I wanted something different and centerpieces that wouldn't "compete" with our venue (the Chicago Cultural Center) - Esther really understood my vision even though I couldn't find the words to articulate it sometimes. She was very responsive to emails and invited us into the studio to go over the revised plan when I decided to change the centerpieces. She is a true artist and you can tell that she has a fantastic eye - in many of my emails back and forth with her, I couldn't make decisions on things, so I'd just say, "please do what you think looks best, I trust you." I could not have been more pleased with my flowers on our wedding. I actually started to tear up when I saw my bouquet and my BM's bouquets and my eyes welled up again when I saw the reception room for the first time. Every single thing was executed perfectly and we're still receiving compliments from guests that our flowers were some of the best people have ever seen.

While planning a wedding you get suckered into thinking that everything that is super expensive must be better and that if you are not paying top price for whatever you are a bad bride. In the long list of wedding expenses, flowers were not my highest priority. (although I was told by several florist that they should be) Of course I wanted them to be beautiful and perfect etc, I just didn't want to spend my bonus on them. From the moment I walked in to meet with Esther I was in love, she was calm, super sweet and really really great to work with. She was not pushy, she understood the budget, and gave me amazing flowers. She allowed for me to buy my own vases, which lowered the overall cost and I let people to take the beautiful flowers home. All night long I received compliments on the center pieces and my flowers. This was one wedding vendor I did not have to worry about and since then I have recommended them to everyone I know.

Forgetting the name of the nice lady who answered the phone, but immediately after hearing the situation she was extremely apologetic and offered a more than a reasonable solution for me. I went into this call pretty disappointed because my plans got messed up, but the service I got was incredible and I couldn't be happier. Also, my girlfriend loved the arrangement.

I ordered a bouquet for my mom for Mother's Day. My mom is the most incredible and selfless woman in the world, so my brothers and I wanted to treat her to a nice flower arrangement that we thought she'd really love. I scoured local shops until I found the perfect arrangement here. It was exactly what I knew my mom would love. In fact, I paid EXTRA to ensure that the arrangement was EXACTLY like the photo. I've attached a photo of what I ordered compared to what I received. My heart sunk when I saw it. I actually ordered 2 of them (one for my mother-in-law) but I ended up throwing the second away because they were wilted and I had time to go get a different bouquet unlike the one I gave to my mom. My mom is so sweet, and was happy to receive ANYTHING, but my brothers and I were so disappointed. Kitty was nice enough to offer me the money back on one of the bouquets, which I appreciated. However, I had a very hard time accepting the fact that this bouquet was designed this way "because the flowers they included costed more than the ones in the original photo"... I ordered that exact arrangement for a reason. Yes, I am appreciative that I got the amount back that I did, but this never should have been an issue to begin with. I struggle financially, so this was a triple blow to me. I've learned my lesson to never order flowers online. Always go in to a store. I strongly advise you to do the same.

They created a classy shamrock tribute as one of the standing arrangements, and used Bells of Ireland and orchids and created pieces that were as special and unique as my brother was. They were fresh, smelled wonderful, and I took some of the pieces from the casket arrangement, and they lasted for three weeks. They were very kind and compassionate and wowed us with their talent.

She was able to capture the vision and colors that I described to her perfectly. My bouquet was full and absolutely gorgeous. It lasted for a full week after the wedding! The flowers were high quality and fresh. We used pink, yellow, and purple and she balanced the colors and merged them together seamlessly. She did silk flower arrangements on an arch and in two large candelabras at the front of the church. She also did a fresh altar arrangement and we rented vases with branches to line the aisle. All of her work transformed the church! The first time I walked in I couldn't believe it was the same space. It was truly stunning. We also had her fill teacups that we provided with flowers. She did beautiful and varied arrangements that we used on our tables to hold the table numbers at the reception. With very little input she came up with arrangements that fit in with the theme perfectly and that family members enjoyed for at least a week and a half after the wedding. Kelly was very willing to set up meetings and easy to talk to. I was able to describe what I envisioned and she ran with it! We were very impressed with the quality of her work and with her service. We have used her since the wedding for other reasons, including my dad's business and funerals, and we continue to be impressed! Throughout all subsequent consultations (once the deposit was made), Carol seemed to push back/question my ideas. "Sunflowers are too casual" (even though they are my favorite flowers), and "Orange is too bold." She pushed me to select pastel colors... the opposite of what I wanted, even though I brought pictures of only bright colors. I tried to keep an open mind throughout all of our meetings since she was the expert and knew what was in season, within budget, etc., but even my simple request for a colorful bouquet was ignored, and I received the one thing I absolutely did not want: an all-white bouquet. Don't get me wrong, it was a lovely bouquet! I was just flabbergasted that of all requests, this one seemed like an easy one. At our final meeting before the wedding, she told me she had lost all the photos from our studio appointment, which is essentially a practice round for centerpieces. We also had 3 types of arrangements at our reception hall... low, medium, and tall. We opted for only 4 of the tall variety, as they were quite pricey. In all, the room did not need any tall centerpieces. I will also mention, our low centerpieces were lovely. I wish she had advised us to only use low and medium sizes. I emphasized that I was looking for lush bouquets for my bridesmaids (on a budget, but still full). The only way I can describe how they turned out is "spikey." So, in comparison, I'm happy I had a lush white bouquet rather than a colorful spikey one. To my surprise, walking into the wedding reception, I saw we had a HUGE head table floral piece that we didn't ask for (and frankly looked like something for a funeral home), and those flowers would have been much better utilized in the pieces we actually wanted... pretty bouquets. If I ignore the flowers, the wedding day itself was absolutely perfect. It is just a shame to spend so much on a detail I disliked. I'm not one to provide a negative review, but felt inclined to inform other brides who are still shopping. I'm sure she is as talented as the other brides have explained, but that was certainly not my experience.
