The only problem was we didn't know any photographers...Thanks to Yelp and Google we were able to find Heather. We are from Pennsylvania so we had a long distance relationship until the day we met Heather for the pictures. Heather was great from day one, she made everything so easy for us and we couldn't have asked for more. Heather was easy to work with and she made us laugh from the first photo to the last. She was very professional and is truly an artist. We visited numerous locations throughout Boston and it was a great time. We will never forget Heather laying in the middle of an intersection with cars honking just to get that perfect picture of us. During the pictures, Heather was giving us great food recommendations for our visits to Boston but we didn't have a chance to write them all down. So about 20 minutes after we left Heather we received a text listing every restaurant we had spoke about from her. We ended up going to one of her suggestions for lunch that day and it was delicious! We can't thank Heather enough for her artistry and professionalism. Heather will come highly recommend from us for many years to come!

Our friends and family are constantly commenting on their love for our pictures! Having received all of our photos from Heather, I can honestly say that when you look at her portfolio and see the beautiful sample pictures - this is truly the product you'll receive. We also love that we get all of the images on DVD in B&W and color. It's ridiculous to me that some photographers will limit the number of images you receive or just generally limit your options when it comes to the photos of YOUR OWN wedding ... such is not the case here, and that is really fabulous ... particularly given that you'll want to show the whole world your photos. Hire her.

When my husband and I first met Jimmy and Anya, it was as if we had known each other for years! They have amazing personalities-which was something we had been looking for in our wedding photographers. We wanted someone who could ease our nerves, since we had never been professionally photographed before and someone who would make us feel comfortable and they did just that! On our wedding day they spent the entire day with us, Anya started the day at the salon with me and my girls and Jimmy started the day at the hotel that my husband was staying at. They didn't leave until our final dance was over! Jimmy and Anya made us laugh the whole time-which I loved-they were amazing all day! We had many many compliments about how wonderful they were and how beautiful our Photos are! The day we picked up our photos, they invited us over to their home where we spent a couple hours talking and cracking up just like old friends! The wedding slideshow they put together for us made me cry and still does when I watch it! This meeting was bittersweet for us, we loved them so much and we didn't want our time together to end! Good thing they offer family portrait sessions for when we start our family! My husband and I are so happy we found Jimmy and Anya and we would recommend them in a heartbeat (which we already have!)

We have never been comfortable being the center of attention, let alone having thousands of photos taken of us, but our shoots were fun, stress-free, and we left feeling confident. Our engagement and wedding photos came out amazing, relaxed, and most important to me, they looked natural and true to us. On the day of our wedding, Anya and Jimmy helped to keep us smiling and relaxed, and we and our guests LOVED when they surprised us with a sneak preview of some of the wedding photos on a slideshow set up on a table at the reception. It was really nice for our guests (and us) to be able to see some of the photos that were taken during the cocktail hour. All emails and phone calls were responded to very quickly, we felt the price for their services was beyond fair and reasonable, the quality and insight of their photos is impeccable, and honestly, they were just a true pleasure to work with! They will be our Go-To photographers for all major life events from here forward!

We had some last minute changes and Chris kept a great attitude the whole time, he worked with us in many different ways. Not only is his photography beautiful, but the fact that he truly cares about the client is even more valuable and hard to find these days.

Luckily, he connected us with Chris, who immediately did a call with us the next morning (the day before our wedding). Chris had been given our engagement photos, so he had a sense for our style, and he walked us through the day and the information he needed. Most importantly to us was to have our photographer take charge, and keep our families on task, while paying attention to the details so we didn't have to. To say that Chris did that would be an understatement. He arrived at the hotel even earlier than we asked, and immediately brought positive energy into the space. Once we moved to the venue, he efficiently directed our very lively friends and family through all of the poses and photos we wanted without us needing to say a word. My wife and I were truly able to just enjoy the day, knowing we'd get everything we asked for. Chris edits all of his photos individually by hand so that we got only the best, and he truly captured the New England fall essence. Chris gets our highest recommendation and we feel so lucky that we got to work with him!

We strongly believe that your wedding should be as unique as your relationship. We wanted our day…read moreto feel precisely that, a day that clearly represented us - The groom was American; the bride was British. We met through Instagram because of the bride's love of vintage 1950s dresses, and the groom's love of her in them. We opted to elope and we agreed on two non-negotiable things, that we wanted to elope in Salem, MA where the groom was originally from, and that we would need to have the perfect photographer to capture our day. Enter Lindsey. Looking at her website, through multiple galleries and blogs we knew she would fit our vibe. That was confirmed all around after our first video call. Lindsey was warm, friendly, made us feel comfortable to just be our silly selves, as well as understanding that we wanted something a little different and she was eager to get involved. We had a couple of video calls to run through thoughts and ideas, but generally we knew we could trust Lindsey to guide us through the day. Lindsey followed us the entire day, no matter where we wanted to go. She was a fly on the wall, as we spent the day lost in each other. She even caught moments when neither of us thought she was even taking photographs. And the photos, the hundreds of them, all turned out beautifully! Lindsey has an amazing eye, as well as the determination, to capture those truly special moments that you want captured. We started our adventure together at the Jolie Tea Company, having high tea, something the bride loves and wanted to incorporate. We exchanged vows at The House of the Seven Gables. Lindsey captured it all for us, our more casual outing, getting ready for the ceremony, our first look, the different locations, all the beautiful scenery, the bride's multiple dress changes, even that bloody ocean that kept us apart for so long. But most importantly ... she captured our love. A talented photographer makes all the difference in the world. Lindsey offers more than being 'just' your photographer. Idea machine, general planner, hype person and friend. We will forever be grateful to her for her dedication in capturing the spirit of who we are and what we were trying to do. Anyone would be lucky to have Lindsey documenting their wedding.

