He checked the wall section I had opened to investigate and found wetness from the recent rains. He clearly explained how mold grows, what kills it and what does not, and exactly how Redwood Restoration would mitigate the problem while giving me a rough quote. He then checked all potential sources of water intrusion in the whole house with me and sent me two quotes: one for the room and one to address an issue in the basement to prevent mold from growing. The work authorization also listed a contractor license that is expired, and when I asked for the active license number and contracting entity, I was directed to the CSLB search page rather than being given the information requested. After several weeks of trying to resolve these issues, I requested a refund for the estimate fee.
