Beware - They are terrible! This is about Brighthouse Network and not this location per se. We have guests over Thanksgiving Weekend watching a pay per view movie. Just when it gets to the climax, the picture starts tearing. Nothing we can do corrects it: not restarting the movie; not reversing the moving so that the 'streaming' catches up; and not restarting the box. How embarrassing. This is not the first time and I am done calling their customer service number wasting my time going through their protocols. They need to pay me for my wasted time! We pay over $315 a month for Brighthouse service until today when I cancelled. I am through wasting my money for this terrible service. We have had Fios installed and we are going with them. I will never use Brighthouse again. I can supply our account number if needed to verify this review. read more

Just cancelled my service over the phone. When asked why I was canceling I was honest stating that I found a better deal with another provider. The woman immediately became rude and sarcastic and told me I was getting "ripped off" and "lied to" by my new provider. Throughout the call she kept laughing to herself and saying things in a sarcastic manner like "good luck with the new service". I've never had someone be so rude to me on the phone in my life. Also my bill was $130 a month and the Internet service was constantly not working. My new service (which includes all the channels we watch) is $78. This is the first review I've ever wrote..I'm that mad. read more

I would give a zero if there was a choice. Its been 21 days with no cable. On hold for hours. Another no show. Make sure you go for fios or Directv. You need at least 45 min on a phone for a live person. There service is horrendous. Im going with hula, etc and dumping them. They are nice on the phone but nothing gets done. Brighthouse is as bright as night on Jupiter. read more

Awful!! Spectrum is a joke!! Had Brighthouse forever, great customer service, decent service. Spectrum could care less about their customers and the service is awful. Just cancelled and cancelling at all of the rental properties. You just keep doing you Spectrum!! Won't fair well for long!! read more

I wish I could give a zero!!! The worst service. 4 no shows over 2 days after scheduling appointments and trying to "fix" the error. When the tech shows up, he has the wrong modem and I'll be charged an additional fee. The people on the phone are really nice and empathetic to your situation but nothing is done other than apologies. They continue to raise the prices and the service sucks! read more

If I could put a 0 I would. I signed up my mother and mother in law with Bright House. I thought the service was great so I decided to switch from Direct Tv and Frontier to Bright House. I was told I had a 40 hardware fee from 17 years ago. I told them I returned the hardware. Unlike other companies the customer is not always right. I was told I had to produce the paperwork that I returned the hardware from 17years ago. Really......Its a shame that a company would force a customer to show paperwork that they turned in the hardware. So for 40 dollars this company is denying service for over 200 a month. If I was a held stock in this company I would sell right away. read more

Did not update my subscription with Billing Dept after I downgraded my package to Internet-only back on December 9th. As a result, Billing charged my card the amount it was before I made the change, taking part of my RENT money one day before it was due to be paid! Did not refund it in time (still not refunded) to prevent penalty fees and eviction due to insufficient rent payment! Horrible customer service, bureaucratic and insensitive about taking quick action when they made the error, putting a customer in jeopardy! Prospects will be MUCH better off with Verizon or another provider. STAY AWAY FROM Bright House Networks!!! After repeatedly calling and emailing them that I needed that money returned to my account immediately, was told it would take several business days! Unacceptable! Do NOT trust this company to take out automatic payments! Thanks for the stress and drama I'm now going through BHN because YOU won't take action beyond your stupid normal policy for returning what YOU were not supposed to collect in the first place! read more

I have traveled the entire U.S. While serving in the military and I can tell you Brighthouse is the worst by far times 10++, service is terrible, customer service is lacking (probably grossly under paid no wonder), they will slow down your internet so you will feel obligated to pay for faster service, after numerous service calls I figured out what was wrong with my cable while they were clueless. Don't know if it is the lack of training for their phone operators or if they just lie so much that they forget what they said the previous time, things change from trouble call to trouble call meanwhile there is no compensation and the prices keep rising. If you move to Tampa please don't even call them. read more

The worst cable company ever. I don't have enough space to write it all down. You buy your cable then your on your own. Direct or dish was not even remotely this bad. read more

I have had little to not Internet service for two months now and had multiple people out to my house with a handful of explanations and no resolutions. I am so frustrated that I am reduced to posting bad reviews. If I could switch my service I would but our neighborhood is exclusive with Bright House. I will make it a top priority to get my HOA to approve other providers. read more

This is the first review i have ever written. I attempted to go to their site and fill out a survey, but of course that was not an option. I cancelled my service and paid what I was told the remaining $18 balance, then get a call 2 weeks later saying I owe $201! I explained that i had cancelled my service. She said that it doesnt show that theequipment had been returned and that wouldwould be why, to call customer service and tell them which location I returned the equipment to. So I called, of course that was not the case, they are saying that I still owe them $201 no matter what I was told during my cancellation phone call. They don't know how she caMe up with $18 but that is not the case. I then tell her fine, i will go ahead and pay...it will be a $5 fee to pay with her, she needed to send me to the automated payment system. I go through the whole process to get told by an Automated voice that that this service is temporarily out of service! Try again later! A full hour of complete frustration! I don't feel I should have to pay the $201 after i had been told by a previous representative that I was all set. read more
