We lived at Bridge at Northwest Hills for two years, and the move out experience alone makes this place a complete scam. There is constant staff turnover, which should have been our first red flag. Cable services were slashed, an insane towing policy was put in place, and the parking lot was riddled with dumpsters that sat right outside of our windows for months. The front office staff is terrible at communication and extremely rude, particularly the manager, Taylor Culver, and admin Neira Skrebo.
The real issue begins when you move out. About a week before our move-out date, they emailed us a PDF outlining an insane cleaning checklist- oven, drip pans, carpets, everything- claiming tenants are financially responsible if it's not spotless. None of this was in the lease we actually signed, which clearly states normal wear and tear is expected. This last-minute PDF directly contradicts the lease and feels intentionally designed to trap tenants.
Despite thoroughly cleaning the apartment and leaving only minor, normal wear from two years of living there, they kept our entire security deposit and then claimed we owed over $1,000 more in "repairs." When we questioned the charges, they threatened to send the balance to collections and told us there was "nothing they could do" once it reached that point- an obvious intimidation tactic.
When we requested invoices for these so-called repairs, they only sent a few, and most of the companies didn't exist, and the one real one didn't have an address that matched the company's website. The lack of transparency was alarming and unprofessional.
Moving out of this complex feels intentionally predatory. If you value your money, your peace of mind, and basic honesty from property management, do not move here. I strongly recommend prospective tenants look elsewhere unless they're prepared to fight bogus charges on the way out. read more
