angel on Earth. At her Chatsworth location, I love that she's created a lovingly cozy "home environment" for the euthanasia experience. That it so needed during that deeply emotional time, and more veterinary offices ought to follow her example. I found her many years ago when I was dissatisfied with a busy veterinary front desk in Sherman Oaks, after they had made errors in my first dog's chart. I've been bringing my dog to this hospital for four years, thinking he was getting great care until…read morenow. What happened during his recent dental cleaning was beyond unacceptable. Dr. Valencia called me mid-procedure, saying my dog had lost four teeth during the cleaning and that another needed to be pulled due to the risk of infection, which could spread to his eyes or heart. She made it sound like if I didn't approve, my dog's life would be at risk. Panicked, I agreed. Immediately after, I called my vet friend in another state, who advised me not to approve the extraction. When I called the hospital back just five minutes later, they had already pulled the tooth and somehow, yet another one had "come out" as well. That brought the total to six teeth lost in one day. I brush my dog's teeth daily, so it's hard to believe they just "fell out." And after all that, they still expected me to pay $588. This experience was beyond disappointing it was devastating. I trusted this place for years, but now I regret ever coming here. He is only 4 years old and this has been a nightmare. i absolutely do not recommend going to this place ever again.

Dr. Pimentel and the tech Priscilla were very sympathetic and explained all the steps. Chase was hospitalized for 3 days. Priscilla followed up with me during the day and took care of him very well. Chase also developed pancrititis which they caught on follow up blood work. I was able to bring my dog home today. Although it cost a lot of money, it was worth saving my dogs life.
