In Brigham, a tiny hamlet in the center of the Lake District of England, is a beautiful place to call home (as I did for a year). Being pretty rural, it's hard to get all those creature comforts that we've all grown accustomed.
One of those creature comforts is film, and I appreciated the occasional showings at the Memorial Hall. They have had several bands coming through that have filled the 150-or-so seats. It's a popular spot to rent out for parties, and the available facilities (the kitchen, the tables, the dancing-friendly wood floors) make it a near-perfect choice. Their long tables are great for their occasional rummage/charity sales. And yes, there's even a weekly Zumba class on Thursday.
