Warning: Sensitive Teeth? Please read. I'm not one to shy away from a good teeth-whitening adventure, but my recent experience was more "ouch" than "ahh." After years of slaving away with home whitening kits (think: tedious repetition and questionable results), I decided to take the plunge and try a professional service. The reviews were glowing, and I was sold. The business itself was a breath of fresh air; clean, calming, and staff as friendly as a dental hygienist on a sugar high. My "whitener" (I love that term) walked me through the 1.5-hour process, warning me that dehydration could lead to discomfort. I nodded, confident in my ability to guzzle water like a camel. The first two rounds were a breeze. But, dear reader, the third round was where things took a turn for the worse. "Zingers" - that's what they called the sharp, painful blasts in my gums. I called it "agony." It started with a single, alarming jolt, followed by a fireworks display of discomfort (minus the festive atmosphere). I high-tailed it to the sink, rinsed, and chugged water like it was going out of style. The zingers eventually subsided, and I was left with a sparkling smile - or so I thought. Fast-forward four hours, and I was sitting in a restaurant, feeling like I'd been cast in a real-life episode of "Naked and Afraid" - minus the rugged outdoors, but with a healthy dose of tooth agony. My nerve endings were doing the cha cha slide, and I was regretting my life choices. The pain was so intense that I resorted to a multi-pronged attack: I brushed, I rinsed with ACT, I applied the "hydrating" gel they provided, and I even busted out the Sensodine (because, why not?). Ibuprofen was my new BFF. Eight. Long. Hours. That's how long it took for the pain to subside. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was one of the worst nights of my life. And, spoiler alert: the whitening effects didn't even last. My teeth are now back to their natural, slightly stained state, and I'm okay with that. In fact, I'm more than okay - I'm thrilled to be coffee-sipping and wine-savoring without the risk of teeth-induced torture. 5 stars! Everything went well. My teeth just weren't getting white and I go to the dentist four times a year. Age and coffee will do it. The place is very clean and on task. The location is on the edge of a not so good area but they have a parking lot and you get buzzed in. Just be aware. I am soooooo trilled with how my teeth look. I went from shade 24 to 12 and just did a touch up. I had gone down to 14, still nice, and now I am a 9. It was a no brainer for me to purchase the yearly program as I can go in every 2 months. I should be able to get to shade 6 and keep it up. BTW....I am 67 and the older you are your teeth just start getting yellow at the gum line on lower teeth. I also drink coffee. If you are young one treatment might be enough. You get to sit in a padded egg chair....bring your AirPods and you listen to your own items but they also have nice music playing. read more

Got this done as a birthday present. Noel was my technician and she was absolutely great! She was super knowledgeable, professional, and very pleasant....a pro. She answered all my questions, walked me through everything, etc. Inside was very nice (not that the outside looks bad, it's just kind of unassuming), had no idea it would be that beautiful and clean inside. Very comfortable place to spend an hour or two in. Parking: if you're coming from the beach, the lot is right past the office - you can easily fly by this if you're not paying attention (I wasn't apparently haha). I thought the price was very fair, and if you're curious and interested in more than one visit, ask them about their membership (the prices were really reasonable, and it seems like a great bet if you wanna go regularly). I included a picture of my before and after. Keep in mind: results vary from person to person. If you start off with fairly white teeth, your results may not be super dramatic or as noticeable as others (they tell you this of course, and it's logical). **last tip: I did the 90-minute session. Highly recommend the teeth whitening lab! I get married tomorrow and thanks to them, my teeth are so bright. It did not take long at all. The facility is very clean. When you arrive, ring the doorbell and they will open the door. This facility is located in Long Beach near downtown area. I am not sure how the parking situation is, but I rode my electric scooter to the facility from Orange County and so they allowed me to charge my scooter while I was getting my teeth done which I really appreciated! Once inside, they will set you up with a little comfy pod. They check you in, have you fill out some information, and then they come back with water and chapstick and all of the supplies needed for the whitening. I selected to do the 90 minute session, so it was broken down into 3 parts. After 25 minutes under the blue lamp with the whitening gel on my teeth, I would go rinse my mouth out and they would reapply new whitening gel. I was told that they do it in increments due to the oxidation. There were two others getting their teeth whitened while I was there and it was super easy. I left with aftercare instructions, whitening gel to take home, a mineral solution to put on my teeth, and my new cute chapstick. They were super nice in there, super clean, and non-judgmental. I was looking to whiting my teeth for sometime now and I seen this spot as I was driving by and I decided to look them up online and give them a call. From the moment I called I felt that comfortable. Angel was knowledgeable, friend and was not in a rush to get off the call with me. He answered all my questions and gave me all the info I needed.
