Wow, when moving in, after paying cleaning deposits, i arrived at my new rental and found it still had trash that needed to be removed, like boxes, towels, clothes. I spoke with management upon move in about the trash left behind, to which I surprisingly got a very nasty response, Along with being told to just throw it all out. RED flag! And it was the beginning of consistent hotheaded, nasty treatment by this property managment/landlord. I am quite taken aback by the entire experience. They make huge promises to get you to sign the lease, then as soon as they have "got" you, you can expect to be treated as if you are an inconvenience.
They had promised they would resurface the bathtub, but they never did, note: I did NOT ask for this, it was told to me to convince me to sign the lease.
They promised a new refridgerator, again it was offered but then they never did.
The "free" wi-fi has a hit or miss signal, you can't count on the signal. Most of the renters end up buying internet.
Overall, there is little comfort in living at their property because they are so very ill tempered and unhelpful that it creates an uncomfortable situation, even when all you need is completely reasonable assistance.
Any little request is a huge inconvienience to them. For example: the closet doors are broken and come off the track everytime they are used, the landlord just made an excuse and never bothered to fix. Made me feel like I was a problem!
They have entered the apartment without permission several times.
Often there is no way to get in contact with them, no one answers the phone, or returns calls, nor do they acknowledge messages left or emails. Realy unfortunate communication.
The rent was to increase a hefty $55 more per month when going into a new lease. Not easy to plan your move-out because of the lengthy 6 month notice they require.
As for being a tenant at Bright Properties, it is NOT a pleasant experience. Bright Properties has multiple locations in Tucson. BEWARE they do not follow through, or ensure you get a comfortable livable environment. They get angry about doing that which is their job.
There were noise issues with the neighbors which management hates to be bothered with so they just got mad at me for asking them to fix the noise problem.
They are unreasonable and rude, and dishonest.
It is the level of snide rudeness they consistantly have that is the worst. Especially because they were so different while they were in the process of selling me on the place and signing their lease. Be warned, they like to bait you with charm to get you to sign the lease and then they switch and you are now a nuisance. Just pay the rent and shut up. read more
