Definalty a neat interior set up I opted for the Mango Tahini Smoothie... for $5.60 it was served premade and only 3/4 full... a bit disappointed. The taste... it was ok... nothing spectacular to compensate the value. It looks like there is some neat brunch idea with an inhouse bakery.

Decided to stop by to do some reading. This place is beautiful with outdoor seating as a bonus. The inside is a cafe as well as a large open bakery so it smells like incredible freshly baked bread and pastries even with my congested nose. The place is spacious with regular seating as well as couches. I opted for a London fog which was very tasty. Definetly a place you can study. Cons- - Tables and seats were a tiny bit dirty with stains/crumbs, they may have not had time to wipe down Pros- - Whole place smells like delicious fresh pastries and bread - Amazing atmosphere, quiet - Free WiFi - Power outlets near couches - Comfy couches as well as regular seating Service- 5/5 Taste- 4/5 Location- 5/5 Atmosphere- 5/5 Smell- 5/5 Would i come return? Yes.

Nice!

Beautiful place with a small café built-in, located on the edges of Chinatown / Little Italy. This is also a bakery and is the primary roastery for their coffee beans, so the whole place just smells AMAZING! The free WiFi is very stable but note that it is slow. Nice variety of furnitures: booth tables, high tables, and low coffee tables.... but the quantity of seating is small and the staff seem to struggle keeping the tables clean. There is patio seating as well when the weather is warmer but here again, the quantity of seating is small and patio has no roof so you are sitting out in the sun. Nonetheless, the fresh breads and pastries, the incredible smells.... I would absolutely keep coming back here and here again!!!

I've been to many a Bridgehead in the city, but as it turns out, none of them compare to this place! This location is huge, and it's easily the coolest place to grab a coffee in Little Italy. We came by on a Sunday afternoon with the intent of getting a coffee to go, but once I was inside I didn't want to leave! The design is all industrial, with high, open ceilings and plenty of seating. Seeing all the equipment for roasting the coffee was super cool, and I loved that it's all open so you can see what's going on. They weren't roasting while we were there, so we could look, but it wasn't super loud as Coy mentioned in his review. So environment, 5 stars for sure. I was pretty ravenous when we got there, and after seeing the flatbread, I totally wanted one. I can't remember what it was called, but I'll never forget the taste...I've been craving another one ever since! The crispy and chewy flatbread had toasted sesame seeds on the crust, and it was covered with pesto, just the right amount of cheese, tomatoes and black olives. It was so delicious and the perfect amount to split for a snack. I also got their iced coffee which was fabulous, and a great drink on warmer days. They have a few seats outdoors, but plenty of space inside. I will definitely be coming back here soon!

I rarely go to Bridgehead, not for any particular reason, but I hadn't tried anything that knocked my socks off before. Today, I stopped in with the intent of getting a few croissants, and a coffee of sorts. I had no idea that it was a roastery! What a treat! I got a plain croissant, a almond one, and a few chocolate ones! And a vanilla latte! I was also looking for something for my dear friend who is on a type of food cleanse, no gluten, no corn, no dairy, no egg. When I asked the barista he showed me a bar that they make, perfect! I got to see some of the process of coffee making...I think, I was in a rush. But! It seems like a great place to get some more info and have fun! Some of tables they had were occupied by a few guests, pretty cool! The vanilla latte was great, one of the best I've had in a while! And once I tore into that chocolate croissant, I couldn't stop! Heard great things about the no gluten-corn-dairy-egg bar aswell!

absolutely delicious coffee great. outstanding environment. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a really nice place

Bridgehead Roastery is a cool coffee/tea joint! Spacious and mod in design their flagship store or head store sits in the outskirts of downtown Ottawa. My sister her family and I dropped by one lazy Sunday afternoon. My sister wanted to get some lemongrass tea but we found out that their retail tea department is closed on Sundays. We decided to take a load off and sat down for a Maple Latte. It was pretty good. A hint of maple but not overwhelming or overpowering. I really like this cafe! It's not overly crowded and customers are not packed in like sardines. It's a little off the beaten path but well worth the effort!!

This is my favorite Bridgehead location in Ottawa. The second you enter you smell the delicious scents of fresh bread and coffee as they bake their bread on location, and roast their coffee here too.

Great place to take a break, enjoy high quality coffee with some local beer

Take it from an out of towner that doesn't drink a whole lot of coffee. Bridgehead is the best cup or coffee I've had in years.

I thanked him and advised him that I was actually looking for food now and was about to leave, but then he said it was ok that he could make my food now. How nice is that, eh? I ordered 2 half chicken dinners. So the price was $13.55 each and I was prepared to pay this, but it turns out they were having a buy one get one free offer, which wasn't advertised anywhere, but hey, I took it. Awesome! So you get to chose your sauce for the chicken. I got Original, which is spicy, and I got my husband the Medium Sweet, since he likes less spicy than I do. The chicken came on a bed of rice with vegetables. The wait was about 35-40 minutes. The food smelled so good on the car ride home, lol. The Original sauce is somewhat sour, but the spices in it give it a more unique taste. The Medium Sweet sauce was, well, sweet, which I prefer over sour, but it was less unique, as I feel like I've had similar sauces before. I did like the spiciness of my sauce though. It packed a nice punch. The flavour profile of the Original was unlike any sauce that I have tasted before, and I love trying new things, so I liked it for that. I would love the spiciness of the Original, but the sweetness of the Medium Sweet. The chicken was tender and juicy. The rice was just ok IMO. It tasted a bit dry. It was rice with carrots, corn, peas and green beans. Seemed like a frozen vegetables mix. Service was very friendly and courteous. The restaurant is in the basement of a low-rise with other businesses in it. Betsi Chicken is inside D'Afrique Restaurant and Bar. I suspect they have the same owner, just different branding since it's different food (Betsi Chicken serves African grilled chicken, while D'Afrique Restaurant serves traditional Ethiopian food, like curries with injera). Street parking only.

The service was what one would expect from a place like the Chateau Laurier. Very Good! The ambiance was pleasant and comfortable. We will return when in Ottawa.
