When my daughter and I pulled up, I'll admit it felt a little sketchy at first -- it's in a commercial building that doesn't really look like a dental spa from the outside. But once we got inside, we were pleasantly surprised. The place was very clean, the equipment looked brand new, and everything felt professional. Lady was incredibly sweet and made us feel comfortable right away. You do have to pay upfront, but honestly, it was worth every penny. He began by learning the goals I had for my teeth and tailored an approach to those goals. Using images of my teeth he detailed what he's seeing, why it's a risk, how big of a risk it is, and most importantly how to address it. Other dentists I've visited simply suggested to do X,Y,Z but Dr. Rosales really showed exactly WHY he's recommending work. - Results: I couldn't be happier with the results. It was quickly apparent that Dr. Rosales' work addressed exactly what he identified as a risk in my first appointment. The team that provided dental care to me was kind and welcoming. They made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. My hygienist was Bruce. He was personable and easy to have a conversation with. He and the dentist (can't remember her name, but she was very kind) were thoughtful, patient, and explained everything thoroughly. They made sure all of my concerns were addressed. What really stood out was the personalized care. They looked at my specific needs and made recommendations that were affordable and made sense. I appreciated that they focused on what would work best for me instead of giving generic recommendations. Additionally, I need to have a crown due to a fractured tooth. I already knew this might come up because a previous dental office had mentioned it. However, that dental office wanted 2 1/2 times the amount out of pocket than Oceanic Dental. They provided a print out of the work to be done, how much would be billed to my insurance and how much was my responsibility. Best of all, they left it to me to make the decision on when and didn't try to persuade me. It was a completely pressure free experience. You can tell the staff values their patients and wants every visit to be a positive experience. Their attention to detail and genuine concern for patient care made a lasting impression. The only con here is that the parking can be difficult during very busy times.
