Well everyone has different tastes, but in my opinion Starbucks makes a great cup, Roast 'N Brew is below Tim's or McDonalds in quality. It's much better than most non-coffee shop coffees though. The muffin on the other-hand, even the shrink-wrapped kind you get at a corner store would be an improvement. It was dry and stale, and smallish in size. I normally go to one of the larger chains in the area but thought, why not give this place a shot... I think I'll stick to the other places, and I'll save money in the process too, because most places offer a coffee and muffin combo for roughly $3 or less, and the coffee is better/larger and the muffin is more fresh.

We dropped by to check out this Frankenstein of a creation we saw online. It was an espresso in a donut. Yup you read that right! Space is a little smaller than the old location but they now sell vinyl and books. The barista is a awesome. Super friendly and makes good coffee. There's a lot of different drinks you can get, the food menu looks a little limited at the moment but they're working on it. They're also working on a liquor license as well. Here's a pic of the donut coffee. The donut is really dense at the bottom but light on the top. There's also some Nutella or similar spread inside the donut. I'd say, I might get this again as they're willing to put any drink inside. I found the dense part of the donut heavy, so donut tops only for me! My barista was kindly chatting with me which I highly enjoyed. Great vibe, relaxed, nice place to work or relax. There's indoor seating and an outdoor patio that reuses crates for seating. Little Victories didn't have Earle Grey tea which is not the end of the world. They didn't have a washroom which was problematic. $5.95 for a small paper cup of tea! The service was snooty - they questioned my choice of sweetener? Anyway, the ambiance is beautiful but wooden seats were uncomfortable... to say nothing about the lack of a washroom. All-in-all, a bad experience. I don't recommend Little Victories. (My regular coffee shops: Bridgehead - good, and Les Moulin la Fayette - fantastic!)

Opened during the pandemic, and is amazing…read more This place is simple and all about the coffee. They roast and that's It. You can only get coffee. No food. No water. Just coffee. I love It. The decaf is no chemically scrubbed. And all the farms the owner uses to get beans from give back to the community. Makes me feel good to buy his coffee. I also couldn't get over how beautifully dark the decaf was. Perfect for espresso beverages. So good, dark, but not burnt. Don't come here for some froofroo bevvies, come for the love of coffee and you will not be disappointed. There's only a bar, no seating. Street parking was decent. And he even will ship beans to you.
