My spouse and I are gamers and Manga readers so it was a dead giveaway to our family that we'd like the store. The store carries books, comics, Manga, dvds, video games, card games, d&d stuff and even some board games, including the side products like wall scrolls and figures. The family loves the book and comic sections, and frequent the Nintendo and Playstation aisles. No surprise they left with a couple clearance books. We picked up a set of One Piece figures that my husband had been eyeing online but couldn't find a complete set at a single store. EntertainMart had the full set and a couple extras so we were stoked on that find. We even noticed a Nintendo Switch OLED for sell which is out of stock everywhere and if we didn't already own a switch and switch lite we might have grabbed too. We went fairly late so they didn't have much staff on site but there also was only a few customers there. The cashier who helped us was friendly. For being his first couple days on the job, did a good job quickly getting through the multiple spider wraps we had brought up. They use multiple kinds of wraps so he ended up getting a crash course because of us haha. We will definitely continue to stop by when we visit family in town and hope to find some new treasure amongst the shelves.

I was looking to buy a Tikka t3x, Vortex scope and scope rings for my son's 10th birthday. I knew exactly what I wanted and was trying to put the entire package together. From what I could tell there were four men working the gun counter. At times, two men working on the same paperwork. A total of two customers when I walked in. All 4 employees grumbling about what they were doing. Not one even did so much as make eye contact with me for the entire 34 minutes I stood there. I picked out a scope base and scope rings. I left the scope rings and bass on the counter right over top of the scope I had wanted to purchase. I've never had a worse experience at a business in my entire life. There's no excuses for not even acknowledging someone's presence. I've bought many guns and spent a ton of money at North 40 but won't be in the future. North 40s prices are great and I thought I'd give my business to a brick and mortar versus ordering online. With what I experienced today I'm convinced Midway USA will get me my product quicker. This location is very large. Even compared to other Fred Meyers. Some things to know (coincidentally why it's a four star review instead of five): First, the parking lot is awkward to get in and out of. It's shared. It's hard to find a spot. Second, it's expensive. Classy Walmart doesn't come cheap. But definitely worth stopping in if you're looking for a one stop shop.

I remember that day like I made it up in my head just now. I was young and reckless, and a huge halloween hater. I remember it was halloween, and I was cornered by a group of children. My only escape was into the belly of the beast -- spirit. I backed straight into an employee. He asked me if I needed any help. 'Help?' I remember saying. 'You're not going to ask for a treat?'. 'No, ofc not', he said. I explained to him that halloween was all about asking for treats, and that while I was empathetic towards him for having to work here, I hated halloween. He told me halloween was not about 'treats'. He told me about the story of Saint Halbert Wein, the man who created halloween. He told me he had wanted to create a holiday for the poor pumpkin farmers, for he was one himself. He showed me halloween was not a day to be scared, but to be happy for all the beautiful things this world had to offer, like pumpkins and pumpkin farmers. that day, I knew Halloween was not something to fear, but to love. When shopping at this Target, I have encountered mixed experiences. I typically do my essentials…read moregrocery shopping at this location, and it generally covers what I'm looking for. The bathrooms are generally unclean and could use hourly cleaning due to their high traffic. On many occasions, I've found some great pieces, whether it is a knick-knack, makeup, or clothing, etc. When doing exchanges or refunds, it has been a mixed experience. On some occasions, depending on the employee one encounters, it is either fun, average, or unprofessional; there is no in between. One encounter I had was incredibly hostile, and unfortunately, my nephew, a minor, was there to experience a grown man who was a Target employee who targeted my nephew with racism, projected hatred, and entitlement. I asked the Target employee a simple question while checking out. The man was volatile in his retort. The employee screamed at us in an attempt to humiliate us in front of others, and then aggressively threw a basket in our direction. It was an absolutely unacceptable and inappropriate experience. It was clear that the man had a mental health illness and had not been a safe individual to work within a shared environment. He was easily triggered. I reported this man to the manager, and it was handled immediately. As for the value of the products in the store, I would say it is mid-range, with high pricing. You can easily overspend so definitely go in there with a conscious budget.
