From the beginning, she asked thoughtful questions to understand what we were hoping for, gave suggestions on potential locations, and explained how everything would work while checking in along the way to make sure how we'd work together worked for us. On the morning of the shoot (we picked a sunrise option down by the water in the city) she took a wide variety of shots and she is amazing with dogs- she was patient with our new puppy, knew how to capture his attention, and we walked around to different spots that allowed for greater variety of backdrops and lighting as the sun came up. Once the photos were ready she did a fantastic job walking us through the options and came prepared with real materials (frames, photo album covers, samples) that really helped us envision what the final products might look like. When our selections were ready, she brought them beautifully packaged- it was like opening a series of gifts! Blue herself is an absolute pleasure to work with- she knows her stuff, is super responsive, and has fantastic ideas. The way she runs her business makes it easy to understand each step of the process, and she uses tech in a way that is easy to engage (e.g. upfront intake form, selection tool for photos, etc.) paired with high-touch service. We really enjoyed working with Blue and hope to do future shoots as our pup grows up. Thank you Blue- we love the photos and working with you!

Due to a progressive illness with my dog Minnie, I decided I wanted to memorialize be beloved Beagle Minnie with a photo session by Dog Breath Photography. What was supposed to be a 3-hour session turned into 5 amazing hours spent together visiting two local parks and then a return to my home for some candid shots of Minnie in her natural surroundings. She offers several affordable packages including variable-sized canvas prints, customized photo books as well as a- la-carte options. Kaylee had all my photographs uploaded to her password-protected site within five days of our session which was quite impressive considering she took nearly 400 photos. I had the ability to mark photos as 'favorites' and add comments to them. She used Drop-Box to share the proof of my custom photo book which was very convenient and from start to finish, I received excellent communication. There's nothing like meeting somebody whose talent you've admired from afar only to realize when you meet them in person that they're the real deal. This girl LOVES what she does and her enthusiasm is infectious. The photographs she took of Minnie are simply stunning. I've always thought Minnie's best feature was her expressive face, but I never imagined her soul could be captured so perfectly by the lenses of Kaylee's camera. I can offer no higher recommendation than this. She's that good of a pet photographer.

Finally one random day I came across Dog Breath Photography and I knew I found the right photographer. Her photos were young and fresh and seemed to capture each pet perfectly. I emailed her and we got to planning. Kaylee calmed my nerves about my dog not being the best behaved and showed several before and afters of her photoshop skills (got rid of a leash, background people, etc). On the day of the photo shoot we met in the Public Garden to get started. Immediately I felt at ease. She took to my pup right away and was so excited I couldn't help but be even more excited! Over the course of our shoot we went to several locations to give variety to the photos. All fantastic ideas from Kaylee. Kaylee is quirky in a way that is not only endearing but also shows her confidence in her photos. I took a quick glance at a few photos and was just blown away. After the shoot she emailed me detailed instructions on how to review my photos (which only took about 3 days to get back!) and offered several packages to choose from, all which were reasonably priced. There were so many great photos to choose from that I was just overwhelmed. Wonderful job! I would totally recommend Dog Breath Photography for your pet photo needs!

She was the very first vendor booked for our wedding, meaning we had a photographer before we even had a venue. I can't begin to express how thrilled I am with the results of her wedding photography. It's impossible to understand what people mean when they tell you that your wedding day will fly by in a blur, but it is the truest statement I've ever heard. Everything flies by in a completely inexplicable way, so I can't thank Li enough for capturing every little detail of the entire day. She specializes in authentic photos that capture the true emotion in every moment. Her photos aren't staged or corny. They're real. And on a day when everything is planned down to the minute, you need someone like Li to capture authenticity, and even a bit of spontaneity. Li has a sixth sense and picks up on special moments when you don't even know they're happening. On top of her incredible skill as a photographer, she's just an awesome down-to-earth person to have around. There's something very comfortable and calming about her presence, which again, is quite necessary to have around on an incredibly hectic day. A thousand times, thank you Li! You're truly an incredible photographer.

Deciding whether or not it was worth the money, time, effort, etc. Clearly I decided to do it and let me tell you- IT WAS 100% WORTH IT ALL. I didn't have any idea where to go to take photos- so Dog Proof set up an absolute perfect array of places to take her. We went to wide open fields, beautiful lakes, graffiti walls, bridges- it was quiet the adventure. Ruth had a blast! Unlike most photo studios, Dog Proof let Ruth be a dog. They captured her jumping for her tennis ball, digging in the sand, exploring the woods. Every single photo showcased Ruth having the time of her life, enjoying being a dog. Not to mention, Ang is not afraid to get muddy! She got in the dirt to take half of our photos- getting the best of Ruth's angles! It was incredible to see her work!! When the photos came back, we were stunned. These photos will last a lifetime, moments that I could never have captured on my own, that are hanging on our walls forever. I can't thank Dog Proof enough for giving my family such a beautiful gift. If you're on the fence about getting your pups photographed- I suggest you do it!
