Great for browsing - no pressure, just walk around and look and read. Very nice cookbook section, and we really appreciate the American history books. It's also located next to the 394 Grill, so a delicious lunch followed by a bookstore visit makes for one terrific afternoon.

I am particularly interested in art books, and books about antiques and collectibles. I saw books there that it took me years to find, or that I had never seen before. I particularly enjoy going through the selection of unusual pamphlets--I have found treasures in those boxes!

The prices are unbelievably reasonable, this is a curated collection by a woman passionate about books, making a living off of it feels secondary here to the passion of finding the books. My husband and his sister got a couple of beers and they were delicious. I like how you can get a book and get a beer and just sit there and enjoy. Staff was super friendly and fun He was playing old dance '80s music and had us laughing and dancing in her chairs. In the back is art studio with lots of items to purchase. We stopped in while out-n-about shopping in the Hudson area…read more The staff are a lot of fun and we're playing some early 90's pop tunes which made for a great time singing together while drinking great craft beer at the bar. They have a great variety of books available for sale and they don't seem to mind if you reading one while enjoying your coffee or cold brew. In the back they have a large space with art supplies; just about anything one would need to get started and beyond. My mom purchased a few paint brushes and I purchased a round of beers for our group. Pricing is quite affordable - craft beer was $6.48 each and my mom's Saranac soda was $2.78. The store is immaculately kept and the restroom was clean. We had a great time while visiting the area and would come back again next time we're in town.

I have never walked in and not been wowed by various sized crystals. They also always have new crystals and change the displays which brings amazing energy in. The small crystal bins are fabulous and their jewelry is absolutely beautiful. I wish they had more separate tables and chairs bc it gets packed but this is a nice place to kill some time, come w ur partner, or just do some work. Their drinks are amazing! Anyway, its a cute bookstore and cafe, they have the spacing nailed pretty well where you can browse casually while others are on line to order and not feel entirely overwhelmed. It was pretty packed when I was there but didn't feel stuffy, there is also seating towards the window. Overall positive experience, and I picked an interesting book for my book club.
