I called and said I was looking for a solid wood door to use as a table top for a workbench. The gal who answered the phone said she was sure I could find what I was looking for at about $60. I arrived later, saw George and told him what his gal said over the phone. He said I'm sure I can find what you want for about $40. He could have easily said nothing and sold me the door (which was perfect for my needs) and made a full $60. But, George is honest and has always dealt that way. I've purchased materials from him for 20 years now and will continue to check with him first on any of my needs.
