The best part for my toddler is you can buy a cup of random, loose, used Lego parts! He loves building random, circuit board creations. Downside is they don't have the Corn Mayor mini-figure. They have birthday parties here!! read more

Bricks and Minifigs was a really cool place to visit. Located in the Chuck-E-Cheese strip mall it was the perfect place to stop after our party. They have tons of different Legos - sets and figures - at a variety of price points. My son was able to customize 3 Lego figures for a fair price, and the workers kindly gave him an additional figure when he said it was his birthday. There was a handful of kids in the store, and they were all having a great time. They also buy Lego/Lego sets, but I have yet to try to sell anything here yet myself. I will definitely keep it in mind for the future though. read more

The store is a Lego persons heaven. Retired sets and new both built and in box. We took in some in box sets for store credit and definitely got good value for the sets we traded in. The service was impeccable. Jimmy and another young man aka Star Wars expert were super helpful and made us feel very welcomed. We left with a retired set from Jurassic Park and felt comfortable with the price. Thank you for all your help and we look forward to driving back down to Stevenson ranch soon. read more

I feel a lot of gratitude to the team here. I hosted my son's bday party not knowing what to expect. To my relief, everything turned out wonderfully. The kids had so much fun building Lego cars to race and the staff was helpful and patient during the whole process. Without hesitation I'd recommend this Bricks & Minifigs to any/all parents interested in hosting an event here. They have balloons and a happy birthday backdrop along with table covers to help keep the event festive. It was really nice and I'm glad I didn't decorate further, because honestly, the kids don't care. What the team provided was great and they really took care of us. Oh! There's a tv in the room too if you want to compile photos to play a slideshow. It's a nice option I'd recommend taking advantage of. Overall - great time, great value, great team. read more

Customer Service: I arrived 20 minutes before closing, and the second thing the employees told me (after welcoming me in) was to take my time! While I did leave before closing time, I was thoroughly impressed by the politeness and willingness of the employees to stay open. On the basis of politeness, the employees were incredibly amicable, and their knowledge of the products and presentation of that knowledge is incredibly professional. Ambience: The store, while small, has an incredibly welcoming feel to it. The employees friendly demeanor only adds to the charm of the store, and provides an excellent place to browse, ask questions about the products, or just have an "in-and-out" shopping trip. Value: I purchased a retired sealed set, two minifigures, and a third-party display case. Upon doing the math, every product was appropriately priced compared to the reseller website Bricklink, accounting for shipping costs and adding a "convenience" upcharge. What I paid felt extremely fair for what I got, as an experienced Bricklink user of many years. I would recommend this store to anyone looking to find a new set to add to their collection, a nostalgic set or minifigure they missed out on as a kid, or someone just looking for a good place to spend an afternoon! read more

If you are planning to sell your sets or bulk Lego don't bother. I called ahead and asked if they take sets that are not fully assembled and bulk Lego, I was told yes they do and they can find needed pieces to complete sets in the bulk. I asked for average price but was not given an answer just words please come to the store and we will do what we can. I brought 1 box of almost completed sets and 2 boxes of bulk and after waiting for a manager who went to charge his car and was not in the store, he arrived looked at the items, told a sales guy quietly that this stuff is well worth over a thousand dollars and guess what, offered me $40 for everything. To my question of how come they sell figurines from at least $6 - infinity each and there were many he said we will not waste time to dig through and find them and if I want I can separate them and he will give $2 per each. Very disappointed honestly, I drove almost 30 miles one way for this. read more

We called them over the phone to ask if they took bulk trade-ins. They said they did so we took over 10 boxes of bulk Legos, and a box of manuals and boxes. They let us unload the entire lot and haul it into the store, back and forth several times before telling us they would only give us 10 dollars cash for it all because it was "dirty and unsorted" even though the Legos were totally clean and sorted by color and size. It was a completely insulting lowball. Why advertise that you accept trade ins, especially bulk trade ins if you're going to give something as low as $10, which is about what I paid for a breakfast sandwich this morning?? Totally ridiculous. I think they just didn't want to sort through and clean them all, so they just lowballed us so we would leave. I used to work at GameStop, I know what its like to get a massive trade in (it was no fun, but it was part of the job), but I never once screwed with people to get them to leave before I could process them. We wanted to give a local brick and mortar store a chance before selling on eBay, something we usually do with Legos-- we usually get what they're actually worth on there too. We even had a tub full of minifigs, totally put together, which I don't understand why they didn't take considering they sell them for around 20 bucks each in store. So this business not only won't get our patronage, we will tell our friends and family as well not to bother with this establishment, especially our Lego collector friends. I don't think they'll be in business out here very long if they're in the habit of telling people their trades are dirty and outright refusing something that they could have made a lot on. read more
