The target location I visited did not even have Halloween section started. It was blank shelves . Pretty disappointed, they are behind the curve. Maybe they don't have enough people to work. This Target for a long time was the main Target that I used to patronize bc it was basically a hop,skip,and 0.5 miles from our old apartment in the late 90's. Now that I drive and know about the Carrolwood and Wesley Chapel SuperTarget, I rarely come here. It's not bad. The employees are very courteous and helpful. However, the main problems with this store is seem to update their stock only whenever Halley's comet approaches. Their toy area especially Transformers rarely gets new stuff except 2 a year. They have food items but since its not a SuperT. You wont be able to do a full grocery shopping trip here. This store is significantly safer than the Fletcher Walmart imo. This store looks old, but it doesnt have throngs of people at its entrance crowding the doors. A solid A-ok Target but I would go to Carrollwood or Wesley chapel first. read more

Love me some Target. Never been to this location however other locations were out of the stuffed Peeps Easter bunny that I wanted for my daughter's basket. I absolutely adore their app and ease of placing the order for drive up and within a few hours the order is ready. It is so convenient! I don't even have to leave my car...I just tell them that I'm on the way, and GPS notifies them when I arrive and park in the designated Drive Up spots. Staff is out in no time with the purchases and place them where you designate via the app. I designated the trunk....so the staff approached my car, checked the code on my phone and proceeded to place in the trunk. She was so polite as well --- thanking me for my visit and wishing me a wonderful day. read more

I do pick up from here all the time! Honestly, probably like once a week. Small things I need for projects or household things. Last week it was make up remover, this week it's a ruler, the other week I needed garlic powder. It's so nice to order it and then head right to customer service to pick up my items and walk out! This is by far the dirtiest Target I've ever been in. Think Walmart, step it down a notch, and you'll have this place. Starting in the parking lot... you'll notice cups, bottle, and trash strewn throughout and blowing in the wind. Upon entering the front doors, you will see the trash is not limited to the parking lot. There is litter everywhere and food is dropped and smeared all over the floor. This is just the entrance. Clothes were off the racks laying on the floor, sheet sets were laying in the bedding aisle. Fortunately we were in and out for something quick and didn't get stuck to anything. Finally, on your way out... race back to your car while trying to avoid being shot. Advice: unless you are in the area with a serious emergency, stay away from this Target. The store GM and the property manager need to take a long hard look at at this store and this location for some serious cleanup! read more

The only reason I continue to go to this target is because it's walking distance away from my apartment. Apart from that, this target could use some work. The bathrooms are always disgusting, the aisles are messy, and the parking is always a problem whenever I'm here. I've witnessed several encounters of employees getting sassy with customers. This is the closest target by the University but it's the most uninviting for college students. read more

This is the closest Target store to me, albeit not my preferred location. The team members seem to be doing the best they can, mostly college students owing to its location near a university. But they could definitely use more staffing in terms of keeping things stocked well and appropriately. I have unintentionally ended up with various expired food products more times than I can count. I'll stop at this one if its for something small and/or quick, but otherwise, I drive a few more miles to the Carrollwood or New Tampa locations for more selection and cleanliness. read more

Ok store to pick up things you need. This is not the super target but it has the thing you need. It is very close to the university area and a lot students actually shop here. They have Pizza Hut located in the store if you want to get a quick bite. We're here for the cleaning solution. They have the twin packs for good price. Even better with coupon. The check out line is a bit small. The have 14 line with double side line. Emergency exit is well label. I wonder if we test their amber alert what will it be. Let's be real. We know what I'm bout to say. This area is not that nice. But they have so much nice things in this area. That's the issue I have. I still keep going, but I get in and I get out.The best thing about target but I really like is the fact that you can order online and within a few hours you can pick it up without having to go through any lines or anything. Not a terrible Target. Employees are very nice and help a lot. The homeless do scatter the parking lot but not as bad as the Walmart down the street. The police car there definitely helps. The Target as a whole is a mess. No isle really has organization, things are scattered. I did find Oreos for 1.87 and that was a win. They have really good deals and are right across the street so I can not complain. read more

I can truthfully say this is the worse target I've ever been to. They are always out of stock of everything, no matter what day or time you come. It's interesting that I always see the workers restocking but yet they're never in stock for basic necessities.. Additionally their products are typically in poor quality and yet they still put them on the shelves. This is behavior I'd expect from Walmart, not Target. Super disappointed. read more

