Brittany exceeded my expectations. She was responsive, kind, calming, affordable, and went above and beyond to make everything perfect. I did the trial run (no regrets) and Brittany came to my home. We went over makeup options, different hair options, and veil placement options. She asked lots of questions to make sure I was comfortable with everything, her skincare prep was fabulous and my makeup looked great! She spent the time to go over each step and customized my look based on my feedback. She's a true natural and was able to take my confusing feedback and turn it into exactly what I was envisioning. On the wedding day, Brittany was such a calm and happy presence in the room. My whole family loved her. We changed a few things we had gone over at the trial, and she remembered everything! Even things I had forgotten mentioning. That meant a lot to me. Brittany truly cares about her clients and it's clear she takes her job seriously. Most people in the wedding industry just treat you like another number but Brittany was the only person in the whole process who treated me like me. Brittany also did my 13 year old's hair and makeup for the wedding. I was worried about her looking too mature but Brittany did her makeup so perfectly, it just highlighted her features in such a soft, natural way... I was honestly speechless. I'm an anxious worrier but I never had to give a second thought to my hair/makeup/veil. Brittany added body glow and left behind a little touch up kit that had everything I needed. She even helped my mom with her makeup and lashes and squeezed in a friend who needed last minute hair and makeup services. My hair and makeup lasted all night, looked fabulous, and I felt like a star. I would hire Brittany again in a heartbeat to do anything makeup or hair related. She is truly an expert in her craft and her passion shows. In all the crazy hecticness of the wedding world - Brittany was the one of my favorite parts.

I am a professional makeup artist contracted by this company, and I can tell you these folks…read moregenuinely have been abysmal to deal with from an employee standpoint and I'm not sure what that says about them as a company, but I would NOT trust your credit card number with them. They pay us via their own online payroll system and we have to login to to transfer our funds to a bank account or Paypal. After working a few jobs with them, my account was hacked and someone was able to login, add a new transfer method and transfer my wages to their account within 4 minutes of my being notified of a "new login". I saw it immediately as I was on my computer when it happened, and changed the password, but it was too late. They had transferred funds to a Paypal account that was named with my last name, so it's obvious that there was some kind of data breach in their system that allowed for someone to strategize this and did this either to track their transfers or simply to fly under the radar and not be noticed. I didn't share my password or login with anyone, nor did I have any other login attempts or hacks on any other account so it's obviously stemmed from wherever this data is being stored. This also obviously was someone that knew their system well enough to be able to do this so quickly in spite of their website backend being a little strange to navigate. After completely ignoring multiple emails, their controller finally responded. I was shocked at the lack of seriousness in the company's response. I could not imagine why any company would not take seriously that their data is so not secure, that their employees wages are straight up getting stolen. Who runs their company that way? When I finally did get a response, the controller was not only NOT EVEN A LITTLE BIT apologetic or empathetic for ACTUAL WAGES from hours of SKILLED WORK getting stolen from THEIR lack of security in THEIR unfortunate excuse for a payroll system, but when asked what the company was willing to do to rectify or assure me that I was safe to continue working and this would not happen again, she simply responded by denying that this has ever happened before and saying there was nothing she could do. I was floored. Any company that handles their employees and their online security this way has no ethics (at best) and can absolutely not be trusted, especially with your data and credit card info.

