Checked for my assignment that was not in the book. Called scheduler, stated I was to work on 100 & 400 halls. When asked about log-in info, was told to call IT myself and arrange for that. IT stated that contractor could not call by self but to let facility representative to call on behalf of which they will email details to her and then will notify me. Scheduler was at home at this time. Called her back, she stated because she is home there is little she could do until she accesses computer at work. 6:30am, still waiting for her. No report given yet and not brief orientation to the halls and all that good stuff as a this was my first time at this facility. Around 6:45am, notified one of the staff, asking if there is anyone else to help me with log-in info as it was getting late into my shift. She called the scheduler, who was till at home and no indication that she will be in the facility at any time soon. Around 6:50am: Still no report, no scheduler, no log-in info, and no sign that I will start my assignment any time soon, I informed the other staff that I would rather go home. This was unacceptable of the scheduler. At around 7am, I left the building. Called my agency and left for home. When home, noted the scheduler had indicated that it was a no-show shift. I have never been to a facility where an agency nurse is supposed to arrange for my own log-in. As IT stated, it could be anybody wanting access to their system; hence telling me this info had to come from the facility representative. I do not recommend this facility to any agency nurse who cares about patients and time management. What a first time impression.

this facility needs to be shut down first they had my friend on the wrong machine he needed to be…read moreon a BPAC machine he calls me at midnight, wanting me to bring his machine up there because they had him on a CPAC machine. he could barely breathe, took me forever to get them to open the door at this time of night. The next day I went up there to see him, and there was piss under the bed. He had to call the police to get some water-send a friend up there to check on him. P is still under the bed. He had the same clothes on for four days, they have not got him up to walk or do anything as of now I'm not even allowed on their premises and he has a POA that is not for his best interest. Every day I have somebody go and check on him and the report I get back are awful. I do not recommend this place for anybody. staff was very rude when I asked them about machine that night. They said they had it handled. But they didn't how did neighbor to go up there and fix the machine right. Also, he said he hadn't use the restroom in two weeks. When my friend went to tell the nurses they said we have that handled. We know how he is. He called me wanting me to call 911. He was in so much pain and I did I'm not sure if they showed up or not, it's pretty sad when you have to call 911 when you're in a facility like that and in pain. I am now in contact with a lawyer, and I will see what I can do about this facility and the POA nobody deserves to be abused and mistreated and taken advantage of. Money surely is the root of all evil.

You will not need to go out and buy devices and equipment, and you can do everything at home with stretches and exercises. If you require extra meds, a timely appt from the contracted mental health team etc, the staff here doesn't want to be bothered. You'll be sent back to the ER instead of them trying to put the supports in place that your family was told would be there during your hospital discharge. Stat to this facility means 5 days later and still not done / ordered.

The physical, occupational and cognitive therapies she received were outstanding. I can't even say enough about the nurses and staff that were supportive of us and making her feel welcome. Avoid this place if at all possible. While it may seem like it's a clean facility with friendly…read morepeople on the surface, none of those people actually DO anything. My mother was here for rehab after a hospital stay, and the facility was recommended by Medical City Denton, just down the road. Over a week in, and having received ZERO contact from anyone that I didn't initiate, I asked why, and was told that they hadn't bothered to record anyone's contact information in her file -- translated, they didn't really intend to communicate. My mother, who can use a toilet, wasn't able to in this facility because she wasn't allowed to leave her bed, would be left in her own waste, and even when I would visit I felt like I was going to have to light myself on fire to get someone to help. After about a week my mother got a UTI from laying in her own waste, it took almost another week before they addressed it with antibiotics, and then they implied that she shouldn't be allowed to leave until the infection was better. Here's the deal: the infection isn't going to stay better as long as she's in your facility laying in her own waste. Truly a horribly managed place.

However, her bed is too small for her and not "automatic"....I was told there was a "wall phone" that she could share with her roommate, (she can't use a cell phone), there is no phone. The "call nurse" button has never worked...so each person was given "jingle bells" to ring if they needed help. Well, you can imagine how bad that goes. Who's bell is ringing??? I'm still on the fence with this one, but, feel like I have no choice, as we are limited dealing with government funding. Staff has been friendly and seeming to care.......but..........

I recently had problems with my back and one of my legs. The neuro surgeon I saw recommended PT and…read moremy wife had been here before and liked it so I thought I would try it out. I had such bad pain that I didn't think PT would help but to my surprise it did help to the point I'm fully recovered now. It was easy to book an initial appointment, they are popular so can be difficult to find the perfect time unless you are willing to wait. I had a primary PT that I saw most of the time but also saw some others. It started out very easy and simple with stretches and other things and gradually had most of the type of exercises I do. They asked about what/if any strength training I do and they were able to incorporate most of the type of exercises that I do that could have lead to my initial problem. I was very happy with how much progress I made while I was going here and if I have some other physical problem where PT might help, I will come back here again.
