The solar installers were very complimentary. Communication with them was great during the quoting and scheduling process. Their pricing was good. Not the cheapest, but less than half of two other companies. They also didn't use the high-pressure tactics some others used when asked to quote. The one thing I would make sure is to ask about payment mechanisms ahead of time. I ended up writing a check instead of using my credit card. That was unexpected. Aside from that, I am very happy with the results and will use them again for both the roof, and to clean the solar panels when the time comes.

Cole was incredibly responsive which is always a great sign. Not only was scheduling a breeze, but Cole arrived exactly when he said he would, explained the process and products he uses, confirmed he is licensed/insured and OSHA trained, and overall was extremely professional and personable. I especially appreciated the before and after photos, the panels look brand new!! We should've called Cole months ago, can't imagine how much energy we could have produced if we did! Here are the pluses and minuses of my experience. Pluses: * Rapid and courteous response to my initial request * Quick turnaround for an appointment * Quoted me a 2 hr arrival window, which they met. * Affordable service. * Patio is nice and clean and he cleaned splashes from the adjacent windows/ doors. Minuses: * I had told them about my pool right next to the patio, but Brooks didn't take any special attention to prevent some dirt and sand from entering the pool (e.g, putting down plastic film). Nor did they provide a method for cleaning it afterwards, which led to clogging the pump intake line, requiring a lot of effort on my part to clear. * On the patio itself, I needed to use a blower to remove residual stuff that the power wash didn't deal with. Ideally, they would have done that as part of the service. I would give them 3.5 stars if that was an option: I feel 3 is too harsh. 4 is probably a bit generous given what I needed to do afterwards. So, be wary if you have a pool nearby that they offer you a solution to prevent crap getting in it.

Communication before the job was very good and the quote was in line with the price. I'm very pleased with the work. This was not your average gutter and roof cleaning project. There were layers of pine needles on the roof and in the gutters. The gutters are a weird design and built into the eaves. He had to work from underneath and from the house side to get to them. The downspouts were completely clogged with pine needles. He had an amazing array of tools and hoses that made the job possible. It had not been cleaned in decades. They were weeds growing out of the top of the gutters and onto the roof - the layering of pine needles was so heavy. Alex pulled them out and even they had Roots that extended down into the downspouts. Again, I couldn't be more happy.

We had been quoted anywhere between $5,000-$15,000 to replace our sliding patio doors with French…read moredoors. Our garage is detached, so we could not lock our old patio doors, meaning if we wanted to use our garage, we either had to leave the house unlocked or walk around the block to our front door. We were told by all the other contractors that our doorway was a weird size, and that they were unable to install the doors without cutting into our drywall and stucco and removing our patio stairs. We were also told this would be a project that took multiple days. I posted our other quotes to Yelp to see if other contractors could beat it, and Sivan responded. Oded from Sivan came in and confirmed what I suspected: That what we were told by other contractors was wrong, and that they could easily replace our sliding patio doors with French doors with a lock, and that it could be done via retrofitting and would only take a matter of hours. Everyone at Sivan was easy to work with. My husband and I frequently have meetings during the day, so it's hard to have a call about house stuff. Everyone at Sivan was able to communicate via e-mail and text so we could handle things while in meetings, and they were super responsive even though we sometimes took months to respond because we had a baby since we originally reached out to them. We were able to get our doors done for $4,298.80, which was the best quote we had from any contractor and included labor, materials, and a warranty. In sum, we highly recommend Sivan if you are looking to replace your doors!
