And if you are good at what you do, why would you have to. I almost hired Jeanie to help me with redoing my resume and consulting on what appropriate places of employment would be ideal to apply to based on the strength finder test. She did make a few changes to my existing resume, but I wasn't impressed. Thanked her but it left a lot to be desired. Red flags definitely went up when she referred to my being empathetic as a negative since Empathy is one of my top 5 strengths. Red flags because there is no weaknesses in your strengths when it comes to strength finder. That's the entire point of the system. Instead of trying to improve weaknesses in a career setting, strength finder teaches how to utilize your strengths. This led me to check to see if she was CERTIFIED by Clifton and strength finder and I learned she wasn't. https://www.gallup.com/learning/certification/en/directory - Her website states she is trained, which in my opinion is misleading. I did find a wonderful CERTIFIED coach and it's a world of difference. They're positive and upbeat and definitely know what they are talking about. I had also hired her for tutoring my son some years ago and to help my daughter with essay writing for college application. While I appreciated her help with my son, I didn't realize she hired college and HS students to tutor the kids while charging the rates that she does. More recently I hired a math tutor for my son, paying the same rate, but it was one on one tutoring, and there definitely was a difference. To each their own, but not the sort of place or person I want to do business with.

My son has significant learning disabilities and is falling through the cracks of public school special education which has led to low self esteem, frustrations, anxiety and even school refusal. He told me with tears in his eyes, "Mom, I'm just not a school person" After a summer with Jeanie, this completely changed! He was excited every week to go! He was excited to start the school year this year and he has been asking me monthly, if not weekly WHEN he can start LEARNING with Ms. Jeanie again! He is so excited to be seeing her again! I am so grateful that he feels so seen and supported by Ms. Jeanie and is starting to believe in himself again!

That's when I reached out to Mr. Kim for help. My oldest, due to covid was extremely behind and nowhere near the level she needed to be by High School. Mr. Kim with his love of teaching and his great method of making math easy to learn. Gave my oldest child the confidence and the right tools to be successful in her studies. My child that hated math found herself confident to the point where she helps her peers when they have difficulties in understanding math. She is now approaching graduation and looking forward to going to college to study Bio Chem. From hating math to looking forward to learning more about math and science. I didn't expect that change of heart. My youngest daughter had more time in the Kumon program. I didn't hesitate to put her in Mr. Kim's classes. She is entering high school confident that she can solve any math problem and if she is stuck, she has the tools to figure it out. If only Kumon was around when I was in elementary school. If anyone is on the fence, I want to reassure you that it is worth it. It's a great investment in your child education.

My niece sufffered a bite mark to the FACE. There were only two teachers and about 30 children in one classroom. I asked her teachers while they were kind, The director was not and immediately shifted the blame to the staff. A real director doesn't blame anyone, just fix the issue. I never had this problem with Ms Justice. There has to be a change I talk to parents everyday and we all came to the same conclusion about Nikita, she is not fit to be a director especially with her nasty behavior towards children and the people who work with her. They also have PARENTS in ratio due to the understaffing. Like it's ridiculous imagine dropping your child off to daycare and the parents of the damn students are taking care of the same damn kids they dropped off! What are we paying for? All of the teachers we were familiar with have left as well and I can understand why. Kindercare, Fix this!

When my daughter graduated from the private preschool, she could barely read very simple books like Tiger Daniel, that was when we enrolled her into the reading program. Of course, that being that, there is always some effort the parents have to put in, like I had to sit with my daughter everyday for 30mins during the very first few weeks to help her understand what she needs to do :P

It feels good to be part of the community and use their support and expert opinion for my daughter's education. There are different teachers for English, Math, and even second language, like Spanish. All of them are pros, and they take their job very seriously. It's hard to control classes like this where students come from different schools, each student with different skills. Yet, the teachers have succeeded in providing a safe, nurturing and educational environment for my daughter. I am also very happy with the pick-up. There has never been any issue. Everything gets coordinated by the staff in a very clear and organized way.
