In my opinion, screen time was far too extensive at this center. The curriculum was bare bones and despite every effort to request more educational support for my child it was ignored. The center made alot of promises , seemingly just to get another customer. When I attempted to discuss this with leadership, those requests were down played and excuses were always given as to why they did not meet the goals they set for my child. Good quality and safe child care is hard to find. You will find it here. But the academy claims they make were far from the truth for me and my family. Firstly, breathe because I can assure you, you won't find better. Celebree isn't just a daycare. They care ... alot.... they have a everyday on going learning curriculums for even a 3 month old. But what's better than that? The staff and caretaking of the kids. In the four months we have been at Celebree School of Glen Burnie, the teachers and office staff have never slowed or failed to make sure my husband and I know we made the right choice. Any questions, concerns, thought, ideas, scheduled feeding changes or milestones, the staff is right there with you. They listen!!!! And they care. I have to take a moment to shout out to Ms. Dominique, who has been with our son since the begginging and has treated our son with kindness, love and care even when me as a new mom has made it difficult with questions and my own concerns while my LO goes through changes. The office staff, never misses an email and is always willing to listen and help you resolve anything. You will love this school!

In particular Ms. Tina goes above and beyond for me. I dont have facebook (FB) and other than the office sending an email or the teachers putting a message on the app, all communication about (for example) spirit week, holidays, birthdays, etc. is done via FB. But Ms. Tina takes her time to text me every single message. She also checks in if she feels my son is having an off day. Her kindness has made me and my kids feel very special. Of course Ms. Danielle is also wonderful and always so kind and Ms. Jayla has even been to some of the kids birthday- she truly loves kids- so they are all amazing. They give birthday gifts, holidays gifts, etc. that THEY PURCHASE. Above and beyond. Ms. Iku and Ms. Bow are also wonderful to my daughter, though i dont have the same interactions. Ill just say they are very sweet. I dont know the other staff names, but as they run your kids back to class or up from class they are always kind. I love the security of the locked main door to get into all of the classrooms as well and the app that we utilize. Only using FB could be considered a negative to some (there are times I wish maybe there was more signage or emails sent but they also recently put up a board that they write things on which helps) but with staff like Ms. Tina it really doesnt bother me. The sad part is when a person have to work they have to deal with the consequences of dealing with terrible daycare facilities. First off the cook at this establishment is very nasty and unclean. His clothes are very dirty and smells bad and he walks around touching food and doorknobs with his bare hands. A typical breakfast there would be a single cup of yogurt, or a blue berry muffin, or simply just a plain waffle. They don't feed the kids a real breakfast and it's high in sugar. My child was brought food and on his last day there they remembered he couldn't eat their food but didn't get him his snack until 20 mins after giving the other kids gold fish. It was heart breaking watching my child cryin to the adults for food and attempting to grab the kids goldfish. Not to mention one of the staff members stood next to them on his phone the whole time. I told them and even provided a doctors note that my child isn't allowed to have milk but they actually poured him milk on serval occasions after being reminded and he was even able to get other kids cup of milk. They say they do family style dining but they don't sit with them while they eat so if your child has a deadly allergy to any food do not and I repeat DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!!

She had undeclared/unvetted adults (her extended family) in the house without letting us know first, which isn't okay. We ended up standing up for ourselves and she yelled at us, threatened us, and acted very unprofessional. I sent several emails asking for her license number and the contract we had signed, and she just ignored us. Overall, I wouldn't leave my children with her for a single minute and I highly suggest people look elsewhere for care. I'd be more confident with a high schooler, honestly.
