And I understand why they're so busy--they're really good at what they do. Once you become an established patient, I've found that email can be a much more effective way to communicate when you need something, as getting through by phone can sometimes be challenging. My provider, Ronaldo, is amazing--caring, empathetic, compassionate, and genuinely invested in helping me manage my spine issues and pain. My treatment has changed over the years as my needs have changed, and I appreciate that they know my history and continue to adjust my care accordingly. Because of the care I've received, I'm able to function day-to-day and continue working full-time, which means a lot to me. If you're dealing with back pain or spine problems, don't feel like you have to manage it all on your own. I know because I tried doing that for a while, and it wasn't the answer. There are better ways to manage chronic pain than simply trying to push through it or relying on over-the-counter pain medication every day. If you can get established with this office and take advantage of the communication options available to you, I truly believe you can be well cared for. Give them a chance to help you. More importantly.. They lied repeatedly about not receiving the numerous referrals my primary doctor sent over a 5 month period. My doctor tried every way they suggested. In the end.. They said they couldn't take me back now (was trying to get back in after a year or so away due to increasing pain levels) because I had an msa. Funny thing is i was previously told that would be fine. It's self administered. It would've been easier to bill me than the insurance companies. Due to an administrative wait and because they didn't know how to handle things.. I suffered in pain for 5 months. I ended up going elsewhere. Thank God! Nerve damage like this was worse than any pinched nerves I've ever had and its still not normal. Not enough staff to handle the paperwork here.
