We definitely did not fancy having it in the function room of a hotel or in the local village hall. We came across Special Event Tipis on the internet as they are based near to where we live. We asked them for a quote along with some of their competitors. They gave us a great price but most importantly they got back to us really promptly and were extremely friendly. They never tried to pressure us an invited us to go and meet them at an open day. Once we saw the Tipis for ourselves we had to have them. They are absolutely stunning in themselves however David and his team have found out how to make them look their best. They have lighting rigs, fairly lights, disco balls etc which integrate really well. They were also able to provide a sound system which was AMAZING. We opted for a two Tipi setup with one as a dance floor and the other as a seating area with fire pit. The fire was a real focal point on the night of the party. David and his team were a pleasure to deal with both in the build up to the event and during set up / take down. Go and see them for yourself at one of their open days, you will see what I mean.

Swarthmoor hall has tons of history to keep you occupied, as well as being a beautiful site and once you're done exploring, there's a quaint cafe , 'The Barn cafe' which serves up excellent delights of breakfast and lunch. There is also a visitor centre to give more information about the site and is full of lovely, welcoming people. Not one to miss!
