We loved the photos on her website and she was within our budget. We met up with Kristen for engagement photos first. I HATE having my photograph taken and I was nervous about the process. Kristen managed to make both of us look fantastic and most importantly, natural! Some of my favorite pictures were pictures I wasn't even aware she was taking! When it came to the wedding, Kristen exceeded my expectations. We got beautiful pictures to the point where we're having a hard time picking our favorites. Everything came out beautiful and I couldn't be happier. Plus, we received our pictures back very quickly. Highly recommend!

Kristen did both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. Both came out great. Despite the sudden rain during our photo hour, she was able to capitalize the room we had. A friend recommended Nancy and from the very first contact, she was delightful to work with: friendly, approachable, and professional. She made the photo session comfortable and fun (not at all the awkward experience I feared). It was also great to work with a skilled photographer and professional businesswoman who delivers exactly what she says she promises within record time. I'm thrilled with the results and only wonder why I waited so long! I recommend Nancy highly.

Without a doubt, Nancy captured the essence of our wedding day! She first came to our family home…read moreto shoot photos of me and my bridesmaids getting ready and then booked it to the church (an hour away) to get some candid shots of the groom and groomsmen before the ceremony. After the ceremony, we met up at a beautiful lookout point (at Nancy's great suggestion!) to do family and bridal party photos before heading to the beach and dock near our reception for more photos. She also photographed throughout our ceremony and reception. I mention all these different settings because in each one Nancy knew exactly how to go with the flow while still executing a well-thought out plan based on our phone conversations leading up to the Big Day. (We live in DC and had our wedding on Cape Cod so meeting in person was not possible due to distance, although Nancy offered!). Small things - now reviewing the photos - made all the difference: where to place bouquets (at the belly button!) and reminding us gently of good posture really brought our final photos to a whole new level of quality! Most importantly - and a huge reason I am recommending Nancy to future brides - I like to consider myself a low-maintenance bride and Nancy really respected this throughout the course of the day. I can honestly say that I did not see her during the ceremony - though she captured GREAT shots - and I hardly saw her during the reception. This was important to me as I have attended weddings that made me feel like I was being hounded by the paparazzi - and I was only a guest! Nancy maintained a respectful distance so the events of the day could unfold while still being in tune with all the special moments that make for great photography. Finally, Nancy puts all her energy and attention into making a bride and groom feel special. On Valentine's Day, she sent a treat to celebrate our upcoming nuptials and on the wedding day, she kindly showed us how to best cut the cake together to avoid a mess and ALWAYS remained focused on making sure my dress was not getting torn or dirty by our surroundings - think beach, sand. These small touches really made for a great day! Thank you, Nancy! If anyone should want to chat over phone or email, just get in touch with Nancy and she can pass along my contact information! Yay for great wedding photos from Nancy! :) Caroline

We strongly believe that your wedding should be as unique as your relationship. We wanted our day…read moreto feel precisely that, a day that clearly represented us - The groom was American; the bride was British. We met through Instagram because of the bride's love of vintage 1950s dresses, and the groom's love of her in them. We opted to elope and we agreed on two non-negotiable things, that we wanted to elope in Salem, MA where the groom was originally from, and that we would need to have the perfect photographer to capture our day. Enter Lindsey. Looking at her website, through multiple galleries and blogs we knew she would fit our vibe. That was confirmed all around after our first video call. Lindsey was warm, friendly, made us feel comfortable to just be our silly selves, as well as understanding that we wanted something a little different and she was eager to get involved. We had a couple of video calls to run through thoughts and ideas, but generally we knew we could trust Lindsey to guide us through the day. Lindsey followed us the entire day, no matter where we wanted to go. She was a fly on the wall, as we spent the day lost in each other. She even caught moments when neither of us thought she was even taking photographs. And the photos, the hundreds of them, all turned out beautifully! Lindsey has an amazing eye, as well as the determination, to capture those truly special moments that you want captured. We started our adventure together at the Jolie Tea Company, having high tea, something the bride loves and wanted to incorporate. We exchanged vows at The House of the Seven Gables. Lindsey captured it all for us, our more casual outing, getting ready for the ceremony, our first look, the different locations, all the beautiful scenery, the bride's multiple dress changes, even that bloody ocean that kept us apart for so long. But most importantly ... she captured our love. A talented photographer makes all the difference in the world. Lindsey offers more than being 'just' your photographer. Idea machine, general planner, hype person and friend. We will forever be grateful to her for her dedication in capturing the spirit of who we are and what we were trying to do. Anyone would be lucky to have Lindsey documenting their wedding.

We booked her for our wedding in 2020 (not knowing what was to come), and were really impressed when she scheduled an engagement photoshoot with us. We were very camera shy, but she made us feel so comfortable and really helped us come out of our shells for some beautiful photos. We were so excited for the wedding, but were devastated when we had to postpone. Lindsey was super understanding and kept working with us as we worked out a new date in 2021. Luckily, restrictions were loosened a couple months before our wedding so we were on! At first, we were really worried about planning the reception with new restrictions, but Lindsey stepped in and showed us how prepared she was for the changes at the venue. Ask her for the big PDF to get a good idea of how simple she makes the wedding timeline look. We filled out a detailed questionnaire for any special photos we wanted captured, and the people required for our bridal party / family group shots. Even though I thought there were so many requests, "Soccer Mom" Lindsey was amazing on the day of the wedding, getting everyone in and out for photos lightning fast, so that they could go back and enjoy the reception. It was a whirlwind in the moment, but looking back at the photos, we are so happy we got every group shot we requested, and they were all so fun! From morning to late night, Lindsey and her assistant were there for us, rolling with the last-minute issues and focused on making us look great! They really went the extra mile to make us and our families feel comfortable, and worked non-stop the whole day. We really appreciate her style and editing, and were floored with how many amazing photos we got. My wife looks stunning, the venue was mystical, and she really captured how much fun friends and family were having circle dancing at the reception :) Thank you Lindsey for for all of your hard work and effort in capturing our special day