Words cannot even begin to descirbe how absolutely AMAZING Brian Bond is. He has done my makeup for two occasions and I have never felt as beautiful as I have on those two days! The first time Brian did my makeup was in 2008 for my brother's wedding. Everyone in the bridal party looked beyond stunning. I was just married on September 20th and the ONLY thing I knew for sure when I began planning my wedding was that I wanted Brian to do my makeup! My makeup was absolutely flawless as was the makeup for my mom and bridesmaids! Brian has an amazing way of making you look like yo're not wearing a ton of makeup, you simply look like a flawless version of yourself! The way he does eyes is particularly brilliant, as he has a way of making it so that you don't think "what pretty eye makeup" but rather "what beautiful eyes!" His brilliant use of shadow makes your natural eye color pop! My eyes have never looked so blue! Brian is an extremely UNIQUE makeup artist in that he is not only a BRILLIANT artist but he is also absolutely AMAZING at the customer service i.e. extremely punctual, extremely organized, and completely on top of his game as far and managing time needed for all bridal party etc. This is HUGE when getting ready for a big event as you know you can count on Brian to keep things running smoothly and can sit back and RELAX. In the past I have usually had the experience that people are either brilliant artists or brilliant at customer service. Brian is a rare gem in that he happens to be BOTH! I was extremely fortunate that Brian is so stellar at customer service because due to an e-mail error on my part I almost lost out on being able to book him for my wedding day! I accidentally sent my replied to my mother with the e-mail to book my wedding day instead of sending it to Brian! Fortunately for me, Brian, called me when he hadn't received a return e-mail before booking another job. I was SO grateful for his dilligence, attention to detail and for being kind enough to check in with me before taking another booking. I guarantee that the majority of people would not be so kind and considerate. I recommend Brian to EVERYONE of every age and am forever grateful to him for making me feel like a princess on my wedding day. I look forward to working with him in the future and hope that many more brides are able to have the amazing opportunity to work with Brian. read more

Brian Bond was nothing short of amazing when it came to my personal Maternity Photo Shoot with my active duty Husband. Even the word "amazing" doesn't do his work and his professionalism justice. With only 4 days notice, he squeezed me in - never having used his services before - and he not only squeezed me in, but went above and beyond the call of duty. He found me a hair stylist, Sharone Bishop, who was able to take me just before I was heading to see Brian. His ability to multi-task and communicate efficiently via email was refreshing and a relief. I couldn't be more thankful for both of their services, and because of them, my photos came out beautiful - while being 8 months pregnant to boot! :-) His application and immediate know-how of the look I was going for made me relax right away. I knew I was in good hands and was worry free in an instant after meeting him. I can't thank Brian enough for the ease he gave me to enjoy this photo shoot knowing the pictures would come out beautifully because I felt pretty and confident the whole time. I would recommend working with Brian Bond a million times over!! read more

Brian Bond is a make-up magician, a full fledged professional, and a great person! He obviously loves what he does and is committed to working in partnership with each client to create the best results for each individual. He doesn't have a "one size fits all" approach and he is always bubbling over with new and creative ideas. He spends a lot of time talking to and getting to know his client. My teenage daughter has been a competitive ballroom dancer for the past 3 years and when she found Brian her make-up dreams came true. He has done her make-up for the past year...perhaps 4 or 5 different dance competitions all over Southern California...from Palm Springs to Orange County to San Diego. Each competition requires a different look since my daughter's dance dresses change. The usual start-time for Brian is 5:00 a.m. and he has always arrived on time, full of good cheer, good ideas, and great products. And when he is finished, my daughter has always looked amazing. Brian is extraordinarily talented, creative, fun, enthusiastic and reliable. HE IS THE BEST! read more

