Fries with the chicken tender basket were top notch but the chicken tasted frozen and overcooked. The family friendly entertainment was enjoyable. However, *my first corn dog was undercooked with batter underneath, we took it back and they were nice enough to fry another one. *there was a game booth with explicit music which was definitely not family friendly, and staff on duty heard it as well and corrected the matter. *the gravel walkways can be a tripping hazard for some.

Beautiful campgrounds here!…read more This is a well-kept Christian campsite! Includes several trails, a lake with several water-involved accommodations, fire pits etc. Everything you'd expect from an outdoor campgrounds facility. The dorm-style living and all of the buildings that I've ever gone in during my two visits here... are all very nice and designed well! Everything is clean and feels comfortable to live in for however long you're there. From the heart of birmingham, might take you 20-30 to get out there... depending on traffic, weather, and all other factors that disturb travel times. If you ever have a reason to go, I think you'll appreciate what this large campground facility has to offer!

There are two sections for large/small dogs.... I really hope they can get water soon. I know someone stops by and brings jugs of water for the dogs to drink. It's a great place for Echo to get some energy out!

Sadly, we don't see too many dogs out here yet. I'm guessing not too many people know about it. It has a small dog and large dog section. There isn't a water fountain for the dogs, but people bring gallons of water and leave them out there for the dogs to use. The area is a great size for our dog to run (or trot) around in. They have fixed the muddy area that was in the area by planting some sod in that area. We hope to be back here more often once we live a little closer. It's a great addition to the Trussville area and will be great to make sure residents aren't leaving due to amenities that were not previously in the area.

Love the idea of a park just for our furry friends!…read more This was my 2nd trip here with my sweet Roxie, with this experience being much better than the last. Roxie was able to run and play, both solo and with the other puppies that were visiting that day. Our last trip here she was annoyed by an aggressive little puppy whose owners actually encouraged his rough play with my terrified little pooch. I guess that's what you have to deal with in dog parks. The small dog area is very grassy, and doesn't have too many areas where mud would be a problem. There are poop bags readily available and a water station for your thirsty pups. There are also benches and sitting areas for humans should you get tired out or just want to sit and watch your doggy socialize, run and play. Great atmosphere for your pooch!