January 2, 2019 I purchase items online through Target for drive up service for the first. After my purchase was completed it stated order will be ready within two hours. Time was 1:49 pm, so I waited, and waited, and of course waited for my email to pick up. Now it's 4:30 pm and still no email, so I called the store only for some at guest service to pick up not answer then hang up. I called back several times because I am thinking that someone would pick up so that I could find out about my Drive up before just showing up. Well no answered so I go to the store, walk in and speak to someone in guest services about my order. The person had no idea what to do. She asked five people how to find my order but that wasn't the problem. The problem that I had besides them not having my order ready and making wait so long to get my order was when she completed my order. Now told me that all of my order was not there and no one offered to take it to my car which I think that's what drive up service is. So I get home and half of my ordered was not there. This was not a good experience and I will never use this service again. read more

This is the worst Target I've been to in my life. I go to Target just for fun and shopping I'm addicted. I live across the street so it's convenient as well, but today was just awful and disgraceful. I have a expensive case for my new phone but thought a second one wouldn't hurt. From the moment some chick saw me she started questioning me. I got mad but let it go , I still put the case in my basket and carried on to the book aisle looked behind me and could see her looking at me trying to see what I'm doing. I'm not from around here and the Target back by my place is okay most of the time. I love this Target though because it is in such a good location for me. I do not have to drive far from the apartment and it always has what I am looking for. Another reason why I love this Target is because it is so organized and clean. The employees are also always smiling and willing to help when I need something I can not find. The food is a bit pricier than at other stores, but I find the quality and freshness of the meat and produce to be worth it. One thing I do not like is that even though employees are always willing to help, it takes some time to find one. It is a little creepy because whenever I go the store is almost always empty... Something I do like is that is it open later than the one by my home. I am constantly forgetting things that I need that I can normally get quickly at Target. read more

The people that work here are always nice and the store seems to always be stocked with product which is very convenient since I'm someone that like to be in and out when I do my grocery shopping. Their fruit selection does need to expand a bit though. Nice thing about this place is that they are open till 11 pm when all the other stores in the area including publix close at 11. The only other alternative at that hour is target or paying for overpriced goods at a 24 hour cvs or walgreens. This target is also really on point when it comes to rolling out inventory for festivities like halloween , christmas, thanksgiving, etc.. Its a nice one stop shop. wish they would start carrying the big checkout backs so I wouldnt have to load and unload 100 different small bags and save me more trips fromhaving to go up and down the stairs so much . This is a nice Target. My complaint is with Plus Size and Maternity clothes department is overlooked. Just a horribly small selection.

Definitely not Tampa's best target, but I did find a lot of natural groceries on clearance and the same goodies that make Target worth the trip. It's very close to USF, which can be convenient but I still prefer the South Tampa Target. read more

I can say I always enjoy myself when I visit this Target. All the employees are so helpful and friendly. The location is right by my campus. And they always have the best sales, fresh produce, and are fairly good about be consistently stocked. I've always been a fan of my Target back in Fort Lauderdale, but I must say that this one here in Tampa is one of my favorites. read more

The organization of this store is perfect. I usually never have any difficulty finding anything, but when I do there is always someone there to help. Anytime I go to this Target location, I'm always able to get close parking and the store usually isn't too busy. Being near the University, the store does tend to get more busy in the beginning of new semesters, but the store employees keep lines moving quickly and it's great! Employees are also super friendly and hard working. My favorite products are their kitchen utilities and their vitamin selection (there's a lot to choose from for each). Other products such as storage, travel, décor, etc. all have a large variety. Prices are a little higher (not much) than you may find in a Walmart, but beats prices at Publix and other supermarkets in the area, plus the store has more than just basic groceries as previously mentioned. The store is also extremely clean and I've never heard of anything otherwise, plus the vegetable and fruit area is always clean of older products which isn't the case for many other stores. Target is an established organization that prides itself on cleanliness, product quality, and customer service. However, after my recent visit to this particular Target I have come to find that this department is lacking in cleanliness. The outside appearance of the shop gives it a gloomy atmosphere upon arrival. Although this takes away from one's initial perception of Target it doesn't capture the inside of the store. Once inside a customer will be kindly greeted by employees near the check-out station and asked if assistance is needed. I've grown to love not only the customer service, but the selection of products that is available to purchase (e.g., such as food all the way to gaming equipment). Overall, I am pleased with the inside of the store more than the outside of it. read more
