My contractor referred me to Brick Industries to take care of some asbestos on old floor tiles we uncovered when we ripped up our floor. I can't say enough great things about them. They came right out as soon as we called to test the tile and were able to get a waiver for the permit to start work immediately due to some moisture. They had the asbestos cleared within 4 days of first coming over and were courteous and clean the entire time. Eric also kept me up to date via text message and all email correspondence was prompt. I requested a proposal to demo a small house. Eric from Brick Indus. informed me they visited the house and found asbestos siding which would cost $1,675 to remove. I met another licensed asbestos abatement contractor at the house a few days later - the contractor found vinyl siding, styrofoam insulation and plywood...NO ASBESTOS SIDING. I called Eric from Brick Indus. to inform him the house did not contain asbestos siding (also sent him photos) and asked him why his proposal had a $1,675 fee to remove the asbestos siding when the was none - Eric was rude to me and said he would look into it and call me back. They went above and beyond at every step, from explaining everything clearly, to coming out to test and provide an estimate right away, removing 1000 sq ft of asbestos tile literally overnight, and following up afterward. This company is too busy for your business - Im back in central NJ where my family has a horse farm with a big barn I want to clear out. It is a big project so my partner and I need to rent a large dumpster/container to dispose of the stuff inside. I looked online for companies who provide container services, but their prices are only revealed upon calling... So the first business I called was the most local one, Brick Industries, thinking they could give me a price on containers / dumpsters and I would order one. The man who answered said "hello" in an angry tone of voice, I told him I needed a price on large containers for the barn cleanout and he rudely told me they "wouldn't be able to help" us - never giving a price or a reason, so I said "dont you rent containers?" and he said "yeah, but we are gonna be busy the next couple of weeks" and then hung up on me-! Maybe they dont have as much equipment or capability as they make it seem online, but I never thought it would be so hard to find a company who rents garbage dumpsters in New Jersey. Brick Industries proved me wrong, they are too busy to rent a dumpster to a job in Howell - a town so close to theirs. If you are looking for garbage disposal dont waste your time calling them, I never got a price or a good time to call back - this company straight up told me they dont want any extra business as they said they are already too busy for new customers. read more