Brian is exactly who every bride needs for their wedding day. He is an incredibly talented makeup artist who has a gift of knowing precisely how to accentuate a woman's beauty. I first met Brian when he did my makeup for my best friend's wedding and I truly had NEVER FELT MORE BEAUTIFUL. He was the first person I called after I set the date for my wedding and I was so thankful he was available to do the makeup for my bridesmaids, my mother and myself on my big day. Let me start by saying Brian Bond is seriously the most amazing make up artist I have ever used. Coming from NY I am extremely picky and I have had my make up done a few times in San Diego and was not impressed. My friend Alison referred me to Brian and he literally transforms you . Whether you want full on Glam or just a natural look he can achieve it. He did my make up for my wedding on May 9th, 2009 and transformed me from tired and dead looking to bright, awake , and happy! I love him! I have plenty of pictures from that day if anyone needs to see them for bridal makeup . If you need your makeup done in the Los Angeles or San Diego area, there is no other choice than Brian Bond. Looking at his website, his work speaks for itself, but what his site does not show is his amazing personality that comes with all that talent. Such a pleasure to work with and such an artist. Also, he uses nothing but top-of-the-line products, so you will want to rush to the nearest department store and buy everything he puts on you!! I used Brian for my wedding and we were so impressed that no less than a week later my sister used him for a Halloween portrait where he made their whole family look dead. He can do anything. Shelby is an actual wedding day makeup goddess!!! I don't even know where to start with this review…read morebecause it's difficult to put into words just how amazing and incredibly talented she is. When I was planning for my original wedding for 10/10/20, I reached out to Shelby (WELL in advance) but sadly she was already booked. Fast forward to peak covid, we made the decision to postpone the wedding to 10/23/21 and the only vendor that wasn't able to accommodate our new date was the MUA I previously hired. I immediately reached out to Shelby for the 2nd time, hopeful that she'd be available for the new date, and she was! I knew it was meant to be so I hired her on the spot before doing my trial. I was an out of town bride so we ended up doing a trial a few months later when I was visiting for the weekend and she made all of my wedding makeup dreams come true. I'm a makeup lover and wanted FULL GLAM for the big day and Shelby delivered 1000%! On top of her extremely talented makeup skills, she is incredibly sweet, has the best energy/so fun to be with and we hit it off instantly. I even decided to do a 2nd trial/glam sesh when I was in town again a couple months before the wedding, just because! Shelby recently opened up her own makeup glam bar/studio Toniq, and we decided to use the studio to get ready on wedding day. It was literally a dream! Toniq is THE most fabulous studio ever and I still can't even believe we had such an amazing location to get ready. We had 9 girls total for both makeup & hair and more than enough space for all of us to glam, and set up breakfast and drinks. Shelby is incredibly accommodating - provided ice, drink coolers, and even surprised us all with babe rosè (which of course we had to use in our getting ready photoshoot)! When we arrived, she already had the music playing and the mood was set for the best glam day ever. Again, it was literally a dream! If you are getting married in San Diego and have the option to get ready at Toniq, I absolutely recommend it. Our getting ready photos are better than I ever imagined and look like they belong in a bridal magazine! Shelby - thank you for everything! Postponing our wedding was challenging, but I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and I'll be forever thankful & grateful to have had you as our MUA. There are simply not enough words to express my gratitude, but I'm so happy I had the chance to work with you and now have so many amazing photos and videos to relive all of the best moments getting glammed with my girls for the big day. These memories will last a lifetime and you truly made me feel like the most beautiful bride (not to mention, my makeup lasted ALL day & night - through A LOT of tears and endless dancing)! I don't live in San Diego (we were just there for the wedding), but I hope that I have an excuse to get my makeup done in San Diego again, so I can use Kimm!

I found Kimm and emailed her asking if she was comfortable with oily skin and she immediately responded stating she knew how to work with all skin types. I trusted her response and booked my trial. I'm so happy I did! From beginning to end she listened to what I wanted and used products that suited my skin type. She mentioned each step and how it will work for me. She was extremely kind and made sure my Maid of Honor was welcomed and comfortable during the trial. After Kimm finished, immediately I looked over to my Maid of Honor and we gave each other that look and I knew she will be my artist for my Wedding Day! I loved Kimm so much that I contacted her again to do my makeup for a wedding that I was attending. She of course did amazing work once again! I want to mention during each time I emailed Kimm she promptly responded each time. My wedding day came and she was there on time with an additional artist to accommodate the time I needed to be done. Again beautiful work! My mom loved her makeup! Kimm made it fun and all the bridesmaids loved her! When I sat down I knew I was in great hands. The previous day I made my own touch up bag to use during the wedding because I was afraid my makeup wouldn't last during photos and the ceremony but I'm being completely honest I DID NOT HAVE TO USE IT ONCE. Her makeup lasted from begging to end on my wedding and I cried multiple times! I received so many compliments! Thank you again Kimm! You will forever be my Makeup Artist!

What I loved most about Nancy's work the first time was that I literally cried my eyes out at my sister's wedding, and I remember thinking my make up was absolutely ruined, and when I looked in the mirror I had never looked better. The make up stayed Until the next day. The second thing that I loved most about Nancy's work is that she has experience working with little to no eyebrow hair and drawing on eyebrows. It was as if she could bring out extra beauty in gals that were already stunning! I have never liked getting my makeup done. I don't usually wear much and at beauty counters they always seem to want to sell you more makeup, and try to disguise all your natural features not really help you look better as you. I would rush away from the counter to go wipe it all off. I need to learn how to apply makeup better myself and feel comfortable wearing a bit more then I usually do, so I asked Maria to help me.
