Sometimes my online purchases are duds, sometimes they're great. My Bridgestone Select story is a weird combination of the two. I bought a Scoopon for a $49 service at Bridgestone Select. They have a shop in Enoggera, the service included top up fluid including up to 4 ltrs of oil (I've been bitten like that before) and let's face it, that's a great price. I wasn't expecting much but what a great surprise. Even though I was an el cheapo client, the guys were lovely and rang to tell me that my service book wanted more done than the service included, instead of just doing it and charging me. They didn't mind me asking them to do some now and some later too. Where it gets great is with my dud purchase. I bought a cheap iPod / radio thingie and didn't make the connection when my radio stopped working. Bridgestone got an auto electrician from up the road in to check it out, and then negotiated a great rate for me to get a proper one installed. They really went the extra mile for me and I'll be using them in the future for sure. read more
