Since the change of hands at Bright Chinese, quality has slipped dramatically. What was once a buzzing restaurant with really tasty, delicious menu options, has now become a kitchen that clearly likes to cut corners... And the visitors to Bright know about it.
Our dining experience started with steamed dim sims (from the freezer section of the local supermarket) which were undercooked. I ordered a chicken and vegetable soy stir fry - it came out with fatty chicken that seemed to be coated with a heavy layer of oil. The boys ordered the crisy chicken - the serving was enormous however the 'chicken' looked a little odd and the batter was a half inch thick. Some friends ordered satay vegetables... You'd think this would be a piece of cake to make but alas, it came out bland. Don't get us started on the fried rice.
