I had such bad pain that I didn't think PT would help but to my surprise it did help to the point I'm fully recovered now. It was easy to book an initial appointment, they are popular so can be difficult to find the perfect time unless you are willing to wait. I had a primary PT that I saw most of the time but also saw some others. It started out very easy and simple with stretches and other things and gradually had most of the type of exercises I do. They asked about what/if any strength training I do and they were able to incorporate most of the type of exercises that I do that could have lead to my initial problem. I was very happy with how much progress I made while I was going here and if I have some other physical problem where PT might help, I will come back here again.

Joints in Motion is, far and away, the best physical therapy provider that I have ever used. I have been working with Eric at Joints in Motion for the last 3 months as I recover from rotator cuff surgery and cannot say enough positive about the experience. Rotator cuff surgery recovery is not fun, but Joints in Motion has made things immeasurably better. There are several things that set Joints in Motion apart from other therapy places where I have gone. First, it is clear during each of my sessions that there is a plan in place for my therapy. Unlike other places I have gone, I have never found myself standing around waiting for a therapist to figure out what I should be doing or waiting between exercises because a therapist is tending to another patient. It is clear that they respect my time and prioritize maximizing my progress without unnecessarily wasting my time. Second, Eric is great about explaining what I'm doing, how it helps, what my progress looks like, and giving advice on things that I can do at home. I have a bad tendency to be a control freak which invariably causes me to ask lots of questions. Eric has always patiently answered them fully in a way that is understandable to a layperson. Third, the facility itself is well-equipped and a really good size. I did not appreciate how important that space issue was until I went to Joints in Motion. At other therapy places where I have been, it was often hard to work around other patients who were operating close by. At Joints in Motion, there is plenty of space to spread out so that patients don't impede one another during a therapy session. I live less than 5 minutes from another physical therapy provider, but it is a no-brainer that, despite it being a 25-minute drive from my house to Joints in Motion, that the extra drive well be well-worth it the next time I manage to injure myself.

I just finished my PT with Kyle Correia at APEX Network PT in Celina. I had a full rotator cuff…read moretear and bicep tear and had surgery to repair them on November 14th of last year. I was apprehensive at first about PT as I did not move my arm at all for 6 weeks while in the sling. Kyle was very careful, and gentle, when PT began after the stitches were removed (just before Thanksgiving). Each week of therapy showed increased improvement of ROM. He did give me exercises to do at home, (pulleys, stretches, weights) which I did religiously, and I know that has helped me immensely. You do have to do some work at home to keep things moving. He does push you a bit but that's his job. He has an easy going manner but he stays on task and is constantly checking on my well being. Colleen is a great addition to the staff as well. Friendly, very competent, and was gentle but firm in my therapy when she took care of me. Keisha, in the front office, always has a smile on her face and a kind word whether you're coming or going. That makes a big difference compared to some places I've been. All in all I would highly recommend Apex Network Physical Therapy to anyone who wants to get right after surgery or injury. I have complete range of motion now and I owe it all to Apex Physical Therapy, Kyle and his great staff, and the tools he gave me to get better after the surgery.

I went yesterday for the first time and when I met Jay he immediately knew what was happening with my Sciatica PLUS things that were happening I had no idea of. He discussed all my symptoms and reviewed my history and did my first adjustment. It was something like I had never experienced but woke up this morning with a different kind of pain. Not the sharp stabbing sensation that I have been experiencing for 10 years, but just an aching sensation that warm hot pad and rest helped with 100% ! I have another adjustment on Friday and I look forward to hopefully never having to see another Orthopedic Surgeon and get shots again. Forge Physical Therapy: They Got My Groove Back!…read more After having a hip replacement on June 15, I knew physical therapy was going to be a big part of getting back to my normal self. What I didn't expect was to actually LOVE going to physical therapy! I went to Forge Physical Therapy in Frisco 2-3 times a week for about two months, and I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. From day one, I felt like I was part of the Forge family. Dr. Spencer is absolutely fantastic. He is incredibly knowledgeable and seemed to know exactly what I needed--even when I wasn't entirely sure what I needed myself! He pushed me, encouraged me, and helped me rebuild my strength and confidence after surgery. Most importantly, he knew how to help me get my groove back! And believe me, after a hip replacement, getting your groove back is no small accomplishment! And then there is Ms. Linda--aka "The Colonel." What can I say about The Colonel? She was so incredibly sweet, caring, encouraging, and just genuinely happy to see me every time I walked in. She made every visit feel a little more like visiting friends than going to PT. In fact, I have NEVER felt so much love and genuine care in a physical therapy office. These people went from being my physical therapists to feeling like family. And somehow, I actually looked forward to seeing them 2-3 times a week--which is pretty impressive considering I was there because I had just had my hip replaced! Forge is a newer PT location, and Frisco is SO lucky to have them. If you need physical therapy, I cannot recommend this team enough. They have the knowledge, expertise, encouragement, and--most importantly--the HEART. Thank you, Dr. Spencer, Ms. Linda/The Colonel, and the entire Forge team for taking such great care of me and helping me get back to doing the things I love.
