Even though our drywall issue wasn't urgent, we did want to take care of it as soon as possible. I was a little leery about hiring an unknown person who has such few reviews, but our previous go-to person has proven to take shortcuts and do a poor job. We contacted Ash on a Saturday afternoon/evening and he came the next day (Sunday morning). Ash was easy to work with and very easy to discuss our needs. He answered every single question we had, and he was very generous with his knowledge; he explained what products he was using and what purpose they served. He gave us a fair estimate and didn't change the price after the job was done. I felt as though he has a lot of integrity and compassion for people who need budget-friendly assistance, and you can genuinely tell he wants to help others. I was also busy finishing a job when they were painting, and they were very patient waiting for me to come outside to answer questions and pick paint chips. There was one trim color I absolutely hated, but didn't know how to change it (it was the wood rafters under the overhang and beams which supported the roof which the previous flippers had just painted "poop" brown to hide the imperfections in the rotting spots. Lenny advised me on a darker shade of the existing Trim color which I liked and had never thought of. Not only did that color work great, they even glued some of the rotting wood spots. I was also nervous about the porch paint since the flippers had used a terrible quality paint which peeled right after we moved in. He made sure it was sanded all the way down and advised on a durable "porch paint" which will last a long time. In addition he was friendly w/my little girl and my dog - he even came back to paint the porches on a day when we were gone as a family. He also touched up the spots I pointed out when we did the final walk through.

I had gotten 3 estimates before I found Miguel and let's just say that Miguel offers extremely reasonable prices. Two of the quotes I received were at least double of what Miguel quoted me. Miguel is easy to communicate with and reviewed all the work I requested. I wanted new flooring, wall paneling removed and smoothed out with new paint, change of all the fixtures and exhaust fan, change the shower door and mirror, and add a recessed light over the shower. He provided the quote and we agreed to a payment plan. He informed me of everything that I needed to purchase on my end and have ready for his team when they arrived. They were punctual and very respectful of the space and clean as well. You can tell Miguel really takes pride in his work and even went above and beyond what we originally agreed to. I also asked him to change out the vanity in the guest bathroom as a last minute request and he was able to help me with that too. Overall, we had a wonderful experience working with Miguel and his team and will definitely call him for any future projects!
