After going to really snobby, stuffy and high pressured shops that did not care about my budget or what I really wanted, I cannot say enough good things about this shop. My whole experience was delightful and memorable from start to finish. When I came for my first visit, the girls were really attentive and took time to get to know me. They really took the time to hear my wedding vision. They didn't make me feel pressured to pick and buy a dress, in fact they helped me find that perfect wedding dress. It was in the upcoming season and had to return 6 a few months later. They were very good with staying in touch and letting me know when the new line arrived. When I finally returned to try the new season, the girls were again, amazing in their service. They helped me realise my vision by customising part of my dress that made it perfectly my own. They always made me feel like I was the most important customer and even with my bridesmaids, the staff shared in our wedding fun. Despite all the tweaks and customising, my dress remained within budget. The shop was really good and helped me meet my budget and creating my perfect dress. They were also very good at fitting my appointments around my hectic schedule. They paid attention to every detail and it showed it the quality of my custom pieces and alterations. I highly recommend this shop for the best wedding dress shopping experience. I have left not just as a thoroughly satisfied customer, but I have left feeling like I've made some new friends in these lovely ladies.

She was able to advise where to get shoes that were very elegant but also comfortable and has since offered the services of a colleague who is going to dye them. I took my friend wedding dress shopping here and it was the worst dress shopping experience I have…read moreever had; we were 10 minutes early and was told to leave and come back so we had to wait outside in the cold and rain before going back into the shop. Yes, there is a café across the road but we had just come from having coffee and didn't wish to go again. When we were eventually let back in to the shop, the guy who sits in the front window was not welcoming at all and didn't introduce himself. We were not offered a drink (even just water), the woman who worked there didn't introduce herself and didn't ask any questions about the wedding. She was extremely rude and dismissive of any comments or questions I made that in the end I just kept my mouth shut for fear of being scolded like a child. Shopping for a wedding dress with your girlfriend should be an exciting and fun experience but this was just anxiety provoking and in a city like London where wedding dress shops are a dime a dozen, good service is of the up most importance. A few of my other friends are getting married and I will certainly not be returning to Tantrums and Tiaras with them after the way we were treated.
