Briana!! The love we have for you is beyond compare. Best photographer in New England! Ok, I can't say that. But she's gotta be up there. We hired Briana and her husband James to be our photographers at our wedding in 2013. After looking at Briana's portfolio, we were expecting big things. Somehow she exceeded our expectations. Since we were not living in New England at the time, Briana suggested a Skype chat. We had so much fun talking to Briana and getting to know her. She was just our style - super creative, yet not pretentious. She "got" us and our vision, and we knew it from the first 5 minutes we met her. The package we got came with an engagement shoot. We decided to do it in the beautiful scenery in Cambridge. Lots of old brick and cobble stone. Lots of beautiful architecture. Lots of greenery. Briana brought it all out, and then some. It was a great way to get to know Briana better, and she very quickly got to know our quirks and personalities. It was really fun, but more importantly it exposed us to each other before wedding day. I credit this shoot with allowing us to be super calm and comfortable on wedding day. I know I know . . . most photographers offer and do engagement shoots. But not a lot of them offer them for free with the wedding packages AND have Briana's personality. Briana was so easy to work with. Wedding day was a dream. She got an incredible number of great shots, and we have an amazing documentation of our day. We didn't hire a videographer, so our pics were super important to us. Briana created a great STORY out of our day and our lives together for the 10 hours we were together. We recommended Briana to a friend and they hired her for their wedding in Maine last weekend. Briana is absolutely amazing. She was recommended to us by a friend that had amazing wedding photos. The emotion she portrays in her photography makes you feel part of every moment she captures. After our initial meet-up with Briana, we were blown away. She is at the same time the kindest and the most professional person you will ever encounter. She is incredibly creative and is happy to mold your vision into something beautiful, meaningful and unique. Neither of us had experience in a heavily photographed situation, so Briana also offered incredibly helpful advice in how to best achieve the aesthetic we envisioned. From our engagement shoot in Central Park to our wedding in Maine, she immediately keyed into the best locations and shot them beautifully. Briana kept the stress to a minimum at all times. When it poured rain during our outdoor ceremony and there was a quick turn around to an indoor ceremony, I cried futilely. Briana quickly stepped in to offer to photograph in Portland, where we were flying out of the next day, if we didn't get the shots we were hoping for. Due to Briana's incredible skill, every photo came out perfect, and there was no need for additional photos. Briana's patience and proficiency extends to pets and small children. She got amazing shots of sometimes screaming children. By the end of the engagement and wedding shoots, our dog was completely in love with her and would attempt to leave the photos to go sit with her. The photos she took of our dog are incredible; she is the rare artist who captures the personality of everyone she photographs. Briana also had edited our photos within 2 weeks (ridiculous right? 9 hours of photography, edited and compiled in 2 weeks). I have friends who have not received photos in months. Briana was in the middle of a major relocation, and where some people may have not produced photos because of that, she used it as motivation. This speaks volumes to her dedication. Bottom line - if you are considering Briana for your project, choose her. She is fantastic in every way. I feel lucky that Briana photographed our wedding. It did not take long for me to realize that Briana and I were meant to be when it came to wedding photography. I've been Briana's friends for a couple years and I've seen her grow as an artist and human being. Her photographs have soul, thought, and emotion. My husband is really shy when it comes to photographs. I'm super outgoing and I love photos, being a professional photographer myself. I wanted someone who really knew how to capture the essence of the couple, while doing amazing photojournalistic coverage of the rest of the day. Briana even came down to NYC to do an engagement shoot for us in our favorite places in Central Park. She was patient, kind, and also creative, thinking outside of the box and making us laugh. On the day of the wedding, similarly, she put my husband at ease and gave me the most treasured wedding photographs I could ask for. When I look back I could see the peace of the getting ready moments in the morning, the excitement on our faces as we exchanged our vows, the absolute fun we had at our reception. Briana's ability in editing the photographs are also top notch - she finds the right balance of exposure and colors that bring out the mood of the wedding, and truly makes every wedding she captures - no matter how diverse they are - unique to the couple. Briana is extremely talented. With her as my photographer I didn't have to give lots of suggestions and ideas. We took our pictures in formal-ish attire when it was about 40 degrees outside, and she made the experience less painful and more fun, even though we were freezing our buns off. My husband is not one for getting his photo taken, and she was even able to get him smile and to enjoy the process, which otherwise would have been pretty difficult for him. She had images for me to see pretty shortly after the wedding and offered affordable options for ordering prints, etc. i would recommend her for weddings, family photos, engagements, art shoots, etc, because I think she is a truly talented artist the captures her subjects in a beautiful and unique way that only an artist could truly do. read more

Bri is awesome on just about every level imaginable! Not only is she a wonderful person and a super talented photographer, but she came all the way from BOSTON to North Carolina to shoot our wedding and took the most lovely photos of our day, at a venue she's never stepped foot on before! We were lucky enough to meet Briana at my future sister-in-law's wedding. She took amazing photos while making the bride and groom more at ease. My fiancée and I were very happy with her work and decided to hire her for our engagement photos. We had a rather unique request in that we asked her to come up to our lake house for a night to get some intimate outdoor shots of us. She was willing to make the trip to Lake Winnipesaukee for the night and I was thrilled! She was very easy to work with and was more than willing to work with our schedule. She was actually excited to stand in waist deep water to get the right shot. We brainstormed ideas and came up with some really creative scenes. Briana really made it easy for Guy and I to feel comfortable in front of the camera. Who knew getting your picture taken could be so memorable?! We are more than happy with the results of our photos and we have only seen a sneak peek so far! All of our friends and family have been raving about what they have seen. We booked Briana for our 6/4/16 wedding on a yacht in Boston Harbor. She also did our engagement photos the summer beforehand in Cambridge. As lovely as some photographers are, there are sometimes unfortunately some who are very difficult, which makes it all the better when you get to work with one of the good ones! Briana is definitely of the latter. Briana shot our engagement photos and she'll be shooting our wedding in June. She is very accessible, incredibly sweet, and she takes beautiful and natural photos.