We booked her for our wedding in 2020 (not knowing what was to come), and were really impressed when she scheduled an engagement photoshoot with us. We were very camera shy, but she made us feel so comfortable and really helped us come out of our shells for some beautiful photos. We were so excited for the wedding, but were devastated when we had to postpone. Lindsey was super understanding and kept working with us as we worked out a new date in 2021. Luckily, restrictions were loosened a couple months before our wedding so we were on! At first, we were really worried about planning the reception with new restrictions, but Lindsey stepped in and showed us how prepared she was for the changes at the venue. Ask her for the big PDF to get a good idea of how simple she makes the wedding timeline look. We filled out a detailed questionnaire for any special photos we wanted captured, and the people required for our bridal party / family group shots. Even though I thought there were so many requests, "Soccer Mom" Lindsey was amazing on the day of the wedding, getting everyone in and out for photos lightning fast, so that they could go back and enjoy the reception. It was a whirlwind in the moment, but looking back at the photos, we are so happy we got every group shot we requested, and they were all so fun! From morning to late night, Lindsey and her assistant were there for us, rolling with the last-minute issues and focused on making us look great! They really went the extra mile to make us and our families feel comfortable, and worked non-stop the whole day. We really appreciate her style and editing, and were floored with how many amazing photos we got. My wife looks stunning, the venue was mystical, and she really captured how much fun friends and family were having circle dancing at the reception :) Thank you Lindsey for for all of your hard work and effort in capturing our special day

Nicole was such a pleasure to work with, from our initial phone conversations to meeting in person to design our wedding album. We were so fortunate to have Nicole and her team photograph our special day. Nicole, Karen, and Phoebe arrived promptly to our hotel and immediately went to work photographing our day. They were all incredibly professional, friendly, and organized. I have never met anyone that was as organized as Nicole. She really spends time planning everything out so that the day runs smoothly. Nicole and her crew also worked very well with our videographer. They complemented each other well. Not only is Nicole invested in quality photographs, but she is invested in getting to know the couple. Nicole called us several times before the wedding to talk about how we met and to share our story. We really appreciated this because not only did it allow Nicole to learn more about us, but she was somehow able to capture the essence of our relationship in her photographs. Nicole pays great attention to detail. She has extraordinary vision. You can tell she has a true talent for this. We joked with Nicole that we are awkward in photos, but Nicole eased our nerves and miraculously overcame our photo-awkwardness! We also want to thank Nicole for her patience with photographing our dogs, Dallas and Bradley, on our wedding day. They even brought a squeaky ball to get the attention of our pups during photoshoots (and even doggy bags for any stops along the way--superb service!). Nicole works with you and goes through a detailed plan on who you would like her to focus on whether it be friends, family, wedding party, etc. She is also open to all your ideas about the types of photographs you would like. When it was time to design our photo album, Nicole invited us to her studio to watch a slideshow of our photos on a projector. This was truly an experience, and it really brought back such wonderful memories. We designed a high-quality photo album and it is truly breathtaking. Nicole, thank you and your crew for such an amazing job on our wedding. We can't thank you enough for all you have done for us. The pictures came out better than we could have ever imagined. Thank you for being so fun to work with and for allowing us to share with you our love story. We highly recommend Nicole Chan Photography.

She responded very quickly and was able to book soon, which is what we were hoping for. In getting ready for the photo shoot, I messaged back and forth with her about what we should wear, to include sending pictures of our outfits. She gave good feedback and recommendations. I was nervous about making sure we looked good together, but not matching TOO well and looking cheesy. I felt really good about the outfit decisions after working with her, which made me confident in the shoot. We booked an hour long shoot and decided to start in our home and then transition outside. Now my family consists of my husband and me, plus our dog and two cats. Though our pets were not the most cooperative during the shoot, Marina was very patient and happy to work with us to get decent photos with all the pets (yep, even the cats). We ended up spending about 45 min in our home and then drove to a nearby park to take photos outside. Marina found a great spot to start and after taking several shots there, we walked around and went to a spot my husband and I frequented. We spent about 45 min there too, so the total time we had with her was about 1.5 hrs. She did not even mention the extra time and before we were done, wanted to make very sure there weren't any other locations or shots we wanted. We really appreciate the fact that she cared and wanted to make sure we were satisfied. The pictures turned out beautifully. We are very happy with the final product and even the unedited photos are worth printing!
